There is a noble about to fall into a well. Probably. But, hey, go ahead and vote to jail him. Fewer points for your faction. Unless you're an assasin. To clarify: I am reasonably sure that he's in my faction. It's possible he's a fast-talker, and almost certainly the assasins have hit one or two of those already. |

Cronin, I certainly did not see a trigger on Day 1 that I thought linked you with Grey. Very interesting, as it would imply your faction is larger than I had suspected.

-I think executing somebody will tell us alot about how many factions there are and how many people could be in them.
-Is there a better candidate than Qwik? I haven't seen anything that tells me he is linked with anyone else. -I think assassins benefit from keeping the number of factions and how we are doing, in regards to points, hidden from view. *Therefore, I do not trust anyone voting for a stay of execution. |

Another thought on Cronin's thinking there are too many people in his faction - could be a case where the bad guys got the correspondence.
Cronin, did you identify most of these people on Day 1? I know you had talked about up to five people possibly being in your faction, just do not recall the exact timing on it. |

I'm very interested in seeing the numbers - I would expect we should be able to quickly deduce the allegiance of Qwikshot with them and then go from there ...
In some respects, I think the game really begins at that point. |

Blade, I take it you had no real stake in the Grey/LSG showdown today? No suspected faction allegiances - given that you moved your vote off at the end as King arrived and basically took your place.

The only stake i had was that my faction leaders said go for grey. I dont think he is the sneaky noble, so i assume it was a guess(which im willing to go against). I also think a tie will tell me much more about the other factions and their leaders, which is beneficial to my group. So no, i dont believe grey is in my faction, and LSG has been to quiet for me to know. I dont think im losing a teamate, and i think i am gaining some interesting info on who the faction leaders are.

I really doubt that's the issue. e.g. for greyroofoo, I don't recall playing with him before, and he's been relatively quiet the whole game.

So I get a message from my leader and as I look back through the day, I did not see anybody do what was asked. I know 2 people that are for certain in my group from actions on previous days, but I wonder if we have a 4th member or not.

The day ends. Qwik is led from his cell and he is not going peacefully. Where he wouldn't say anything in his defense suddenly he is full of invective. He even goes so far as to spit into the crowd of Nobles who have gathered to watch justice be dispensed. The executioner makes quick work with his axe and Qwik is sent to another world. A search of his quarters reveals several weapons. There can be no doubt Qwik was an assassin.
Quote:
Final Tally: Execute 9 - lonestar, brian, real, fouts, mr. wednesday, sndvls, blade, hoops, King No Execute 5 - lathum, st.cronin, chief, anxiety, NTN No votes: bullet, grey, wvu As for the jail vote it is hotly contested. In the end it is decided that there is slightly more conviction to send Lonestar to jail. So the sole remaining woman is shipped off to spend the night in jail. Hopefully things will not be a reversal of the situation of what happened when bullet was the occupant of the jail. Quote:
Lonestar 5 - hoops, brian, Cronin, chief, MrW Grey 5 - anxiety, NTN, Fouts, LSG, King King 3 - lathum, real, sndvls, Cronin 1 - Blade NO votes - bullet, grey, wvu The crowd, waiting in the city outside, upon hearing that one of the Assassins has been found lets up an enormous cheer. It has seemed clear to those that were watching carefully that five factions have been formed. They were named simply A, B, C, D, and E. The points each faction has recieved is seen as: Faction A 9.5 Faction B 4.5 Faction C 2.5 Faction D 7 Faction E 4.5 The crowd seems pleased and the expectations have been raised high. It is announced that 22 points will currently be needed, though this number may drop as the days go on, to crown a king. On the other hand negative 18 points from the assassins would be needed to cause a revolt. Last edited by Barkeep49 : 09-28-2006 at 10:27 PM. |

Good start. Time to break out the calculator.
Four factions of nobles, one faction of assassins. 4x4 with 3 assassins? Any chance of unbalanced squads? |

Going to guess that one of the votes for LSG was a faction leader.
