Palmer - clutch putt falls for birdie (-1)

Nielsen - poor decision on how to attack the hole leads to bogey (+3)

Koekela - solid par (-4)

Brown - shot runs through the green and player can't get up and down to save par, bad time for that with holes running out and the cut looking like it's going to be just out of reach unless he can get hot on the last 3. (+1)

Babson - solid par (+2)

Palmer - shot runs through the green and just like Brown he fails to get up and down and he also drops a critical shot at a bad time (E)

Fujita - consistent play for par (-3)

Jaily - great fairway bunker shot allows player to save par (+5)

Hole 18

Schaplowsky - too aggressive with the line off the tee gets player in trouble, but he scrapes out a par (+1) - shoots a nice 33 on the back and a 1 under for the round but finishes at 1 over after 2 rounds.

Nielsen - par putt was too firm for the line - bogey (+4) - 1 over on the back the day and he finishes 4 over overall.

Koekela - aggressive putting allows player to save par (-4) - after going 2 under on the front, but he was even on the back - 2 under for the round and 4 under for the tournament

Brown - well played par (+3) - looked like he might make the cut until the double bogey at 17 ended all hopes...finished 2 over for the round and 3 over for the first 2 rounds.

Babson - solid par (+3) - Even par for the day and 3 over for the tournament

Palmer - solid par (-1) - got to 1 under overall and it was due to his 1 under round today.

Fujita - good drive and good putting result in birdie (-4) - thanks to the birdie at 18 Fujita goes 1 under for the round

Jaily - solid par (+5) - shoots 1 under on the back but is 2 over for the round and 5 over for the tournament

Dawson - good drive and great putting get Dawson his needed birdie (E) - gets his clutch birdie on 18 to make it to the weekend. Goes 1 under on the day.

The conditions here are perfect for scoring today, and with 7 pin placements that can safely be called easy, we expect to see some low scores today. In round 1 the average score was a 70.970 and in round two it dropped to a 70.818...today we might see an average score of under 70...

Hole 1

Kokela - smart play for an easy par (-4)

Palmer - soild par (-1)

Fujita - sinks a tricky big breaking 20 footer for birdie, and a share of the lead (-5)

Dawson - Solid par (E)

Hays - perfectly placed drive leads to birdie, and a share of the lead (-5)

Courtney - short drive limits options and player pars the hole (-5)

Storms - more conservative play allows player to save par (E)

Sherman - more conservative play allows player to save par (-3)

Fujita - solid par (-5) - started the round strong but the bogey at 8 put him back to just 1 under so far today.

Dawson - solid par (+1) - 1 over for the front 9

Hays - solid par (-5) managed to shoot a 1 under 35 to open the round

Hole 10

Kokela - drive lacks length to attack the hole - settle for par (-8)

Palmer - can't take advantage of the wide landing area as drive is too short to attack the pin - par (-4)

Fujita - takes advantage of the wide landing area to blast a drive and get a birdie (-6)

Dawson - solid par (+1)

Hays - huge drive sets up birdie (-6)

Courtney - solid par (-4)

Storms - solid par (+1)

Sherman - solid par (-4)

Robie - took a poor line and found the water left - managed to get bogey (+1)

Phan - solid par (-2)

Reynolds - solid par (-5)

Decker - solid par (-4)

Bly - player was aggressive off the tee and managed to put himself in prime position but only managed a par (-2)

Hays - laser focus leads to birdie, and that's back to back for Hays (-7)

Courtney - like Dawson, decides to go at the pin with the short iron and it pays off (-5)

Storms - short iron fired at the pin leads to birdie (E)

Sherman - solid par (-4)

Robie - solid par (+1)

Phan - overly aggressive play leads to bogey (-1)

Reynolds - terrible strategy and aggressiveness on the hole combine to get player a double bogey (-3)

Kokela - smart course management allows player to save par (-11) - shoots a 32 on the back and finishes the round in 64 strokes.

Palmer - textbook par (-1) - back 9 of 38 kills the momentum from the front 9, but player shoots even on the day.

Fujita - solid par (-8) - a 32 on the back combined with the 1 under front 9 allows Jimmy to post a 67.

Dawson - solid par (+1) - even on the back and 1 over for the round and tournament

Hays - solid par (-7) - shoots a 33 on the back 9 and a 68 for the round.

Courtney - textbook par (-7) - back 9 in 32 strokes overcomes a 1 over front side and player posts a 69 shot round.

Storms - putt is too firm for the line and player bogeys (E) - even par on the round

Sherman - par putt was too firm (-4) - 1 under for the day

Robie - well played par (-1) - 1 under on the back and the round

Having said that, with no chance to get worse, it's all aggressive on Day 4.

I will have to post results for the final round next week because I'll heading out of town tonight to take my son on a recruiting trip to college. Just wanted everyone to be aware so they weren't wondering what was taking so long. I will run the final round no later than Monday 7 EST.

Koekela - solid par (-11)

Palmer - had to scramble after leaving himself on the wrong side of the fairway but an excellent cut shot onto the green falls inside 10 feet and the birdie is converted (-2)

Fujita - solid par (-7)

Dawson - had a run at eagle but had to settle for birdie (E)

Hays - consistent play for par (-7)

Courtney - has to scramble after leaving himself on the wrong side of the fairway, but the cut shot into the green is well played and the player gets a birdie (-8)

Storms - player settles for par (E)

Sherman - solid par (-4)

Robie - solid par (-2)

Phan - solid par (-2)

Reynolds - wrong side of the fairway and can't scramble to get a legitimate birdie opportunity - settle for par (-3)
