Kennedy, MVP, 31 of 49, 426 and 1:0, Glenn was 10 for 148, 1 score, pick by Ferguson, No injuries! We finish the season with a bye and a 13-2-1 record!

The 2060 NFL Super Bowl
Can we win the first Bowl of the decade? With the 2060s be the decade of the Rattlesnakes like the 1970s were the Steelers and so forth? Today is where we (might) stake out claim! Your AFC Champion #4 Seed 9-7 Miami Dolphins Vs Your NFC Champion #1 Seed 13-2-1 Richmond Rattlesnakes This is a battle of my current team and an old team… They sell out to stop Londy and….we defeat them 36-23 under Kennedy Londy, 20 of 59 Kennedy, MVP, 20 of 35, 333 and 4:0 Scores by Reynolds, Londy, Linares and Moy INT by Sheldon Good win! However, we probably missed the quadfecta without the Super Bowl MVP for Londy… I doubt Kennedy did well enough for awards, but let’s find out!

Stats
Offensive Passing QB Kennedy – 343 of 527, 3984 yards, 31:12, 97.9 rating Down years in everything here. He was 7th in yards, first in TDs, 2nd in rating Rushing RB Londesbrough – 406 for 2054, 5.06 rating, 12 scores A great season! 2nd best in yards in the dynasty by any player, a great ypc total over 5.00 and his scores led the league! Receiving Resigning Glenn despite his cost doesn’t look so bad now! He got 1k more yards! I don’t know why Kennedy targeted him 31 more times than stud Watson…maybe he was single covered or something. Moy had a very down year in the receiving department, and Londy grabbed me 324 yards getting me 2.3k yards from scrimmage. Blocking We had a very good year with the blocking. Porter and Cone tied with 38 each which was pretty good and with a very good block %, good stuff. Doebert was right behind with 37 KRB and looking solid money, and rookie Mangold had 18 KRb from just 38 KRO and a great block %, although he was a sieve at the sacks. Good stuff lines! Special Teams K Kanpurwala – 37 of 43, Long of 54, 46 of 47 PAT The stud’s first All pro! 6 missed FGs and 1 PAT were great on the year! P Gonzalez – 77 punts, 47.9 avg, 32 in 20 Not bad! We had zero RET TDs Plumier led my team in special teams tackles with 27

Defense
Here are my defenders. Ferguson led the team in tackles but couldn’t manage triple digits while doing so. Troutman, who led my LBs last year in sacks led my team with 8.5 and is looking solid for the task. Carter was right behind with 8.0 sacks, which we need to improve upon for a stud like him. Snyder just 5.5 and that’s what we get from him. This was the first year in three years that Plumier wasn’t injured for a few games and….3.0 sacks? That’s not what you want to see. My defense needs to get better. All of my All Pros the last two years were Offense and Special Teams… Ferguson led my team with 4 FF. Pass Coverage Rookie Fox led my team with 4 picks and Ferguson needed 3 with Westbrook. We have to do better in pasdef. Massively so.

Team Awards
Off. Player of the Year – RB Stan Londesbrough – I really wanted to give this to OG Cone…but dude got 2k yards and league MVP so it’s hard not to give this to him. Def. Player of the Year – FS Percy Ferguson – Led my team in tackles, FF, and was 2nd in picks. Good stuff! Special Teams Player of the Year – K Cris Kanpurwala - Dude wins All Pro, dude wins this award… Rookie of the Year – S Axel Fox – This was also close to Mangold, but he was a sack sieve, but Fox led my team in pasdef and picks. Good stuff Axel! Heart Award – QB Rodolfo Joyner – In an injury game where he came in off the bench he finished 19 of 21, 284, and 3:2. Good stuff backup!

