I would hope people don't need to move the deadline - as Autumn pointed out, we had some extra time.

But people probably should not plan on a packed room as the deadline approaches tomorrow. So get your votes/discussion in early

And agree this has been a fun game so far, based on the group and the moderator/ruleset.

For others, tomorrow is crazy cuz they're going out with significant others and what not. For me, it's just Monday--a two job day.

I can deal and have dealt with that in the past. Issue is, at my day job, where I have access to this site, we moved over the weekend to a new location in our office, and in this new place, my cubicle and monitor screen are now visible to my boss. Ugh.

Now, my boss is pretty kick back. That said, I'm going to have to be much more circumspect, so don't expect much participation from me in the day time going forward. This will probably be a return to earlier in my WW days, when I hadn't found a way around the firewall at work.

P.S. I agree, it has been a fun game. It will be interesting to see where it all ends up.

you can try what i do...switch to the Child of vBullitin3 skin so it is light blue, and then resize the window to be the same size as the preview pane in MS outlook...that way i have the board open and anyone that walks by thinks i am looking at an email since my inbox is still up in the background and all they see on the bottom is text.

Yeah..today's vote is pivotal. If there isn't much debating going on today it will definitely benefit the Mafia. Lets hope the votes for crimson or mckeeney can create something. Ill be on the road this afternoon but carpooling so ill be here as much as I can.

well i dont know how i feel about either Crimson or McKerney, but i am still feeling a serious amount of BS coming from Hoops...yes, i realize there would have been no reason for him to come out with anything...he could have just let sleeping dogs lie in terms of what happened Friday night, but lets not forget we are talking about the guy that was outed as a wolf and still convinced a whole game full of people to vote for someone else instead of him...he is arguable the best player on the board, so i hardly think a fake reveal that buys him trust from the village is outside the scope of his wolf abilities

saldana, I've done that a couple of times but I don't need to get tricky this time around. Nor do I think that the game is really constructed in a manner to encourage fake reveals like some others (last game, for example).

Anyway, I'm buried with work stuff today and I'm not going to have as much time for analysis as I would like. But I haven't heard anything yet that makes me think the vote for Daddy Torgo yesterday was a bad move so I'll go back to that well for now.

In no way is hoops clear, but I don't think a run on him today is necessary. Definitely a candidate worthy of being scanned.

There is a bit of info I have been keeping from y'all. since I was the only one to have it before the roles were won last time. the escort service's purpose is to block folks from using thier services or roles. I used it on PF on night 1.

Of the candidates that have been brought up today I am leaning towards either DT or CF today. Clearly I was in favor of the move to DT. (and to remind folks that was slower than you thought...1st mention was at 7:08) I think CrimsonFox has been playing low and slow.

Were you told if he had a service and what service it was?

Rather the escort service blocks night activity instead of all roles and service. if there is a day operated service the escorts will have no power to block that

Yes, Jackal that vote on you was a total joke because you provided the perfect setup for a punchline and even your reaction was funny. I didn't plan on leaving the vote there, but then something very interesting happened. For no reason, a minirun started on you. (from Lathum and DV). I hung there to see what further would happen. Lathum is now known to be a villager. DV is assumed innocent from a scan I think. But it does point to the increased amount of runs we've had so far, especially toward the end of the day.

The other thing that bothers me is the first day nightkill. Danny was the target. This happens a LOT and it was explained to me before that the reason is "because he's a good player" and that it's good to get rid of him early. Only longtime regular players know that though and say that, not the many newbies we have. Someone like (of the people left) Chief Rum or hoopsguy or Jackal or someone like that. Since I've seen hoopsguy jump onto runs so far that made me look, I think he's very suspicious.

The other thing that bothers me is mauboy. Every vote has been on mckerney. This is a very Poli-ish move to hide your intentions and cover them up with the excuse of "well I always do that" when many times poli was a wolf doing that. Compounded with the frequency of him joining bandwagons, he is suspicious to me.

But I think my first guess is right.

I figured it was a joke vote, but as you said the run started on top of it. But I'm not voting you out of spite for the "joke" or "flyby" vote, whatever you want to call it. Same reasoning that's on mckerney I suppose, I felt that betting on and voting for Lathum was a great place for a wolf to be on day 1, as noted by myself and others in the thread. So that's my backing behind it. But I'm alright with the others on the block too (mckerney, DT). Hoops.. that's an interesting angle that I don't think I'll be participating in quite yet. If he is a villager it's a waste to lynch him. Though he's been busy so far, as a villager he's a great weapon to have.

Vote tyketime

I still don't really get the line of reasoning that betting on the person who told others to bet on him when we had nothing else to go on is any sort of a strong indication of being a wolf. What remains far more suspicious to me is the day two voting on DV, with the message ntn claimed to have received and DV being cleared by the seer. tyketime is someone who made that play while staying under the radar mostly, he's got my vote for now. I'm certainly open to changing later I'll do it, but for now I'd rather have my vote on a candidate I think has the strongest chance of being a wolf.

I also think it's a bit worrisome that we haven't seen the betting from day two. I would hope that the winner would come forward with it, but at this point it wouldn't surprise me if the wolves bought it to cover their tracks.

My guess is that the winner of the betting parlor on Day Two chose to use the other option, whcih is less beneficial to the village, but more beneficial to the service owner.

I chose the village option on Night One, because it was the only time I thought it would be particularly useful. Otherwise, I would have gone with the other option, too.

It's been a while, I think everyone's revealed who's going to -- I can't see anyone waiting this long, especially with a lot of people not around this deadline.

Can you clue people in as to what you want them to read? If you're hung up on getting everyone to reveal, it's just not going to happen. And if you're the one wanting people to reveal so you can verify it, you're going to have to bang the drum a lot louder than just giving some hints about what you want. And if you're referring to something else, again, you're going to have to get a little louder to get it talked about. Not a lot of info regarding that was given to the public, so no one really knows what to think of it, probably.

I don't know that I find him more or less tempting a target than other Lathum voters though.

I would propose laying off Pass for today and hopefully we can get a seer scan of him tonight. For one, if he's good and hoops is telling the truth, he has some money that can help the village. For two, if he ends up being a wolf, then hoops looks somewhat more suspicious to me (combo of betting him on D1, possibly trying to mitigate an unlucky D1 lynch of a fellow wolf) and DT would definitely look more suspicious since Pass believed he was saving him with last night's vote. On the other hand, if Pass is cleared (and I've read him as good since the beginning for what it's worth) would make me feel better about hoops, because it would appear he's revealing accurate information that he otherwise shouldn't be able to get from a villager. A scan there seems to provide a lot of value, assuming we can trust the person who provides it, which is of course the 64k question.
