Because I'm doing everything I possibly can do to "win" in the game. Alright, I'm going to assume you're allowed to unvote in the public poll and the submit a different top 5. If not, then I will have to adjust my private poll accordingly so Claph doesn't get screwed. No. If you change your vote, then we each will have 1-2-3 as long as Claph keeps his vote the same and doesn't change it.

BTW -- someone asked about Molson again. By the process of elimination (Lathum and myself were both cleared and St. Cronin was determined to be the detractor seer), Molson is the SEC's detractor. Voting for him is a bad idea.

Yeah. You are #4 in my public poll. I already made deals with Claph and jeheinz to make them be #2 and #3 in the public poll and I'm not going to back out of those. I haven't made any deals with the private poll (unless any of my posts were misinterupted), but I can say I will include both you and ntndeacon somewhere in them in hope that you might vote for me as well.

I think that certainly reflects Chief being something bad. As well as Molson, of course.

I think your gut is right on this. Molson is a known detractor, and he had to have thrown his game to have lost to you. There was no other reason to throw it than to muck up your scan.

Catholics win if ND wins the national championship. Non-catholics shouldn't include ND in their polls to ensure that they don't get into the mix. Since you don't need to include 5 names in your poll, I think you are better off leaving that slot blank than voting for ND.

But that's not so. You only win if you get the at-large from our conference. Otherwise, you will not win the NC (because if you don't get the at-large, you are not in our conference), and either someone from another conference (you lose) or me/st.cronin (Catholic/detractor -- you lose) will get the at-large.

Racer is not on anybody's side but his own conference's.