The 2061 NFL Offseason Hall of Fame None Retirements of Note Rattlesnakes None Bucs CB Zach Foreman – A stud CB we grabbed in the top ten and was our last top ten from the dynasty, finished with 3 Rings and 3 All Pros. Will he make the HOF? SLB Rex Madison – The studiest LB we’ve had in this dynasty. Five Time Def. Player of the Year, 3 Rings, tons of other awards. A shoe in for HOF Other Abe’s Boys OC Chandler Macias – A stud OC for both the Bucs and us. 3 Rings, 4 All Pros. Enough for HOF? Staff Draft We are looking for a new 4-3 DC. We pick 18th, Our DC Jordan Phillis is a 65 suitability and the best guy on the board. The top 4-3 is all the way back at 60 and there are three with 4-3 True Unders. Which one do I want? I hire 34 year old Brian Lucas, who is well rounded and likes the secondary. We make no other changes I massage my ticket prices Who’s ready for FA?

The 2061 NFL FA Period #1
I look at the draft first. There is a studly As Scouted FB we could grab back at the 1.32 spot. I interview 5 WRs, and the rest are D Backs. I sign my RFAs that I like. We have 4 UFAs and 3 RFAs I don’t sign. We have 46 players under their contract and 24 mill free for new players. I need to extend these key starters CB Westbrook – Wants 143 mill over 4 years. That’s a cap rise of 25 mill. Not now. TE Moy – 47 mill, 3 years, increase of 10 mill. I cut TE Sanford and free up 20 mil. I extend Moy. OT Bennett – Fresh off an All Pro season he wants 87 mill over 5 years. I’ll wait until post draft WR Watson – Wants 164 mil over 5 years. Increase of 18 mill this year. I do so. DE Snyder – Dropped to 56/56 and wants just 69 mill over 4 years to resign, cutting my cap by 12 mill. I hold off. I may cut him for the cash. I extend a few backups like Reynolds and K Kanpurwala Londy has dropped to 59/59, by the by. I have 14 mill in new deals on offer. Anyone in FA I may want to chase? Nope! I cut Willis who dropped to 27/27 – that’s frees up 4 mil. I’ll hold off until the end of the draft and see what I wind up with. We have 8 players left that would be UFAs next year if let go. Week 3 – McDonald signs with the Packers, Ramirez with the Bucs Week 5 – Kempthorne signs with the Seahawks Week 9 – TE Sanford signs with Chicago Ready for some drafting?

The 2061 NFL Amateur Draft
Drafting at the top spot? Green Bay! They are in a spiral this year. They snag QB Oliver Harmon which they hope will pull them out. Our pick arrives Who do I like? Fb Shaun Eastman, Super Stud, As Scouted, 2nd best player on the board SLB Cody Cutting – Top player on the board, looks pretty good, no interviews for LBs n this draft DT Hayden Montana – 3rd player on the board, looks solid, no interviews for DTs in this draft S Devante Riley – Top D Back on the board, As Scouted, not great bars There are three Des with a 5.8 rating on the board, I might be able to find a Snyder replacement here. DE Omar Johnstone is a pass rush specialist, and good at hitting, but weak at play d and run d. He’d be my first choice. Here’s the stud Fb I was targeting. Do I grab him or go somewhere else. Just because I moved to 4-3 doesn’t mean I should ignore them and SLB Cutting looks good. Here I’ll show you. He doesn’t look like Rex Madison but he could be my Andres Arellano. He’s also 66% developed compared to just 32% by my FB. He’s weak at play D and that’s it. He’s a player not a thinker. Here’s the DE I was talking about. Is he my new Snyder? What would you do?

