I'm not really wild about a tie; with CF dead we have no clue what will happen in that case.

Vote bholly

Still don't feel strongly about either one, bholly seems like a slightly better candidate though.

Wish there was more talk so I could debate with a few to see if we should create a tie. At thispoint I'm not going to cause the tie w/out discussion. That leaves zinto or a last minute switch to bhlloy from someone.

vote zinto

You are ushered through the aqua door into complete darkness. You are all getting very comfortable with this lack of light. I don't want to know what's going on where other people can't see.

The screen appears on the door and shows.. bhlloy! A murmur goes up amongst you, and someone points out Zinto in the new room.

"I welcomed all votes, but it will not be me that dies this night. Bhlloy is a better choice!" exclaims Zinto, as you all eye him queerly.

Bhlloy swears in the other room, though you cannot hear the run of profanity that spews from his mouth.

The ceiling opens above him and he stares up at it expectantly. A mountain of sand pours down upon him, suffocating him as he stands. His arms flail for a moment, but then he is submerged. You search the pile of sand with your eyes for movement, but nothing comes. Bhlloy is no more.

Bhlloy was a scientist!

The room falls back into darkness as the screen showing the sand fades away. After a few minutes a flash of light comes again and you see Zinto upon the ground, knives stuck into his body spelling "RAMBO".

Zinto was the duke!

The Jester chortles throughout the room.

AND NOW, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!

THE MAIN EVENT, THE PIECE DE RESISTANCE!

The room flashes BRIGHT RED, knocking all of you to the ground. One is left engulfed in flames, the fire from the inferno device slowly eating away his already deceased form.

Mckerney was the inferno hunter!

Holy crap , three dead! Great call on that zinto and sorry you're dead. Anybody know why he died and why mckerney also died? Was that a nk from a wolf team?

That's the third dead for scientists, that's gotta be it for them. Or I wonder if jackal will let us know when a team is killed off.

You are once again given three room choices:

The first is peach, has the letter K, and the number sequence: 5 7 2 7 5 4 6 4 1 1

The second is azure, has the letter B, and the number sequence: 4 8 7 2 1 8 4 3 2 1

The third is lime, has the letter U, and the number sequence: 2 6 7 1 7 3 1 9 1 7

Jackal announced that whoever was nk'd the other night was at the work of the scientists so the other wolves seemingly haven't killed anybody yet.

I will be in and out tomorrow and Sunday but will be back on the road Sunday for six hrs so hopefully I'm around at deadline. I should be able to at least access by phone minimally.

Nice duke, Zinto - and hooray for getting all the scientists!

I am not sure how Zinto died, but it seems mckerney died because he had the inferno device on him and we suck at picking the correct door.

Based on the door selections that Jackal just posted, this is what we have for letters/numbers from the "correct" doors throughout the first 4 days:

Green - letter A and a number sequence: 3 8 1 8 8 2 4 7 8 3
Maroon - letter T and a number sequence: 6 1 8 6 6 3 8 5 4 9
Amber - letter V, and the number sequence: 2 6 4 6 7 5 4 3 6 6
Violet - letter O, and the number sequence: 9 3 5 1 2 3 5 3 4 6

I killed Zinto - I put in a conditional order to night kill the player who survived the vote to make sure (as much as I thought we could) we had at least one good kill today.

I certainly didn't expect to end up hitting the duke, but I figured with no seer in the game and a couple wolves already off the board that this was a good spot to use power. 50/50 shot (theoretically) on a wolf.

If I had it to do over again, I would have requested to use the night kill only if the lynch came up villager. I'm not sure that would have been accepted, but I should have put that out there as a yes/no for the moderator rather than assuming "no".

I'm really surprised to see Zinto get killed there having duked it onto Bhlloy. I wouldn't have expected Zinto as the first nightkill choice, even with a conditional order.

