I was a bit surprised they didn't night kill you though, Mauboy. I thought once they read the cellar thread, assuming there's a wolf down there, they would kill you to get the book. Reasons why not? Perhaps they just don't have a kill tonight. Perhaps they did this switcheroo and figured they had a good chance of ending up with the book that way.

I think if any of us have the book we should keep it quiet, it really seems like this was a random switcheroo for everyone's inventories. If it's true that there was a record of mau having the book in one of the threads, at least now they have no idea where it is. Unless one of them has it.. but we have to hope that isn't the case.

Mau did you get any indication of what should be done with the book? I feel like even if we have the book and the parchments all in the same room we still won't know wtf we're supposed to do with it. And I would guess that randomly reciting things out of the book would lead to bad things.

THere could be a number of reasons as you've already mentioned.. another would be that they knew that if I died, it's going to drop where I am. If there isn't a wolf in the room they aren't going to kill me.

I dunno, I guess I thought the majority of the people would be staying down to collect on J23's belongings or something - so most of the chatter will be down there again tomorrow. I'll stay if it's best that I do.

I'm worried that the whole downstairs will come upstairs, and it would be good to get everyone in one room. If we all go down there, and then they call come up here, we can't really get together and strategize on anything.

I think we should all either stay here or go there. You may be right that if they're voting J23 down there people may be staying to investigate his corpse.

Just so no one calls shenanigans, if Mauboy's heading down there alone I'm going with him. I would like everyone to either go one way or the other, but while I trust Mauboy, I'm not crazy about anyone heading down there alone, particularly since a wolf would know what a wolf J23 was carrying on him.

All right, I'm going to go with Mauboy. I will come back up tomorrow. I don't want him going down by himself, and with no weapons. If J23 is a bad guy I can help hack him up. I'm also interested to see what the folks were up to today down there. I feel good about Mauboy, he revealed to me that he had the book when he didn't have to, which I can't see a wolf doing. But I don't like the idea of leaving anybody alone at this point, ro safety or paranoia.

It revs and the images of others appear. You all decide together. You hear screams, then you sswat at the images once, and then twice, and then one final time and leave the blade there. You feel weird. YOu hold the blade there. Green goo drips from the walls aat you. Then blue goo spews and some of you slide and trip, then orange, then black. It knocks you off your feet. The chainsaw lands right next to your head. It is held up again and the pressure of something is felt. Then the images go away. You are covered in a rainbow of flavors.

Those rainbows of flavors came from J23. He was on the side of evil. Bholly is also dead, he was human. Before Bholly died he shot Zintos evil hand off. It now gets its own vote as does Zinto.

Zinto + hand voted J23. I was all over the place but J23 was on Jackal. I ended up convincing J23 to switch his vote last second to Zinto and then I promptly voted J23. Feel pretty good out it now all things considered.

It is quiet. Very quiet. Even the clock holds its breath. THen suddenly the whole cabin shakes. Like the roof is being pounded on. Through the window you see tree bark. Huge tree trunks. The trees themselves have manifested the flesh of the evil and are pounding on the cabin. You board up everything you can. The door explodes open and Mr Bug rolls in and shuts it behind him.

While they weren't there specifically, both Danny and DV were mentioned. DV supposedly voted to investigate the cabin, but in the same post, the trees were voting for all humans. Nothing further was mentioned on Danny, but I would assume he is no longer "with us" in one way or another. Either dead or a bad, bad guy. I would assume he is part of the trees?