I take FB Eastman because Londesbrough dropped and I need a better blocker at FB than my poor RBs. The best FB in the league is with a 69 pot, and he could easily be better if he holds… I know I have bad luck with my first rounders in this Richmond Run, but I need another weapon to help Londesbrough. He’s also more of a sure thing since I’ve interviewed him than the random Defensive folks.
2.32 – Is Johnstone still on the board? Nope he was taken. Wr Allen Samuels is okay but doesn’t amaze me. Is WR stll on the board as a good RET? FS Kaden Tucker? DE Carter Smith is solid against the run but only okay against the pass rush. But he seems like a solid addition to the team…Smith? He is one of the 5.8 Des I referred to above. I grab him. 3.32 – MLB Dwayne Webb looks solid. 4.32 – I like OT Javier Schwartz and I need some O Line depth. OT Jorge Hemond looks solid as well. I prefer Schwartz who seems like a nice grower. 5.32 – I need a 4th DT. How about Les Greene? This seems like a deep D Line draft so I want to get my backups and such while I can. 6.32 – I grab the top TE on the board, Siddeeq Chaplin. I need a 3rd one. 7.32 – Cb Troy Guzman? MLB Scott Barrett? Cb Cris Henry? I do Henry. Rookie Lookie #1 1.32 – FB Shawn Easton, Auburn, 46/83 2.32 – DE Carter Smith, Mississippi, 38/68 3.32 – MLB Dwayne Webb, NC State, 45/63 4.32 – OT Javier Schwartz, Baylor, 22/47 5.32 - DT Les Greene, Southern Methodist, 38/48 6.32 – TE Siddeeq Chaplin, Auburn, 28/42 7.32 – CB Cris Henry, Boston College, 23/47 There you are!

We have 51 people under contract. I make offers to… I make offers to… CB Troy Guzman MLB Scott Barrett WR Al Small OT Corwin Henselman DE Alfredo Barnes DE Amos Flowers I also make an offer to bring back horrible TE Carson Williamson and even though he’s a 39 pot, that’s much better than any TE in UFA. Week 1 – I sign two including Williamson Week 2 – I sign two mire Week 3 – The last three joins us UFAs CB Troy Guzman, 18/50 MLB Scott Barrett, 25/61 WR Al Small, 24/45 OT Corwin Henselman, 20/48 DE Alfredo Barnes, 17/58 DE Amos Flowers, 10/58 Good stuff! The 2061 NFL Preseason
I’ll start Smith at DE instead of Snyder to see what he can do in the preseason and then cut Snyder after is he holds. I’ll start Webb at MLB. And obviously since I have no FB for a year I’ll start Easton at FB. I have 58 so I hand out 12 deactives and massage my depth chart… I cut DE Arnie Tapp to give the veteran time to find another home and save myself 4 mill. OC Doebert has risen to 70/70. Week 2 – At Miami – We win 13-0. Week 3 – Denver – We win 26-24 Week 4 – Buffalo – We lose 29-23 Week 5 – At KC – We win 24-16 We finish 3-1 Rookie Lookie #3 1.32 – FB Shawn Easton, Auburn, 46/83; 51/82; 53/79 2.32 – DE Carter Smith, Mississippi, 38/68; 42/68; 44/68 3.32 – MLB Dwayne Webb, NC State, 45/63; 54/70; 61/81 4.32 – OT Javier Schwartz, Baylor, 22/47; 27/48; 25/55 5.32 - DT Les Greene, Southern Methodist, 38/48; 44/49; 44/61 6.32 – TE Siddeeq Chaplin, Auburn, 28/42; 31/43; 31/45 7.32 – CB Cris Henry, Boston College, 23/47; 26/44; 31/52 As you can see slight gains by Henry, Chaplain, Schwartz, and big gains by Greene and Webb. A slight fall off by Easton but not that much, and if he hits 79 he’ll be the best FB by 10. UFAs CB Troy Guzman, 18/50; 21/34; 21/28 MLB Scott Barrett, 25/61; 32/62; 33/64 WR Al Small, 24/45; 25/44; 25/38 OT Corwin Henselman, 20/48; 24/47; 25/51 DE Alfredo Barnes, 17/58; 21/57; 19/53 DE Amos Flowers, 10/58; 15/58; 15/57 I make these cuts: CB Troy Guzman DE Graham Snyder – I save 25 mill by cutting him in his final year. Good stuff! SLB Enrique Sheldon – Without a 3-4 I don’t need him or his salary, and I save 10 mill WR Ralph Borders

