Took a bit of catching up. but I'm in.

Unjail Lathum

I'm not ready to lynch GE, nor necessarilly let him out of jail tonight.

I'm not ready to get rid of Saldana yet either, but I don't think I have time to check out what he's talking about before the Deadline either. I am concerned about leaving Lathum in jail. Saldana, what are you up to?

I wouldn't be opposed to jailing spleen.

I understand what you are saying, but need to read some more on that to see if it would really hurt us or even if it adds trust.

So, do we have to lynch someone?

If not, I would prefer holding tight and keeping everyone around for another night.

I guess I'll leave my speculation about jailing folks until later. For now do we have a count on the lynch vote?

I want to know if I'd make or break the difference for GE.

After I am killed and proven to be innocent, I would look real hard at your so called sheriff. He has had a chance to free me and has not. That is going to look suspicious on his hands.

Anyways, you guys are making a major mistake I have some powers that can really help the townspeople. The blood is going to be on all of oyur hands.

Spleen, I can put one together if we need it but I'm pretty sure that GE has at least 12 votes at this point. Saldana is nowhere close to being voted out of office. And I have no clue, off the top of my head, where the jail votes stand.

Right now the count is at 12, so no you do not make a difference.

Jail spleen

He is the only one I feel deserves to go into the jail at his point.

Unjail GoldenEagle

This should be obvious.

There are a few people I'm suspicious of. Just because I strongly differ on people's interpretation of things.

Also, I believe we should free Lathum, and skip the "requirement" to have three people in jail at all times.

You are unsure because no one has any concrete evidence that says I am a cowboy What you have here is a case of power hungry people who just must make a lynch tonight of an innocent man.

All I am asking for is a chance. Give me a chance and I can assure you I will be out of jail in the morning and helping the townfolk.

In terms of three in jail - I think it is probably preferred but I would rather use jail as a holding area to "test" people than as a storage locker or some kind of protective custody (except perhaps in extreme cases). If we feel like we have obtained good information on a player, and are comfortable with their loyalties, then there is not really a good reason to keep them in jail.

I'd like to give you a chance, but it doesn't look like that is in the cards. If anything I'm more suspicious of the folks forcing a lynch. Maybe that is just because I am new to this game.

Post #739 still holds in terms of votes - there are twelve lynch votes on GE. It would take two unvotes to keep him alive and put a decision before Saldana.

It would take a massive rush of votes to hang Lathum at this stage of the day.

GE, are you saying we should not lynch anyone until we have concrete evidence they are a cowboy?

Since you are about to be lynched, what is your special power that we should save?

Yes I have a gun. I am also pretty good with that gun. I am the retired sheriff, so you can imagine that I would be very handy with that.

Just do not lynch me and leave me in jail. That is fine with me.

It is an option by not voting greater than 50% to lynch. But Swaggs, why do you think that is a good route?

Good going guys. The cowboys won a major victory tonight. At the very least maybe this will change the way how things are done around here. Personally, I am done playing WW for awhile.

Good luck, cowboys.

This game reminds me of the game Tanglewood ran where there were a ton of roles. I was initially in favor of getting someone in jail and lynching, but for now I think there will be plenty of information (and disinformation available), so I'm not sure we should kill someone.

My role was the retired sheriff. I had a gun and was real good with it. I could put in jail or remove anyone from jail every three days. My action would override the current sheriff's action. So I could have been used to keep the current sheriff in line if he was corrupt (which could very well be the case now, IMO). But oh well, only have yoursevles to blame for this one.

As the day proceeds, people start getting some ropes together for a hangin. The townspeople debate back and forth and at the beginning of the day there seemed to be alot of support for people to lynch Lathum. After a few people raised concerns about that choice people changed their focus on Goldeneagle instead. For the majority of the day he stands in his cell hearing the insults hurled his way but he just remains quiet and takes them. Just before the end of the day Goldeneagle protests strongly to his lynching but remains unheard. Finally the clock strikes and Saldana announces to have Goldeneagle brought forward and a rope strung up.

Just before Goldeneagle's head is placed into the rope, Swaggs walks up the stairs and pulls Saldana to the side briefly. After talking a few minutes in private, Saldana comes back and announces that there will be no lynching today and for everyone to head along and mind their own business.

election votes: (11 votes needed for new sheriff)

(1) Anxiety - St.cronin (731)

lynch votes: (11 votes needed for lynch)
