From the beginning:
If there is a tie, then the NEXT vote from someone who hasn't voted yet, or the next person to switch their vote.. breaks the tie.

We're back to my basic problem... if hoops was converted in night 1, why was he still acting like an X-COM in day 2?
I don't see a whole lot of evidence about Neon. We've got Qwik fingering one of him and Blade; well, Blade turned out to be a baddie. CW was convinced that Blade wasn't the baddie that Qwik fingered... that could be true, but I'm having a hard time squaring the evidence with that, between the stated X-COM alien colors (I've been assuming that this is metadata that somebody who's been playing X-COM is expected to know) and the strong likelihood that Blade has been a baddie from the start. Everything after that is a mass of finger-pointing that has devolved into opposing camps.

Now, do I trust Qwikshot or not? He's an obvious candidate to have been turned last night, but there are more people I question on the Neon_Chaos side than on the Fouts side, plus I don't trust Fouts myself.

Home from work - it has been pretty stressful the last couple of days fighting traffic and worrying about some bombshell emerging while I'm on the road that invalidates all of the logic behind a vote.
This is by far the most quiet we have been at this juncture - wonder what Fozzie is saving for us? He seems to delight in the late-breaking news in these games. |

Swaggs and Digamma were both trying to use Quik as a reason for voting off Neon, yet Quik votes for Fouts. Hmmmm....

I am getting nervous here.
I was hoping for Qwik to confirm my thoughts here. Anything else to add before something big happens? |

Just this, Swaggs - there is no way the aliens converted both Qwik and King last night. Are you sure that you aren't being steered wrong by Digamma/Fouts? I really didn't think you were with those guys, but understand why you are voting your way if you are faithfully representing it on the board.

I think we should have a pretty clear direction after tonight, as long as we don't completely blow the game right now.

Wednesday, we have seen a lot of strange stuff so far this game. I don't know how to convince you that I have acted in our best interests every step of the way after the firestorm today. But if there were two-day conversions, then wouldn't the guy that was converted last night still be fighting his masters? Do you see anyone that fits that description when looking at the voting patterns? You seem to have the best data on that in the group.

Right now, I'm too fried to think about it, so I'll wait until later (assuming I survive the night). Plus, time's up.

Fouts:
Mr. Wedensday kingfc22 hoopsguy Neon_Chaos Raiders Army Qwikshot Neon_Chaos JeeberD Swaggs Digamma Fouts Vince As Fouts hears the last vote against him, he sinks down to his knees, trying to keep the tears from his eyes. "I just want to live.. see my family... just wanted to live..".. The Sonic Cannon drops out of the ceiling.. Fouts doesn't look up at the gun, even as he hears it track towards him......

All Hell Breaks Loose.
"COMPUTER, OVERRIDE CURRENT TARGETING PARAMATERS! AUTHORIZATION CDG ALPHA 976!" Swaggs yells.. Everybody's jaws drop as the Sonic Cannon turns AWAY from Fouts. "Override accepted. Alternate Target?" The computer states, calmly.. Swaggs points at hoopsguy, who is gawking at Swaggs. "Alternate Target is hoopsguy!" "Affirmative. Target Acquired.." And the Sonic Cannon turns to face hoopsguy. He starts to protest.. "But that's not FAI...." And the SOnic Cannon fires. Sending him flying into the wall, where hoopsguy lands with a heavy thud. There's a pause of a second or two.. then hoopsguy's whole body starts moving. Hints of something black and slimy inside starts to appear.. a black figure about half the size of Hoopsguy slithers out.. And the Sonic Cannon fires again. This time, the creature slumps to the ground... you hear a hissing sound.. as it looks like the skin the baby creature wore is being dissolved.. from the inside. No more then a minute later, all that's left of both hoopsguy's skin and the creature that inhabited him is a puddle of black ichor, hissing away as it attempts to eat away at the metal below. You all thought you were immune to shocks by this point. But you're all wrong. As you stare at the body, the computer speaks again. "Illegal Backdoor access identified, controlling X-Com weaponry in lockdown status. Rebooting core AI personality to remove backdoor code. Estimated time of core repair: 0430 hours.

Just woke up. I can't believe I skinned the cat AGAIN. I would have hoped that after yesterday I wouldn't be a target today, specially with the digamma-hoopsguy-raiders squabble.
All hells breaks loose indeed. Glad I'm not dead though. Looks like Swaggs has the 'duke' role. However, with hoopsguy turning out to be an alien, I'm going to be on the axe again... TOMMOROW. Great. Just great.

OOOOOOOkay. This was interesting. I go to my meeting
*Off-topic* Which by the way, I'm wearing a uniform that was fitted for me when I was 149 pounds, and I'm now 15 pounds heavier, so the whole thing sucked* and hoopsguy is an alien. Weird shit. Anyhow, I'm pounding some back since I held my beer gut in for about two hours and I'll review this stuff later. BTW, why did you want me to switch my vote Swaggs? To prove I was human or to save your special power? |

In case I die tonight (which would make sense since I "outted" myself), just want to review where my thoughts are for whoever is left.
These guys all voted for Neon Chaos today: JeeberD Swaggs Digamma Fouts Vince
I think that we should lynch Neon Chaos tomorrow because the pattern suggests that he may be able to convert again tomorrow night. We cannot let that happen. The results of his vote should be telling, unless the aliens are willing to sacrifice him. After that, whoever is left, we will needs to get rid of Raiders Army, unless we find conclusive proof that he is human. If we stay disciplined against Neon Chaos and Raiders Army and do not buy into any of their schemes, the remaining soldiers should be in excellent shape to save the world again. Good luck fellas! |