Hee. I have to admit I'd managed to convince myself that both Zinto and Bhlloy were scientists and I was starting to see conspiracies (partly involving Hoops) so this has all been a bit of a surprise. I've kind of fixated on there being 4 scientists so it's a bit difficult for me to adapt to my preconceptions being wrong. My only concern is that there's no information that we've destroyed the scientists. No way of knowing if we would get that anyway though but it's hard for me to drop a pet theory once it's solidified in my head.

Can't believe there are 2 neutrals and 4 wolves dead and we've only lost 2 villagers. I think it's unfortunate that Hoops took out a roled player but I would have done the same thing in his position (for different reasons, admittedly, but we'll skirt over that).

With Hoops in the clear we should be in a great position to get this worked through. Got the weekend to think things out and look at the voting and posts. I'm not sure the voting is going to be much help - it's pretty much been all about the scientists up to now it seems.

Worth noting that day four voting only means anything if there's another scientist or if you believe construction workers knew who the scientist was and wanted to kill him.

I would figure that the wolves would be trying to extend the game as long as possible at this point, so the D4 vote probably just means nothing.

My inclination is to vote for J23 today - we probably have one wolf left in each group from day 2, and I'd rather figure out the Abe was protecting someone with a bad d1 vote theory before the Abe was protecting ntn theory. Although I wouldn't be opposed to an ntn lynch either.

Ha! Just remembered this. Bhlloy said he was voting for the green door on day one. Betcha that the scientists had scanned the green door and that he didn't vote for it at all, the little fibber. Nice when another little piece of the puzzle falls into place. That was on the end of a run of green door votes with me, Packer and Telle. *cue ominous music*

*Not really. Doubt two wolves were involved in that sort of shenanighans, even if they were on opposing teams.*

Okay the guys pinging me the most are Tyrith, Danny and Packer. Not co-incidentally these are guys who have posted a lot. I think we getting into the realms of
a) finding suspicious things in people who post more
b) hold-over from my "there-must-be-4-scientists-because-I'm-sure-Bhlloy-and-Zinto-are-both-scientists-so-there-must-be-4-construction-workers-and-anyone-arguing-anything-else-is-a-suspect" paranoia.

So I suspect my judgement isn't to be trusted now. I mean I'd probably be voting Hoops already today had he not revealed. I'll sleep on things and see if I can get a clearer take on things tomorrow.

Ok all we have to do is treat this like a day one but with a lot more information to work off of. I still think there's four wolves per team but, you know, my track record on this sort of question isn't the best and I'm willing to admit that. It doesn't really matter too much one way or the other anyway, except if there's 3 wolves on one team left then they have a better shot at protecting each other. We carry on until we find two more wolves and then it's game over or, well, it isn't. Maybe I'm just trying to make it more exciting as luck has meant that things have gone pretty easily so far and I want there to be a bit of a challenge.

So day one we want to get votes out and, preferably, moving. I'll presume that there's 2 wolves left. Presuming that there was at least one wolf from each team in each thread on day two we can presume that there must be, at least, one wolf in the main thread and possibly two.

Leaving us Tyrith, Danny, Packer, J23, Hoops and myself. We scratch Hoops off the suspect list because I think it's pretty irrefutable that he's the commando. Unfortunately for the activity of this game that's pretty much all the remaining active players collected as suspects. Much as I'd like to work my way through the UTR players I'd rather get the game won as quickly as possible.

I think Tyrith is a scientist but it doesn't really matter whether he is or not at the moment. He's not going anywhere and I'm pretty confident that he would be the last one if he is. If he is a scientist he has as much of a reason to want to track down the construction workers as the rest of us. He could be a construction worker but apart from an insistence that there must be three wolves per team I don't see anything pointing in that direction.

J23? Tyrith thinks that Abe might have been trying to save J23 with his push for unaniminity on day two. That's possible but my read on J23 is that he's been pretty villagery. He hasn't really posted a whole bunch so it is pretty difficult to get a read but still.

Packer? Dunno - can't really read him that well. He's been pinging me a bit so he's a definite candidate in my eyes. Don't like the day one vote on Autumn.

