The orientation that was being used by Danny and Poli and PB for the map was the correct orientation, which I found funny, so it matched up virtually perfectly.

With 20 players instead of 18, and maybe another week, perhaps we coulda have beaten the Obama-McCain thread for most posts....

cool thanks for that info on those rooms Abe. Castle Kitchens is a cool mechanic, would like to see more of those type of rooms in future games. What happened with the angel and the harp in that room, not sure anyone ever said in the thread?

I figured there had to be something more to those star rooms, and too bad I didn't know about that, would have gone back lol.

Deck of Many Things room? Anything like the D&D Deck of Many Things? Man I'm bummed, always thought that was a cool magic item. Did anybody get to that room? If not, put it in the next game please along with that damn Sphere.

Abe, what a massive undertaking.

Thanks for putting your life on hold so that we had the chance to do this.
It really was a blast.

Congrats to the winners.

I think it's clear I wasted too much time and diddered around too much in the lighter bricks.

Deciding when to move onto darker bricks was the toughest decision in the game, in my opinion. I almost cost myself the game by backtracking into the lighter bricks.

The harp gave you the Celestial Harp String for the bard prestige item.

The angels infused my spirit giving me an extra temporary 25 hps. Without that and the oil of absorption, I might've been magic'ed to death by the demon spider in the adjacent room.

I screwed around a lot the first week. I didn't realize you couldn't take an action during movement phase other than moving. I stayed fighting leprechauns not realizing the exp was going to go down the more I fought them. I ran from that illusionary 4-horned beast so that wasted a movement. The big thing that got me going was getting warped to the rabid weasel room, buying the plate suit at the Djinni sale, and killing the 3 berserkers in the next room. They gave quite a bit of loot and there was more in the room itself.

So how good was the Plate of Ablation anyway? Or will it make an appearance in the next one?

In addition to having the best AC it made every weapon do Minimum damage when hitting you.

I have to reiterate what some others have said. This was hands down the most fun I've had in WW. Abe, your commitment to it was astonishing and I only wish I would've lived to see it through. Secretly, living to enjoy the game became more of a goal for me than necessarily winning. Poli, Danny, JAG, etc. were great to work with and I liked the co-op nature this brought out.

Ummm.... No.

I dinged 10 first. If I had more days to play I'd have plenty more XP.

Just saying.

If Abe gets bored, he can do a round robin of combats to show just how wrong your ranking are.

Yeah, this game was awesome. And now, I only need 20 more posts to hit 1000. Pretty amazing that in 10 years here, this one game is responsible for 10% of my posts.

The rules have been done for, like a year. What has not been done is building the dungeon. That takes forever.

One day. If Crimson was in this game from the start we would be close now. He'll need to pick up Poli's share for Dungeon 2.

I definitely think there needs to be a dungeon 2 so I can find out how it works. I've tried on several occasions to read it just for fun and I can't make head or tail of how it worked. Was it half in PMs half in thread kinda thing?
