This vote was made early on with the vote tied 1-1 between Cougar and Dubb. Getting the non brutal lynched yesterday would have almost certainly done the wolves in. I don't think Packer risks voting for Cougar there if they are both wolves.

He also did not vote Dubb later and potentially cause a tie. Perhaps he was afraid that a tie would have resulted in them both being lynched? It's not 100%, but I don't see anyway I don't vote Dubb today (if alive)

He did unvote here, but at this point, the interaction between he and Dubb may have been forced to try an distance themselves from one another as well as draw suspicion to the brutal wolf.

I think Packer's instinct would have been to vote for the non wolf (Cougar) and then later after exchanging some PM's with Dubb, he thought better of it and that's when they tried to distance themselves.

Another interesting thing is they brutaled Autumn, who was clearly going to be locked into Dubb today. Early in a game you might do that to set someone up, but we'll be down to 4 players today and even Autumn's one for sure Dubb vote would have meant at best Dubb would have tied with Cougar. I think they killed Autumn thinking they have a better chance to sway the other players left. I'm guessing I will be the night kill tonight.

Interesting, I wonder if Coffee Warlord had some ability. If not, I can only assume this was to add confusion. I can't imagine the remaining wolf not getting a night kill in at all on purpose.

Since we're so close to endgame, I can let this out...

They didn't attack me, or at least I didn't know about it. If, as we assume, there is only 1 wolf left and they went after me, the game'd be over. Muad'dib does not die easily.

Nothing fishy to report from me, either. If the wolf was just one of dubb and cougar, I can't imagine that one attacked the other -- they would have gone for one of the cleareds. I'm assuming they just didn't get an order in.

It may not matter actually. We have 4-1 right now with three cleared, so we should have two chances which means penbing some ability we win.

Pass, have you played with dubb much? Him voting for fellow wolves is common practice, in fact he's often someone who makes clinching votes and pushes for the lynch of a fellow wolf.

I still feel strongly dubb is the other wolf but if you to insist on voting cougar I will switch as with the 4-1 advantage the last thing we need is some mystery tie situation.

Also not to meta game but cougar appeared to be active after the lynch deadline where as dubb was not. It seems more likely dubb would have missed a night kill order / not changed it if it was set to autumn. Especially since when he was last active it did not look at all like packer was going to be lynched.

A little, but I wouldn't say much. You did say something earlier about him being likely to do that I noticed -- I can't say I remember him doing anything like that personally.

Also the game I was thinking of the most was my group therapy game where dubb voted and pushed for lynching his fellow wolves eaglefan and telle on consecutive days. I seem to remember him doing it other times as well.

I remember all of my games, but I refuse to discuss them in the middle of a new game in the context of a new game. This is a new game, new role, new situation, and new strategy. If you want to talk of past games we can discuss them after this one.

I will talk about it in the context of that game but not this one. It was not consecutive days. On day two we split our votes between EF and a villager. EF was the lynch. EF almost was the lynch on day 1 and would have been the lynch on day three without question. Why not leverage some trust there on day two instead of dragging it out to day three and looking bad?

On day 5 Telle had been in the spotlight nearly every day at some point. She was going to be the lynch at some point. Plus she was the brutal and takes a villager with her. There was a very early run on here and in fact by the time I voted she already had a three vote lead. Yes I voted her and said "she looks bad" but by the time I did it she was a goner anyway.
