Nothing outside of the Andrews injury is different, it appears. Chelmsford is still 21st, we're still 5th. They're still favored to win the match.

Chelmsford: 5-4 (Fav) Draw: 11-5 Eastwood: 7-4 (Blue Square Bet Premier)

Eastwood Town go into this away game with every chance of walking away with something against slight favorites Chelmsford, according to Sky Bet.

By winning the upcoming match, Eastwood can move up to 4th in the standings and will hope to leapfrog Forest Green. Eastwood could drop out of the playoff places if they lose their next match.

Despite a slow start (Jamie Rewbury called for a foul inside the penalty area 1 minute into the game; kick missed), Eastwood Town pulls out a 2-1 win.

Freddie Ladapo scored both goals for Eastwood. The first on a counter from 30 yards out when he caught the keeper too far out from the goal. Ladapo lofted a shot just over the keeper's arms and into the net. His second goal came in the second half to break the tie...a quick shot header.

Chelmsford's only goal came off a brilliant play on a corner. A double header later, Eastwood keeper James Gilpin was wondering where the ball was. Unfortunately, it was in the net.

Rewbury would later leave due to a twisted ankle. The injury is yet another in a mounting list for Eastwood Town. Rewbury is expected to miss 6 to 8 weeks with the injury.

Markel Bailey made his 50th career appearance in the match, subbing in at the 75 mark. Mitchell Hanson picked up a late yellow card for tripping. Rewbury had a yellow card as well shortly after his injury before leaving the pitch.

A look ahead at December, 2012:

1.12.2012 - Eastwood 5th v Barrow 24th (Blue Square Bet Premier)
8.12.2012 - York 3rd v Eastwood (Blue Square Bet Premier)
18.12.2012 - Eastwood v Fleetwood 2nd (Blue Square Bet Premier)
26.12.2012 - Accrington 13th v Eastwood (Blue Square Bet Premier)
29.12.2012 - Lincoln 16th v Eastwood (Blue Square Bet Premier)

At least we don't play on Christmas Day or New Year's Eve. I hate only have two home matches out of 5 for the month, though.

A disappointing tie at home against Barrow. Freddie Ladapo scored early, but had another called back due to being offside. Barrow caught keeper James Gilpin out of position and struck the equalizer before the half.

Steve Lacey will be issued a warning after a vicious tackle sent him to the shower with a red card.

Fortunately, we have a week to recover from this recent onslaught of matches.

Freddie Ladapo made Team of the Week. It's been so long since that's happened for Eastwood I wonder if it's a mistake.

York had just three shots on goal, but it was enough to maintain a bore draw, 1-1, against Eastwood.

York scored first, this time keeper James Gilpin made a bad pass and the defense took advantage. Gilpin was subsequently beaten in a one on one confrontation. Eastwood would trail at the half.

Striker Freddie Ladapo took the challenge from his coach during halftime to heart. Alex Troke found Ladapo through the middle of the defense. Ladapo converted the pass to a score so quickly that defense barely had time to react in the 51st minute. Ladapo would earn MoM honors.

Sam Benjamin
would later pick up a yellow card for tripping. Troke would later suffer a bruised thigh during an accidental collision. He finished the match but is likely to miss the next two weeks as a result of the injury. Eastwood has not lost in their past five matches, however the draw pushed Eastwood to 6th place. Richard Cooper made his 275th appearance we he entered the match at the 77th minutes.

Next up for Eastwood is a home match in the FA Trophy First Round on 15 Dec. Luton's squad will be in town for the match.

Ladapo 7.2, ZC 6.8

Benjamin 6.8, Hanson 6.8, Joyce 6.9, Caines 7.0 , Bailey 6.0

Gilpin 6.9

I totally missed my board's confidence meeting message earlier this month.

To summarize, the board is delighted with the leadership qualities you are demonstrating.

The team's fantastic overall performance in the Blue Square Bet Premier has been a particular highlight.

However, your decision to let David Lee leave the club is regarded by the fans to be a poor piece of business.

The club recorded a loss of $5.57K last month.

Monthly Turnover: $99.73K
Previous Month: $134K
Main Income: Gate Receipts $81.86K

Monthly Expenditure: $105K
Previous Month: $96.44K
Main Expenditure: Other - $19.52K

Eastwood fans are all set to welcome Luton fans to Eastwood for their English FA Trophy First Round match.

Luton are seen as strong favorites for the match and The Badgers supporters will know that they are unlikely to see an upset.

Both clubs will be doing everything they can to ensure victory.

Part-timers Eastwood are up against it in their home encounter against beaten FA Trophy finalists Luton, according to Sky Bet.

