His left on base percentage is typically around 80 percent in the regular season while his postseason has fallen to 68%.

Kershaw has basically had his worst luck in the postseason. Last night's performance might start the progression back to the mean for him.

The HR/FB is fluky, but I think the LOB one can be attributed to facing better teams in the post season. Most lineups are going to be better 1-9 than in the regular season.

I love Kershaw and am rooting for him, but I do think he isn't the same pitcher on the post season.

No tweet imbedding?

This was Clayton Kershaw’s ninth career postseason start of 6+ IP and no more than 1 earned run and 1 walk. Most in MLB history.

Clayton Kershaw has struggled in the postseason for sure. But if you take out that World Series start in Houston in 2017 where the Astros knew what pitches were coming his World Series ERA drops from 5.03 to 3.75.

Part of the problem is he struggles in the 7th inning on and has been continuously left in too long

Cant believe that this ump was allowed to go behind the plate. He was 63rd out of 63 for accuracy behind the plate and it showed

Not really. I want a guy who is solid. This guy sucked balls. I'm ok if he's a little up, or down, or in or out, as long as he hits it for both teams and it's reliable. This guy was the absolute worst that I've see all year long. He was constantly calling balls in the zone and strikes out. he's call away a strike, then it wouldn't be. I just want it to be the same. It clearly impacted LA, but it wasn't why they lost. Get this fucking guy out of there. He has no business behind the plate in the series.

Wow! What a crazy end to a crazy game!

Two errors on that last play let Arozerena score to winning run.

I am trying so hard to take all this easy and zen and was for most of the game, until that. I just woke up the house and am decidedly NOT zen right now.

Still using the racquetball baseballs that Manfred loves.

There are so many HRs I've seen this postseason that are obviously gone off the bat.

He has finally heard everyone. One inning too early rather than one inning too late.

Yeah, that was quite a load of crap to pull him there when he was really just bearing down and feeling confident.

One more....Even when I said that this season wasn't really going to cut it, my god, this playoff gauntlet has been a tough one, and it feels much more legit than I expected to see.

Overall one of the best playoffs I can remember. The 7 games in 7 days NL and AL Championship Series were amazing and I wouldn't mind if they could figure out a way to do that every year.

Same for me, except I wish the WS games started an hour or so earlier.

I am a big fan of the 7 games in 7 days. It means that regular season depth is more important rather than trying to lean on 3 SPs, a couple of lockdown relievers, and a start or two turned reliever

I want the Rays to win but they get what they deserve right here. No wonder I don't follow baseball very closely anymore. Tony Larussa thinks managers over-manage in today's game. Sheesh.

Snell had 9 Ks, had given up 2 hits. Gets taken out after 6.1 IP.

It is bull shit and it cost the Rays the WS tonight.