Who do I want to extend?
I now have 58 mill for Bennett and Westbrook. Bennett wants 128 mill over 5 years and Westbrook 143 mill over 4. I sign both. I extend Ferguson by two more years at the same 12/mill year I don’t extend any one else. I have 30 mill left. I have these players with 2 years left – OC Doebert, OG Cone, DE Carter, WLB Luciano, do I want so sign any of them? The best is probably Cone, with an All Pro, and he wants 77 mill, 5 years, and I do it, leaving me 20 mill, and I could do Doebert for 105 mill for 5 years, but I hold off in case I grab a stud OC in the draft next year. Carter 142 mill, 4 years, Luciano 86 mill, 4 years. Not right now either… Rookies? Let’s do three this time! Here’s my FB Eastman is a solid force, with adequate blitz pickup, good blocking and str, solid running and great power running, and then pretty good catching as well. Here’s my 2.32 pickup and as you can see he’s good at run blocking, okay at rushery, not great at coverage, and only okay at thinking and punching. I don’t I’ll keep him around post 5 years with a new deal, but you never know! You can have players that outplay what they look like… Ready for my boom? Webb here is my highest rookie by potential after booming all the way up to 81! Nice, right? Right! He’s great at everything save for pass rush strength. I like him way much!

On The Green Page we have…
Smith and Webb Rookie Investigation QB – The Qbs of talent had pots of 72, 69 and 59. FB – Easton was the best FB ,and the 5th best player at any position in the draft, behind Webb and three D Line. RB – There were three RBs more than 60+, but just one in the 50s. It was top heavy TE – Just one TE finished with more than 47 pot. OC – There was a stud 78/78 pot OC, and then… pretty much nothing. OG – We had one 75 pot, two in the 60s, 3 in the 50s, and that it – a light year for a normally dense position group. OT – 11 players in the 50s and 60s, DE Smith was the 3rd best DE in the draft, and the 6th best D Line – the best was an 51./82 DT, and there were two more D Line in the 80s, as well as two DT in the 70s and 6 in the 60s at D Lines and 11 more in the 50s. Deep like I said. DT Les Greene at 5.32 and 61 pot wound up at the 8th best DT. The DE I was looking at in the 1.32 spot wound up at 66, but is much better at rushing the passer than Smith. At LB, Webb is the best in the draft. Cutting wound up being 59/65 that we were looking at with the 1.32 spot. One LB is in the 70s, and 6 in the 60s, including UFA LB Barrett, who is th e7th best LB in the class. A DB we have one at 72, 5 in the 60s, and then a deep 13 in the 50s. Good stuff!

The 2061 NFL Regular Season
I predict another 13-3 season after two back to back 13 win seasons. Week 1 – At Chicago – Here is how much we’ve changed and come to dominate the previously powerful NFC North – we are favored by…TWENTY POINTS. Away. At Chicago. Who has four Super Bowls in our dynasty, inc. very recently… can we cover? Nope. We lose 14-27. Londy 79 yards and a score, rush score by Kennedy who was 21 of 35, 244 and 0:1. FF by DE Smith, Well we won’t go 16-0 this season! Week 2 – Cleveland – We barely win 27-25, Londy 95 yards, Kennedy 16 of 31, 228 and 3:0, Watson 6 for 106 and 2 score, Moy the other score, pick by rookie Webb, 3 pasdef by Westbrook, Week 3 – LA Rams – We win 20-9. Game MVP is Kennedy with 17 of 30, 189 and 2:0, Watson and Londy with scores, he was held to 49 yards, picks by Ferguson and DT Plumier, Week 4 – At Raleigh – We win 34-20. Kennedy, MVP, 29 of 36, 313, 3:0, Londy just 90 yards, scores by Watson, Moy and Reynolds, pick six by rookie MLB Webb, FF bY Plumier, re by Webb, 3 pasdef by Fox, We are 3-1 at the first quarter mark

