the only reason i would hide the smell from any loved one is that they would try to mooch off me.

Mine will fucking bitch and I don't feel like putting up with it. Besides, if they tried to mooch, I would explain that I only bought a bottle of $6.95 vodka. Got the job done so I'm not complaining.

It does. I had to forgo last weekend due to the sickness, but after dowing a few today, feel so much better after a horrible start to the week. Will likely follow suit tomorrow with another afternoon off, then get as drunk as possible on Friday. Will ask the waitress out for real this time too

I feel sort of buzzed, but I'm in a great mood! When you spend a lot of time in neutral or bad moods, you forget what a good mood actually feels like. It's fantastic. I just wanna say a bunch of inspirational shit and tell all of you to "reach for the stars!!". Haha this is so fun.

I threw my god damned back out today, and I can't walk or sit for more than 5 minutes at a time. I would be drinking but I only like being horizontal after I'm wasted. Not to mention I don't think I can stand long enough to mix a drink.

Christ you people suck. I need to scroll to the 5th fucking page to post in this thread anymore cause no one else bumps it

That said, I FINALLY DID IT! I asked the waitress out!

Was playing it cool all night, she ever commented how opinioned I was tonight. Plus some other arm touching and conversation from her side put off a good vibe, so I decided I would go through with it.

Got talking about music - country to be specific, a like we share in common - so I mentioned some tickets I won off the radio. Ended up saying I could offer her my second one. First she laughed, then said she never knowns when she has to work, especially with big concerts in town.

Bitter rejection, but nonetheless I feel much better. This has been building since March and I will be able to think more clearly without worry about it.

Guess that is all for tonight, came home without stopping at my usual 3rd stop, an effort to prove to myself that once I start drinking I can stop at will.

Oh! The song for tonight is 'Dream Big' by some Ryan character and a rubberband.

Quote:
When you cry, be sure to dry your eyes,
'Cause better days are sure to come.
And when you smile, be sure to smile wide,
And don't let them know that they have won.
And when you walk, walk with pride,
And don't show the hurt inside,
Because the pain sill soon be gone.

(Chorus)
And when you dream, dream big,
As big as the ocean, blue.
'Cause when you dream it might come true.
But when you dream, dream big.

And when you laugh, be sure to laugh out loud,
'Cause it will carry all your cares away.
And when you see, see the beauty all around and in yourself,
And it will help you feel okay.

And when you pray, pray for strength to help to carry on,
But when the troubles come your way.

(Chorus)
And when you dream, dream big,
As big as the ocean, blue.
'Cause when you dream it might come true.
But when you dream, dream big.

(Dream big.)
(Dream big.)

When you cry be sure to dry your eyes,
cause better days are sure to come.
And when you smile be sure to smile wide, and
don't let them know that they have one.
And when you laugh be sure to laugh out loud,
'Cause it will carry all your cares away.
And when you see, see the beauty all
around and in yourself, and it will help you feel okay.
And when you pray, pray for strength to
help to carry on when the troubles come your way.

Which is also another good sign, as I finally (but not really) ended the Gary Allan addiction, who was the ex's and I favorite artist. She quit listening to him after it ended, but for a long time I just kept his various CD's on repeat again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again,.

Not to sound like a dick, but I think by this point of the thread, that one post isn't going to change anybody's opinion, good or bad, of you.

Maybe, maybe not. But it was pretty bad, very pathetic sounding for those that saw it. Especially considering how it was something tht should have been said and forgotten about 4 months ago. Why it resurfaced last night, I do not know. Hence the deletion.

I drank a fifth of Jager the night of the Tyson-Holyfield fight, the one where Tyson munched on part of Evander's ear. I figured I'd be dead the next day, but I woke up without any hangover.

To this day I don't understand why.

Seriously, though, if you want it back let me know.

I was well on my way to a nice drunk while tubing on the Guadalupe river this weekend, but about halfway through the finacee' got TRASHED and passed out, so I had to babysit her ass and make sure she didn't drown.

Not when you eat the greasy breakfast at the IHOP/Waffle House or the pizza you're going to order from Mazzio's.

You're so full of shit there, alchie. Everyone knows that drunk people don't take time to fix healthy food! They eat the easiest shit they can find. I bet you've called Papa John's for them to deliver a hot and fresh spicy italian pizza. Didn't you?!

okay, fine. i'll post alone in this thread again since everyone else seems to have forgotten about it.

rewind to last night...Came home from work a bit drunk and sort of forgot about my dad's birthday We aren't going to officially celebrate it until Saturday - and I'm ready to - but I forgot to wish him a happy birthday until my sister and her boyfriend showed up with cards, but by that point he probably thought it was only an afterthought to me. I feel terrible

tonight, i went with my boss to the horse race track. i drunk a bit of vodka on the way there and was making a total ass of myself before we even got into the stadium. he won over $300, while I, of course, lost everything i bet .

was abour 12:30 when we finished, so i deicded to call it a night and come home, in itself no easy task as home is over 15 miles way from there, but since i'm here posting, all is good!!!