Danny? Last game Danny was all over us like a rash - before we finally managed to kill him he'd nailed three wolves. I know people have good and bad games but he's not led anything here, he seems to have been very reactive rather than proactive. There's one thing that points towards villager for him though - like his late vote switch to Dwardzala on day two. I can't see any reason for a wolf to make that move giving the unknowns he faced. Crimson and Bhlloy both had reasons for the move but I can't see them for a wolf Danny. Then again it could be a risky move to gain trust or the construction workers might have worked out that Dwardzala was a scientist.

Narcizo? Dunno - I think I've had one of my better villager games but the nature of the beast is that it does nothing to clear me from suspicion of being a construction worker. Which kind of sucks.

Torn between Packer and Danny at the moment. Neither are fantastically strong candidates but then who else is?

Vote Packer

Viewing this as a day one vote I'm happy to move my vote so it isn't all by itself by this evening. With 11 people to vote I'd like to see a three-way race going towards deadline.

I'd agree that I haven't been as proactive, but that's largely due to how the days have gone down. I missed almost all of day and day 3 was a runaway. The other days both my votes were on wolves, but really I was fine with the other candidates out there as well. I become much more aggressive when I feel the village is making mistakes or lacking direction, which hasn't been the case thus far.

That said, I agree with your analysis regarding the thread split and the players who were in the main thread being a good place to look for today

Regarding the four of us who are a candidates, I haven't really gotten a wolfy vibe from any of the four. Looking at the vote history, I can see a case for all three, but would probably lean against packer. Day 1 Narciso had a vote on Zinto and you'd have to think it's likely a wolf would have been on him somewhere. But J23 was on DV and again it's likely a construction worker would have been in that 7 somewhere.

And I'm in the three wolves per team camp myself, so at this point I think we look for who looks like a construction worker.

So with all that said, I'm leaning toward a Narcizo or J23 vote. Not sure at this point though.

Not really following your logic there. There was a construction worker on Zinto - Abe. I think your point about J23 is decent but not conclusive. There might have been a construction worker voting DV , then again there might not have been. If you presume three wolves then I think you could see all the wolves in one team missing a candidate (there's no known scientists on Zinto, for example). And I'm not really sure I understand where the free pass for Packer comes from. I'd say the weakest day one votes are Packer and, well, you. Everyone can miss a vote but they have to accept that it has to be viewed as a weak vote afterwards. After day one you both have solid anti-scientist votes but that counts for nothing. The late switch to Dwardza on day two is a plus in my books as a move that doesn't make a lot of sense for a construction worker. Which is why my vote is on Packer and not you at the moment.

You don't like my day 1 vote on a now-confirmed wolf? The only way that could be portrayed as bad, to me, would be if I were a scientist too (since I would have no way to know he were a wolf otherwise). That just seems like you are grasping at straws (especially since it was an early day 1 vote).

Even with 19 people in this game, I think 11-4-4 seems pretty steep (and 2 neutrals in the 11 group). I think treating today as an extension of day 1 is a good idea, but you won't learn anything from lynching me (otherwise I would gladly take one for the team)

I think I am going to look at J23 today. He had the 3rd vote on DV on day 1, clearly staying away from where Abe was voting (Zinto had 3 at the time too), and he was quick to through the 3rd vote on dward on Day 2 as well.

VOTE J23

Danny brought up the voting record, not me. I just didn't understand why your record is better than J23's or mine. My vote on you is from a combination of;
a) thinking there's definitely at least one wolf in the main thread day two,
b) certain degree of gut -feeling about some of your play and statements, and
c) want of a better candidate.

Like I said I'm absolutely not set on the vote. I'll move it given a better candidate or if no-one else puts a vote on you before 16:00.

Ok. I just looked back and I did say that I didn't like your vote on Autumn.

Sue me.

But yeah, I don't like a throwaway vote on day one.

I can understand that. I was pretty scarce during the day that day, and I knew I wanted to vote. Unfortunately the vote looks lost amongst the rest