Stats
Offensive Passing QB Kennedy – 358 of 555, 4069 yards, 31:11, 96.4 rating This was 2nd in yards, 1st in TDs, and 2nd in rating. Rushing – RB Londesbrough – 334 for 1427, 4.27 ypc, 9 scores He was 4th in rushing yards, tied for 5th in scores – this was a down year for him, clearly Receiving Watson led my team with 1204 yards, 100 grabs, and 12 scores. Good stuff! He was 3rd in yards and 1st in TDs. Londy added another 456 yards, much better than normal, and finished with more than 1900 yards from scrimmage. Moy has had better years frankly. The TEs were worse. Eastman was with 298 yards and 2 scores and rushed for a score as well. Glenn had a down year from 1k last year to 496 this one, although his targets dropped massively while Watson’s rose. Blocking This was not a good year for blocking, but Cone and Porter both did well. Mangold was placed on IR. Eastman added 6 KRB on 9 attempts and gave me a great block%, the best on my team. Good stuff Eastman! Special Teams K Kanpurwala – 27 of 33, Long of 52, 48 of 51 Too many missed PATs to make All Pro but just 6 missed FGs would be good with, say, 37 of 43. Not a stud year like I expect from him P Gonzalez – 80 punts, 48.2 avg,30 in 20 Okay. Not great Not bad. No KR/PR Ret TDs in the regular year, but one in the playoffs by Deyo Fox led my team with just 21 special teams tackles

Defense
Webb led my team with 111 tackles and Luciano just behind with 106. Webb notched 4 sacks, which was pretty good, with Luciano at 5.5 and leading my LBs. Carter added 11.5 sacks and lead my team. The most sacks in the NFL was 12.5, so he was 1 sack off the leader, and just 3 players were above him at 12.5 and 12.0. Just five players had double digits sacks this year. All Des. DE Smith just 5 sacks in his rookie year, but he’s not a sack-a-holic like others, as you might recall, and he’s a rookie too boot. Plumier disappointed with just 1.5 sacks. Smith led my team with 5 FF which led the league. Pass Coverage Rookie Webb led my team with 6 picks, which was tied for the most in the league, and he had 3 pick sixes and a solid 8 pasdef. Westbrook led my team with 16 pasdef, which was tied for 5th best, and the best was 21. Fox added 5 picks and 9 pasdef, also good. We were good in the picks this year!

Team Awards
Off. Player of the Year – QB Wayne Kennedy – Welcome back Wayne! He had a better this year in many different angles than before and regained his All Pro form. Good stuff! Def. Player of the Year – MLB Dwayne Webb – What can you say that hasn’t been said about this 3.32 pick? He led my team in picks, tackles, pick sixes, rocked 8 pasdef and 4 sacks. Nasty! I haven’t had an Def. Rookie of the Year and Def. Player of the Year since Rex Madison, and he was the only one to do so. Is Webb my new Madison, or is he just a flash in the pan? Special Teams Player of the Year – K Cris Kanpurwala – MVP in a playoff game, had an okay year, but we need better Cris! Rookie of the Year – FB Shaun Eastman – Got All Pro in his debut season! Nice stuff rookie! Heart Award – DT Pat Kennedy – Backup DT Kennedy is a run D specialist who only starts in goal line formations, and has… 0 pass rush technique… and despite that he grabbed me 3.5 sacks in rotations. Good stuff!

The 2062 NFL Offseason Hall of Fame None of ours make it Retirements of Note Rattlesnakes? Our SC retires Bucs? QB Alejandro Abrams, our star QB has retired. He had 3 Rings, 4 All Pros and 2 league MVPs. HOF? Probable. OT Randy Blair – 2049 pick in the 2nd round, great OT, 3 Rings and 4 All Pros. Enough for HOF? We’ll see. TE Darnell Riley, 2nd round pick in 2051, 3 Rings, no league honors SS Antonio Grembowski – 3rd round pick in 2051, played for Bucs and Snakes. 2 rIngs, 1 All Pro. HOF unlikely. CB Roderick Hutchins – Great CB for the Bucs, 4th round, 2052, 3 Rings, 1 All Pro. HOF unlikely as well. Other Abe’s Boys K Rickey Poston – 2 Rings, 5 All Pros, stud K. HOF? Who knows with Ks? SLB Hugh Sellars – undrafted pickup by Tampa Bay in 2051, 3 Rings, no awards Staff Draft We pick 20th. I hire a new SC with a 73 suitability Hayden Meadows, 34 years old I’ll see you at the FA moment. I have a rough cap coming up, so no franchise tags are forthcoming.

