I'm the bodyguard okay?

You reveal this 15 minutes before the deadline? So we have one person claiming he is the seer and the other claiming to be the body guard.

In post 680 you said, "I am just a villager".

That would have been a good time to reveal.

Why do you think Poli choose you?

1. where is this hint?

2. I don't buy a bodyguard reveal this late.

3. I don't think Poli would pick you as the BG, I think he would go with someone much more low profile

We can't count on the tie at all because of the masons. The masons would have to agree with you and be already one on each, or else switch to make that happen. I don't think we can force a tie this game.

You could have been more convincing to me by not throwing so many baseless accusations around. As it is, like I said earlier, if I had to guess, I'd say you're probably telling the truth, but also, I'd say you're the more likely one to be lying of you and DT.

Let's not forget that Poli hasn't played much so it's not outragous to think he'd pick people who he knows. Though I'm also quite skeptical of DT being anointed the BG.

I'm not saying we can count on it -- I just think it's our best option.

I tend to agree, but we are assuming the mason's would not break the tie.

Not really -- in that case PB really *was* setting up a fake reveal.

Lathum your problem is that even if you're telling the truth it still might be good to have you out of the way.

I'll show you the post numbers after deadline, but where you accused DT of setting himself up for a seer reveal, and where you accused KWhit of slight backtracking, when all he was doing was clarifying.

the hint was when i told olie i'd always love her --- aka kevin costner aka bodyguard!

i really didn't want to reveal, because now the wolves have at worst a 50/50 shot of picking me off any given night based on if i guard myself or someone else

I hope not, because that would be a big opportunity missed by the person drafting. It doesn't seem like a big stretch to me.

I'm not sure that Whitney Houston references go over the best on a sports message board

come to think of it, the only way YOU would know they were baseless is if you had insight into who is/isn't a wolf.

These kind of obscure 'hints' don't really hit home when the posts are coming once every ten seconds or so.

So if it were a stronger hint, you guys would be more inclined to believe him? I don't get the concept of hinting that you have a role at all. Maybe that's why I wasn't chosen for one.

not buying that reveal at all from DT....what are the odds out of 21 players that the 2 we pick to be our lynch candidates both have roles.

I agree that hints are over rated except if you're the seer and are trying to hint at who you've scanned in case you die.

It's past deadline. i won't spoil St.Cronin's writeup for him.. but I play a part in the end result.. and thus you will find out my role.

I'll comment more after night actions are over. Either I'll be night killed by wolves (thus my role fully listed), or I'll explain my thoughts about today and go into full detail on my role at that point.

also, if DT is the bodyguard, no way he should have been out and point fingers...he should have gone quiet and let other people stand out....to be any help, the BG has to stay just as hidden as the seer.

I agree fully.. I hate self votes. In this situation it felt like the best strategy though for myself. I obviously didn't do it in the normal self-vote fashion.