Eastwood Town falls to Luton, 1-0. Freddie Ladapo had a chance but couldn't put it away...beat the defense and the keeper in the 25th minute but struck the post and the defense hastily cleared the ball.

That was our best opportunity of the day.

Gavin Falconer made his first start since injuring his groin early in the season. Perhaps that will give Ladapo and ZC some rest and they won't have so much pressure to score. It'll certainly put Lacey on notice for that red card shenanigans (psst, Lacey, next time injure the guy you cut down).

1,879 were in attendance...a rather nice crowd. I'm disappointed we couldn't at least tie this puppy up. I'm beginning to sense that this thing is starting to unravel as we hit the second half of the season.

Our next match against Fleetwood's been moved to the 22nd to accomodate Fleetwood's rematch in the FA Trophy.

It will be Fleetwood's third match in a row with York. Fleetwood won, 1-0, on the 12 Dec, but played to a scoreless draw on 15 DEC. The rematch takes place on the 19th.

I will be more than happy to take a few more days off while these guys battle it out.

In a surprise, Eastwood Town overcame Fleetwood Town at Coronation Park 3-2. Two goals from Freddie Ladapo helped Eastwood to victory.

Things did not get off to a good start for Fleetwood as young striker Ladapo seized on an error by Joe Tait to score a fierce shot. Ladapo was able to keep his composure to score from the spot after Tait gave away a penalty. Midfielder Sean Clancy pulled one back for Fleetwood after 18 minutes with a header.

An error from Fleetwood's Matthew Pearson allowed midfielder Ross Gardner to score a real poacher's effort Things took another bad turn for Fleetwood as centre-back Joe Tait somehow managed to find himself dismissed before halftime.

The last goal of the game came from young goalkeeper James Gilpin whose 34th minute own-goal will undoubtedly cause him some embarrassment.

Eastwood have been playing above all expectations so far this season and find themselves in 5th place in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

Man of the Match: Sean Clancy (Fleetwood)
Attendance: 1,701

Ladapo's two early goals were a result of a change in our style. After I set the lineup, I decided taking the ball to the box and pressing Fleetwood might be the best option. They would enter the game worn down after a mad series of matches with York.

The moves paid off. The goals gave us a 3-1 lead at the half. Gilpin's error was really bad. He was moving with where he thought the ball would be and it ended up hitting him in the back of the legs and bounding in. Way to go, kid.

A number of injuries and yellows to report. Ladapo, Adam West, and David Joyce were all injured. Joyce and Victor Zapata-Caicedo were booked. Ladapo's injury was the only serious one. His thigh strain will keep him out 4-5 weeks.

Accrington has 3 injured and two suspended for this match. At least we have that going for us.

There you have it. Nothing worth noting on our side. AT ALL.

We were outshot, 14-3. All three came in the second half as I tried to ramp up the offense.

David Joyce
was booked and now is on yellow card watch alongside Gavin Caines.

Lincoln: 4-6 (Fav) Draw: 9-4 Eastwood: 7-2 (Blue Square Bet Premier)

Underachieving Lincoln are clear favorites in this home encounter but will still have to make sure they do a professional job against part-timers Eastwood, according to Sky Bet.

Eastwood have been playing above all expectations so far this season and find themselves in 6th place in the Blue Square Bet Premier. Eastwood can overtake a number of teams including Forest Green and move as high as 4th if they win their next game.

Lincoln have been disappointing in the Blue Square Bet Premier so far this season and find themselves in 15th place.

The referee for the match will be Mark Bull from Chelmsford who has shown 31 yellow cards and one red card in his ten Blue Square Bet Premier games so far this season.

Elliott, Gardner, and Caines all sitting out due to a need of 'rest'.

Lincoln City 1 - 1 Eastwood Town (Blue Square Bet Premier)

Following their 1 - 1 draw with Lincoln at Sincil Bank, an ex-Eastwood player claimed that his former team must improve if they are to succeed this season.

The match began in controversial circumstances as Lincoln City were denied claims by Jamar Loza for a penalty. Young striker Victor Zapata-Caicedo gave Eastwood the lead with an incisive finish in the 57th minute.

Lincoln's equalizer came through Sam Smith as he seized on ZC's mistake to score a poorly struck effort from inside the penalty kick area.

Eastwood have been playing above all expectations so far this season and find themselves in 5th place in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

Man of the Match: Sam Smith (Lincoln)
Attendance: 1,830

Given the amount of injuries, guys resting, and amount of matches we've had this past week or so, I'm perfectly fine with a road draw.

ZC ends the drought, but allowing the draw really killed me. I thought we may have enough defense to pull through.

Three yellow cards for my team, all late in the game: Gavin Falconer, Markel Bailey, and Sam Benjamin.