The 2062 NFL FA Period #1, Part One
So let’s talk about my cap first before looking at the draft. We have 40 under contract, 3 UFAs – DT Kennedy, LB Woodson and C Bissett, and 10 RFAs. Before signing RFAs, I have 17.5 mill in cap space and I need all but 1.8 mill for my draftees. I could skip signing RFAs, make no changes to my cap, and then draft and rookie UFAs and move on. Several of these RFAs like WR Small and RB Denny I could skip, but most are in the 50s and 60s and I’d like to keep them where possible, which will cost me some cash. And many of these, like Hocking, are going to want more than 1.52 that someone like DE Turner wants. In their last year of their deal of note OG Porter – 9th year vet, 76/76, wants 40 mill over 3 years which would cut the cap hit by 5 mill. Or I could cut Porter and save 16.6 mill, which should be enough for my RFAs. My next best OG would be…22/48 Tristan Manula, but I could try find a sub in the draft. I extend QB Joyner and save 200k, LS and P and get another 300k CB Terry – Was my nickelback, will let him go – I would save 7.2 mill by letting him go RB Londesbrough – 7th year, has fallen to 50/50, and his cap hit is a lot. Cut Londy and you free up…29.7 mill alone. Resign for 84 mill over 4 years and you save 15 mill on this year’s cap. WR Glenn – 55 mill, 4 years, drop in cap of 2.3 WR Reynolds – 41 mill, 4 years, increase in cap of 1.5 mill WR Deyo – 20 mill, 3 years, basically the same Remember Deyo and Reynolds are my two main RETs LB Troutman – 14 mill, 3 years, drop in cost by 1.8 mill, if I cut I’d save 5.5 mill C Doebert – 109 mill, 5 years, increase of 13 mill DE Carter – 94 mill, 4 years, increase of 16.1 mill WLB Luciano – 81 mill, 4 years, increase of 13.8 mill And that’s everyone in their last year that won’t be an RFA next year. That’s…a lot of folks! I’m not sure what I want to do so I head to the draft first. We pick 1.30. Who do I like? I interview talent that might fall. There are two stud OCs. Will one fall to us at 1.30? If so I could grab a replacement for Doebert and then save his cost. I interview some OGs as well for Porter replacements. I interview the 3rd -5th RBs in case one falls as a Londy replacement. I also interview some d backs…

Part Two
Now what will I do? I need to make a decision now in FA to sign my RFAs. And the best way to do that? Cut Londy… I cut Londy and sign all of my RFAs save for the mentioned above. RT Henselman won’t sign with me due to complaints about playing time. I have 46 players under contract and 19 mill left for players not named rookies. I hold off on my others with the idea that I could draft a replacement for many of these from Doebert to Porter to Glenn. Let’s move forward Do I want to chase any UFAs? Nope Week 3 – Kennedy heads to New Orleans Week 5 – Barlow signs with Atlanta Week 9 – Londy signs with DC Week 10 – Bissett heads to the NY Jets Ready for some drafting fun times?

The 2062 NFL Amateur Draft
Picking at the top spot is New Orleans they grab… QB Sergio Gammell. I fast forward 29 picks and ours arrives at the 1.30 spot. Who do I like? OC Seth Richmond – As Scouted – One stud OC is still on the board. I could grab him and then not pay to extend Doebert if Richmond survives the draft looking as good as we suspect he would. Here my primary target at the 1.30, and as you can see, I did not overemphasize his power and studliness. I like him a lot. Who else has fallen? I need players at OG, RB, CB, and others. Did any of them fall? I could also take a WR for Glenn in this draft and then cut him as well. (Or just let him run out his deal if that’s the best I can do). If I can find a WR that’s better than Deyo at catching and just as good at KR than I can dump him as well. Ditto Reynolds and PR. So who else is left here? OG Francisco Stokes – As Scouted, weak endurance, but very nice elsewhere. WR Griffin Watkins – The 2nd best WR on the board, looks to have solid KR stills and okay receiving. Could he be my new Reynolds? If he comes to play how he looks, my guess is he’d wind up in the 50s as a WR, right around Reynolds. SLB Kenneth Ashcroft – My top overall player on the board, okay bars, no interview for LBs SS Antoine Kinney – Very nice bars for 1.30, very overrated SS Roberto Herrington – Not as good bars as Kinney, no interviews All of the RBs I interviewed are off the board. Let me show you Stokes as well as I could do either here As you can see from looking at Stokes, he’s a fine 1.30 OG that would play nicely for me. Who would you go with? OC? OG? Or someone else?

