I'll tell y a - if they can pick up a tourney win with Chris Lofton only scoring 4 - I'm a happy man. You have to figure that's a recipe for disaster against anyone, even a 15 seed.

I see some fouling from American has helped the Vols stretch it to 63-53 with 1:38 left.

Curry is a ball player. I can't believe he isn't at Duke. He just fits the mold of Duke basketball player.

Given the Vols tournament history, this seems like a mixed bag. On the one hand, it's the sort of game they could easily have lost in the past so in that sense it's a positive. On the other hand, this is very much same ol' same ol' from them come tournament time, and that's very a bad sign.

So far I've lost 4 picks, and gone only 1-2 on my upsets, but I've not lost any team that I didn't have losing in the next round.

Its also nice as always to see Georgia lose early in the tournament, and Duke almost lose. I have Purdue hopefully beating Purdue soon enough though, but fear I must wait a while to see Wisconsin knock off UNC.

If my team can't make the tournament, I might as well go sour grapes against UGA, UNC and Duke!

Western Kentucky was screwed on that call. Drake's defender was still moving his feet. No way that was a charge.

That charge wasn't quite as bad as I first thought.. Why are they inbouding the ball in the corner though?

Hurricanes down by 7 to St. Mary's, but come out roaring in the 2nd half on a 15-3 ruin. They eventually outscored Mary's 51-32 int he half, and Jack McClinton had 38 of the Canes 78 points.

The feet don't matter when the call is for leading with his forearm.

Good point. Watching it on replay, I still think it was a flop.

Looked for all the world to me like the defender thought they wanted an intentional foul there.

Same here. Now, he gets to redeem himself for misunderstanding his coach (assuming he did so.)

Yeh, that was weird. I think he got confused because the other 2 guys ran up and doubled the ball.

LOL

Dexter Pittman from Texas just ripped a defensive rebound out of the hands of the Austin Peay player and dunked it. There was also a foul called on the defensive player, because the momentum of the steal caused him to bang into Pittman on the way up.
