The O/U dropped to 19.5 at half time and everyone was like, "Still take the under!"

Was looking pretty bleak for Coastal Carolina today-started their #3 QB, a freshman-he wasn't very impressive in the first half, with just 80 yards passing and then a 3rd Quarter INT lead to an Old Dominion touchdown, and looked like the game was out of reach at 21-6, but the freshman responded in the next series, running 75 yards for a TD.

That sparked the team and they were tied until a late ODU FG. But with less than 2 minutes left, the freshman drove 75 yards and threw a game winning TD with 23 seconds left. Crazy finish. Freshman had 170 yards rushing for the game and a 180 yards passing.

Iowa - Northwestern was the 7th highest scoring game at Wrigley Field this year.

The other 6 were Cubs games.

Oklahoma St. beats Oklahoma 27-24 and as the fans stormed the field, played “We’re never ever, ever getting back together” & “Happy trails to you” at the final Bedlam game.

How much does this Miami coaching staff hate Emory Williams?

That TD by USC was amazing. What a fresh take on the typical flea flicker.

Please get TVD out of there. I just don't understand how they can keep playing him at this point.

Odds are that team can't pass block, so they'll need the mobility.

It looked like a high hit/hit to the head/neck area at a minimum, if not targeting.

USC might have the worst defense of any team to become bowl eligible in the history of college FB. And with a Heisman winner on the roster, no less

Usually you talk about yards after contact. Well, UW's RB has 256 yards on 26 carries, 199 yards BEFORE contact.

Simply unbelievable.

NC State didn't play well at all, but they're going to walk away with a victory because Miami's coaching staff refused to put in a competent QB.

That was the most pleasant WVU game I have been to in years.

Also, BYU fans were really, really great. I think today was probably the most visiting fans I can remember seeing and they were super nice.

I missed the Jimbo Fisher discussion from earlier in the season. I just saw a clip of him from this weekend in which he said that his team has the talent to win a title. It was not clear if he meant a division, conference or national title. At this point the school just forcing him to stay on the sidelines against his will, right?

I don't know, I don't really buy the Michigan State angle. I think it's much more likely that an anti-veteran person was responsible. Those anti-veteran folks are everywhere!

Also, he bought that house for $500k with a salary of $55k? No way that house is worth half that much, it looks like it's about to collapse. And what the hell is wrong with the lending market? There's no way a single guy can afford that mortgage on that salary. Is the market about to collapse again or are we just way too frugal?

I can't address the mortgage part but the price of the house seems on par with what I see elsewhere.

I mean, the Ann Arbor market has to be a little more upscale than my exurban (still virtually rural) hometown in north Georgia ... but I found a smaller house there that looked to be similar/worse condition going for $241/sq ft (twitter had the final sale stuff on Stallions place which went for $171/sq ft)

He got a sub-Prime mortgage.

Not exactly sure where this goes, but I see that the University of Arizona miscalculated its cash on hand and just recently realized they were off by $240 MILLION and only have COH for about 97 days. There is a LOT of talk about draconian cuts required and many people looking at the athletic department. No way FB is directly affected, but they are talking cutting sports programs as part of the fix.

What's the point of having a billion dollar endowment except for something like this?

Is UofA lying about how well-endowed they are as well?

I hate to say that this was planned all along buuuuut ... "We have 23 sports programs, the B10 average is only 17" sure feels like an answer they already had handy.

As I understand it, only required minimum distributions are actually used from endowments. They are mostly used as a fundraising tool and are not liquid.

Not all of an endowment is accessible. Restricted funds have to be spent on things they were marked for. Unrestricted funds can go anywhere, but most endowments have the bulk of their money in restricted funds.

Seriously. Connor Stalions is a god damned Marine (there are no ex-Marines) and nobody is respecting him or his word. He has made everything clear. This investigation should be over! The case closed.

This whole thing is so stupid.

Someone on Reddit was talking about a pretty badly written Michigan support piece by saying we would all feel the same way if it were our team. My response was:
"I love my team, but all I would feel if this were Georgia is shame. Shame and anger that they would cheat so stupidly. I'm not naive. There is probably a scandal coming someday about something. I just hope it isn't one this level of blatantly stupid."

The Big 10 is suspending Harbaugh from being on the sidelines for the remainder of the regular season.

I honestly can't see Harbaugh staying at Michigan. He's not getting fired, but those NFL openings will look really good this offseason.