Hm…..
I’m not sure, so let me talk it out a bit. Reasons for C Richmond – He’s better than OG Stokes. He’s a bigger improvement on current OC who’s 67/67 over OG Porter that’s 76/76. If he develops as he looks, then he’d be a potential All Pro C, rather then Doebert. Reasons of OG Stokes – Current OG Porter is in the final year of his deal, is a 9th year vet who’s 30 and would likely start to drop in ability soon. OG is a bigger spot of need than OC for that reason. If I cut Porter I save money I can use for extensions this year. Finding a starter at OC is easier than one at OG who is as good as Stokes appears. Doebert was a 7th rounder, as a good example. Others? I have solid players at OC and OG and these aren’t really as much needs as, say, RB. Should I take a reach at RB here? Hmmm…. I take Stokes. OG is the biggest need I have here and Porter appears heading for a no-extension given cost and age. It’s harder for me to get a quality OG and there have been times I have searched for years before finding one. 2.30 – I need a RB badly. I take the best one on the board - Lester Brookins. 3.30 – Is WLB Kendall Raffo on the board? I liked him. SS Bryce Horn is a good PR SS on the board. Raffo was taken at the 2.26 spot. Ah well. I do Horn. 4.30 – WR Mel Brock? I need a 5th WR and he’s the best on the board. DE Alston looks pretty sexy as well. I like Brock. 5.30 – Is CB Tre Slusher still on the board? I like him. I also like OC Harold Keller who might be able to spell Doebert. I go….OC 6.30 – Hmm… OG Myles Hoover? Yup! 7.30 – OT Geoff Nichols? SS Wendell Hopper? I take Nichols. Rookie Lookie #1 1.30 – OG Francisco Strokes, Arizona State, 33/70 2.30 – RB Lester Brookins, Notre Dame, 45/55 3.30 – SS Bryce Horn, Miami, FL, 43/54 4.30 – WR Mel Brock, Indiana, 28/51 5.30 – OC Harold Keller, Fort Lewis, 23/62 6.30 – OG Myles Hoover, Georgetown, 14/51 7.30 – OT Geoff Nichols, Arizona, 6/51 There you go! This was a draft without any projects or expected growers. They are all showers. Will they fade? Or hold?

The 2062 NFL Preseason
I hand out 10 rests and make my depth chart. I’ll start Keller and Stokes and Brookins and Horn. I cut OG Jeffery Porter as I don’t want him to drop in ability due to not starting in the preseason as often happens for older players. I respect him too much. Week 2 – NY Jets – We win 36-9 Week 3 – At LA Chargers – We win 28-17 Week 4 – Buffalo – We win 51-22. Ouch Week 5 – Denver - We lose 17-19 We finish 3-1 Rookie Lookie #3 1.30 – OG Francisco Stokes, Arizona State, 33/70; 40/70; 40/71 2.30 – RB Lester Brookins, Notre Dame, 45/55; 48/56; 50/60 3.30 – SS Bryce Horn, Miami, FL, 33/54; 37/55; 37/52 4.30 – WR Mel Brock, Indiana, 28/51; 31/51; 35/51 5.30 – OC Harold Keller, Fort Lewis, 23/62; 27/60; 29/61 6.30 – OG Myles Hoover, Georgetown, 14/51; 18/50; 19/48 7.30 – OT Geoff Nichols, Arizona, 6/51; 10/50; 10/47 UFAs WR Weston Hudson, 26/49; 30/49; 32/53 RB Joseph Spencer, 27/36; 30/36; 30/36 SLB Marco Galloway, 19/51; 23/48; 22/43 I swap Keller and Doebert back. I cut these players to get to 53 LB Marco Galloway CB Avery Terry – dropped to 37/37 saves me some cash

