Actually I was thinking more along the lines of, the following is our bid layout............................................Go ahead and post what you want and then we can say something like it may be real or it may not.

Of course throwing something out in the thread last minute or with about an hour to go as if it were our real bid accidantally posted, etc. would be a good idea. Then everyone would spend time trying to make adjustments. And all of us would have to leave the thread and stay out as if we did an "oh crap" and are trying to fix.

Then we just need to decide what to bait in the thread and do we want to make it real close to what we really do or very different.

I doubt you want it close to what we really do. Otherwise you could end up shooting yourself in the foot. I would say whatever strat we end up with, we post the exact opposite.

When I say exact opposite, I mean something completely unrelated. LIke 5 dollars spread out over random things or whatever

this was my thought. come up with a fake bid that overbids some of the higher point locations and maybe get other tribes to alter their bids

I wonder if this ploy would get other tribes to post their bids?

BK, what happens in the case of a tie bid between two or more teams? Does one team get all the points or do we split them??

Any item there is a tie for gets split between the teams tying. So a 10 point item that 2 teams tie on a bid for, gets split 5 points each team.

yes I'll have a list of bids.

do I really need to read all 16 pages here? I've skimmed the last few.

Up to you. most of our conversation has been in regards to how to handle challenges. We havent gone to tribal council yet, and havent had any rewards to divy out. So no real times where we have had any chances to see if any wolves have infiltrated our ranks, or even to form judgements.

Pretty much we've been just discussing team strategies and rolling along as a team.

I only ask because 36 pages to read (19 in the main one and 16 here plus as people keep posting it gets bigger ) I just wanted to know if I need to really catch something of if I could just jump in at this point.

thanks looks like I should give a good glance of the main one and a quick page by page glance here

I think we should ignore Swaggs -- I think it's just a ruse. Someone check the post counts in that other thread -- if he's been posting a lot in there, maybe it's something he and Blade dreamed up.

(i'm just kidding)

Okay, Lupus is uber annoying right now. I think we need to steal their thunder with our fake announcement. Maybe not now, since Swaggs is leaving soon, but if/when he comes back?

I am staying away from the whole swaggs nonsense for now. All it is creating is alot of clutter. If he was trying to be helpfull he would be answering the questions with the original in quotes.

he answered some questions by quoting them. I know he responded to one of mine that way.

Part of me wonders how much of this is just an act that either Swaggs, wolves or Lupus set up.

I have a question as I'm catching up

how many tribal councils have there been?
I see only two people voted off, but it seems from the same night and from the general thread there should have been another one last night.

did I miss something?

The first few days have moved a bit slow. Its been alternating between immunity challenges and reward challenges. We're just now getting to the point where they are combined I guess.

So first immunity challenge, both Howard and Lupus went to tribal council. Lonestargirl was voted off from Howard and Chief Rum from Lupus.

Yesterday was the second immunity challenge which we won. Lupus and Oz are going to tribal council today. Both teams have to vote someone off tonight by 10pm

Looks fine to me. I would just leave it simple as that and then leave the thread until after deadline. People might not buy it, but it will be funny hopefully

Apologies if my bid doesn't come in at exactly 3, but I've already worked out what it's going to be and I give you my word of honor that I won't alter it if I accidentally catch a glimpse of someone else's.

Alan, Excel to board should come out perfectly if you have the WYSIWYG editor, now that HTML is turned on.
