Maybe not. But I bet Lathum and Alan are thinking it over if they're clean.

I honestly don't know. I don't think you're wrong in that there is a wolf in our tribe and theirs, but I don't know about the communication part. Although I do have to say that their bids are eerily close to ours. Is that coincidence or foul play?

But again, I go back to why take us down? Why not go after Oz again and try to get another shot at having the seer voted out? Especially if Lupus gave the wolfbane to Oz. Is there something there that I'm not seeing?

I think there was talk right when the challenge went out as to who should win the challenge. and I do think that it was decided that either Helsing would win or we would lose or both

I would say it is a mistake and get my tribe to go along with it because part of me is playing survivor more than WW.

It's a fair question. But having two tribes down to three might help a team with multiple wolves stay strong. Could also be that if there was a wolf on Oz that he wasn't available or didn't have a good idea of exactly where they had placed their bid. (I'm thinking out loud here, so bear with me). On the other hand, we were the only team that hadn't bid yet. Our bid could be somewhat influenced and at the same time Helsing's "mistaken" bid could be influenced -- but both subtly enough to not make it totally obvious.

Besides, when it comes right down to it you take the easy kills where you can. Oz might be the main target overall, but we might have just been the easier target today.

Maybe. I didn't think about that. I guess I'm so caught up on each tribe having only one wolf. If there is one with multiple wolves, how many wolves are in the game?

Couldn't the Oz wolf have gotten the info out to both the Helsing wolf and the wolf in our tribe? Even if he couldn't have altered their bid, the wolves could have altered our bids and Helsing's.

The other thing to keep in mind was the reward. If they have a wolf or two that has influence in their tribe -- they get to influence which questions to ask!!

And they won that challenge by 20 points. That's a ton.

Started with 22 players. 4-5 wolves? I bet they have two.

Another I just thought of in regards to SnDvls (since he replaced Tyrith). Both Tyrith and ImTheCrew started off without tribes, which I found odd. Is it possible that they can both be wolves?

Another good point. I forgot about what the challenge was for (aside from immunity). You're starting to convince me here, path.

This is the one sticking point that I'm having trouble explaining to my satisfaction. (Well, I'm actually already convinced, but as far as addressing your questions ).

The short answer is I don't know why us and not Oz. It could be that Oz doesn't have a wolf, or that the wolf was busy with other stuff and didn't really know for sure where they were going today.

The other explanation that I like better is that by targeting the team that had not bid; the wolves on each team didn't have to be as obvious. Our team's wolf changes a thing or two, their team's wolf changes a thing or two.

This brings up the dirty little question that no one wants to ask: Who is our wolf, then?

I'm not sure yet. But it is definitely time to start going back through the thread. Luckily we have lots of time to do that.

I had hoped we were wolfless, because I really really really like our team.

well I will tell y'all something Ilearned in te last game. Blade kinda hammered this point home to us. In order to be effective as wolves, they must be leaders in thier groups. I think that might even be MORE important in this setting.

Actually for us, I think we're even more vulnerable because in my opinion we've been pretty majority driven. But your point is a valid one.

we have been majority driven... but does that make it easier or harder for the wolf to hide?

I think that we are probably a bit more likely than other teams to give everyone an equal voice. I think there are more type A personalities on the other teams then on ours.

Whether or not that's an advantage or disadvantage for a wolf I'm not sure.

I think it is an advantage to a wolve who might see us as easily swayed or could be the one who makes the majority. in our small number a majority is only really 2 more or less.

So ntn, what's your thought? Do we have a wolf in our midst?

By the way, just going back to this for a quick second. The one thing that stands out to me more than anything else and convinces me that it is not coincidence is this one:

Lower Fang -- not on their original. We bid $6, an odd amount. They bid $7.
I cannot buy that as coincidence.

probably. I could see a 2-1-1-0 possibility of wolf distribution. I do not think SnDvls or Imthe Crew are wolves.

That was the main reason isuggested to check each group to find out how many wolves per group. If we get one with this vote then everyone will know that the rest of us are not wolves and can go other ways...especially when we merge...since Barkeep has mentioned that posibility

I will say that any ideas I have about wolves in our quartet are not firm and are mercurial (sorry I like that word )

Actually, I think that was path that said that. Or maybe I did. It's late.

I'm going to look at yesterday's challenge again tomorrow to see why Oz did so poorly. I can see a wolf tanking their chances yesterday so he could have a shot at voting off the seer.

Do we have a problem with telling everyone how we voted in our tribal council? I don't see any harm in it, and if it can help flush out a wolf, I say let's do it.

Even though I know nothing about the Fast Break series, should we take that one? It doesn't even have a page, so it might be the easiest one to do.

I just bought FBCB last week since the demo for the new pro game kept crashing.....so I guess we can start there, but I'm by no means an expert on it.

I've got no problem with it either -- if it can help them find the wolf let's do it.