Extensions…
I make offers to these players: DE Carter WLB Luciano SLB Troutman Doebert rose to 71/71…do I want to extend him? He only wants 61 mill for 4 years. I do so. I also skip Glenn, Reynolds, Deyo, and others. I have 8 mill open for folks. My two rookies? Sure! Here’s Stokes! He’s pretty solid, right? Just bad in that endurance. Of all of my rookies, this is the one I’d hoped would boom the most, and he did to 60/60. He’s not a stud inside or breakaway, but he’s good at other running stuff. He’s not good at the catching so he’s really just a runner.

On the Green Page?
Brookins is the penultimate listing Rookie Investigation At QB it was a 0 player draft, with the top QB having a 47 pot… At RB, Brookins is 3rd best, and there is a a player with 72 pot top and another above us with 65 pot. There are 4 in the 50s. Brookins was the best value and lowest drafted of the 50+ bodies. At WR, this was top heavy with three players 60+ and then just 3 in the 50s, and we have two of those on our roster. FB? There’s a 69 pot guy grabbed in the 4th round. TE Cook has a 74 pot and looks nasty. One TE was at 55 pot and that’s it for 50+ TEs. C Richmond would have been the best O Line in the draft had we taken him, and finished with a 82 pot. Our C was third with the Cs Stokes was the second best OG and the best was still on the board when we took him, and would up going 1.32 to the Bills and has a 74 pot. At D Line we had two in the 70s, six in the 60s, and eleven in the 50s, so this was another deep draft for D Line, but we already got our guys last draft. At LB, we had two in the 70s, two in the 60s, and five in the 50s,so this was weaker than Dline At D Back, we had two 70s again, four 60s and ten 50s. One of the 70s was on the board at 1.3) a S we looked at as well, with the betters bars but no interview. Had I known he was going to wind up 72 pot? I would have grabbed him all day long! Ah well Good stuff!

Stats Offensive Passing QB Kennedy – 351 of 533, 3856 yards, 28:4, 102.0 Dude got his picks down and looked good elsewhere. He was 3rd in yards, top in rating, top in TDs, fewest picks among 16 game starters. Good stuff! Rushing RB Brookins – 385 for 1780 yards, 4.62 ypc, 11 scores. We had a RB set the season record for yards with 2117. Brookins was 2nd in yards and scores. However, you’ll see why he got All Pro and league MVP in a moment… Receiving Rookie Brookins led my team with 808 yards on 82 grabs and added 2 scores. He finished with more than 2500 yards from scrimmage! Watson just notched 665 yards, a very down year for my stud and star. How 75 targets came his way is bizzare, but I’m not the coach… You see the weapon Eastman has become with 6 scores and 422 yards. Nasty! He dominated FBs in receiving by hundreds of yards and score above the next. Moy a down year as well. Blocking OT Mangold led my team in KRB, a very unusual situation for OTs. Despite his drop in ability due to his broken back he still played well with a couple of pancakes and 5 sacks allowed. We had some injuries on the line but managed to play well none the less. My team had tons of great blocking % above 40. Rookie Stokes notched 22 KRB, and 4 sacks allowed. Special Teams K Kanpurwala – 43 of 48, Long of 53, 46 of 48 PAT Just 5 missed kicks from almost 50 FGs? Good stuff kicker! P Gonzalez – 78 punts, 49.8 avg, 44 in 20 Nasty year by my P, I continue to be surprised he hasn’t gotten a All Pro! More than have punts in 20? Longest avg in the league? WR Deyo – 1 KR RET TD, Fox led my team in special teams tackles with 28
