Ok I think cronin is the best thing we have going. I'm not too pleased with bek nor with tangle nor with schmidty. But I agree that there's a chance that cronin is trying to signal the other necros about the odds. But then again so could have saldana. Anyhow for now I'm not so upset to

Gah, now I'm conflicted. The logic behind cronin trying to send a message is good, and it would be such a sweet move if it worked...but it's thin. And he's also right to a degree; we would be really weirded out too if we had a kill. The bek kill is weak, and I don't think we have a better than random chance of getting a necro with him...it's almost worth it to me now.

That's a genuine question there. I don't follow the logic of cronin and now tyrith.

Maybe instead St.cronin is not hinting at what should come tonight, but instead at what happened last night? I will go back and reread what happens if a nec attacks a nec, but what if St.cronin did attack someone last night and it ended up being a nec and he is trying to give them some code?
I dont see how he can be hinting to attack someone tonight, since how would you know who to attack if you were a nec? Maybe Im reading too much into this here though... The more I think about this, good enough for me.. Unvote Bek Vote St. Cronin |

Because there would be a lot of shit going on. This game has lots of moving parts; a night kill would have thrown in yet another we would have to deal with. And because whoever died would have been completely, insanely random.

Alan: If I understand it correctly if Cronin attacked a bad guy that bad guy knows cronin just as well as cronin knows him.

Then what would he gain for trying to hint to kill someone tonight, unless he is trying to get clues out for people to seer scan him to start forming their circle? |

So far I think we've been reading too much into little things due to lack of any other substantive information. While I'm not saying cronin isn't bad, we need to be careful how far we let our zeal lead our minds.

They don't know each other until they make contact, though. So he could be trying to get OTHER necromancers to try the same thing.

Ok, I'm off to play some softball. I don't like the whole switching votes thing too much, but my first vote was really just in case I couldn't make a more well-informed vote later. Since I know a little more now...
Unvote Passacaglia Vote st. cronin

I'm super confused.
I thought SnDvls was acting odd but someone is vouching for him. There's a runup on St Cronin but there isn't anything totally damning. Vote bek As much as i hate to, since it's friggin lame to go after the guy who hasn't shown up for the 2nd day in a row (as a group), I gotta vote bek right now. I'm unsure on the other 2 floating in my mind (SnDvls and St Cronin) and I don't want to lynch another important member to our cause. |

Catching up here, though my vote doesn't look like it's gonna matter at this point.
Dubb? Can we get some sort of hint of idea why the 180 on SnDvls? |

By the by, this is 2 days in a row where I am away from the computer for a couple hours and get back to see a mad dash on a totally unexpected person. This worries me.

Also I don't think Chubby's play screams of anything except excited newcomer. As someone who played as a wolf in his first full game I have some idea of what that looks like and this doesn't seem like it to me. |

had chubby just been an excited rookie I would have no problem, but some of the observations he has made make me think he is shrewder then we think.

The end of that game was full of weird shit. After Anxiety was killed and we muffed the barkeep kill I was certain we had lost...but then lathum killed barkeep for reasons I still don't understand, and Day Six went down perfectly even though I zoned out for an hour and forgot to put in my vote. It was almost the perfect storm, and we put a big dent in the ability for bad guys to stay quiet and under-the-radar in the future. |

Just because he's shrewd doesn't mean that he's bad, though. Then we have to start judging the content of his observations, which we can't do until we develop some more information. This is a really slow developing game, we can't get too far into our ruts now. |
