So Golden, there are ways to hint, without going to the end of the spectrum that I occupy, that you have a useful role. If you'd posted some such speculation at the start of the day, I'd have been more likely to believe it than as a less minute attempt to save your life.

I won't run night actions tonight before bed unless everyone sends in their PM that they want that. I like giving people the time for discussion and changing their mind. In the morning I have some early appointments so if I have time I might run them before 7am EST. Most likely it will be the 9am EST time like scheduled though. |

Yeah, GE you waited until the very last minute to throw anything useful out. Nobody had time to think about it and react.
So, should we see if GE can demonstrate his ability to get out of jail? GE is it a night or day action? |

Yeah, Swaggs, if i was a cowboy I would definitly be eyeing you. So I am all for putting him in jail Saldana. And lets keep Golden in jail, although I dont see how powerful a retired sheriff could be... How could you escape jail again?

Yea, I could have said my role earlier but I was hoping I would not have to. It kind of sucks to have role out in the open on Day 1. But I will live with my trsuter revolver at my side.

I also would like to add that we need to look very quickly at saldana running the show. He is not someone I feel comfortable with at all. He knew he took a gun from me, yet did not reveal it until the deadline. There is something very fishy about him.
What is your reasoning for that, saldana?

I say let GE escape if he can, release Lathum, and jail Chubby or SnDvls or somebody else who has been quiet.

well GE....if you are what you say you are, then prove it....free lathum, and then i will let you out tomorrow night...otherwise i am gonna put your ass right back in tomorrow, because as far as i am concerned springing yourself from prison doesnt prove you are anything close to what you say you are...like i said before, i would be stunned if the cowboys couldnt break their own out of jail.

I really was backed up at work. I did not think I was going to have much time to play WW at all. In fact, if the senior developer would have showed up, I would not have been able to post any.

Do you really want me wasting my action on myself or Lathum for that matter? As I have stated, my powers should be used to keep the current sheriff in check.

This is a good idea, but can you jail two people, and count on somebody else's night action making room in jail? I foresee technical issues with this. |

what was your reason for hiding it....its not my job to prove your innocence...i asked you 4 or 5 times during the day to tell me something that would make me trust you, but you kept trying to hide the fact that you had a gun when i arrested you....in fact, your whole retired sheriff bit only showed up when i announced you had a piece. all you did today was bitch and moan about how you shouldnt be in jail without offering up anything to convince me otherwise.. now i am challenging you directly....free lathum instead of yourself....if you really are the lawdog, that will prove it. |

Why are you pushing me so hard to release someone? Do you not like someone having direct veto powers over your head? I will just stay put for now. This old jail cell is kind of comfy anyway. If you are corrupt, you could have major plans over the next two days.

any one else see anything wrong with GE's sudden reversal?
for the record...i will not be freeing lathum tonight...and if he is still in jail tomorrow, it's because "Retired Sheriff GoldenEagle" left him in there....when that happens, hopefully the mayor will stay out of the law enforcement business tomorrow and we can lynch GE like we should have done today |

If I did not think there was a good posibillty of you being corrupt, then I would be happy to free lathum. But you seem awfully eager for me to get rid of my powers. You have not offered a good explanation for me to use my powers yet other than to prove myself. I do not think I am in any danger of being lynched tommorow.

So you are not going to release someone who could be benefical to the viliage over a power struggle? Who wants to be the next sheriff? This is one is obviously not looking out for the townspeople's best interest.

you are kind of amusing...you want everyone to believe not only that i am corrupt, which no one else does, but also that you are what you say you are based on nothing but your statements, which you have an opportunity to prove at no cost to yourself, but are refusing outright to do. |

Whats the point of lynching a villager? You are acting all uptight Saldana, I dont think the retired sheriff should scare you. And if Swaggs didn't believe him, I dont think he would have revealed for him. Plus, I dont think you are going to get the 11 votes (10 once somebody dies tonight) for GE's lynching tomorrow. |

if he is a villager, he has the opportunity to prove it with no negative repercussions to the town. swaggs made a split second decision based on what GE said....alot more things have been said since then that are alot more revealing IMO than what was said at 8:55 |

I've been really struggling with the idea of GE saving his power versus using it now to prove himself. I would love to hear what Swaggs thinks, since he's the one who really put himself out on the line with GE.

There are a couple of other things that could happen, too, depending on the order of night actions.
- GE could break both himself and Lathum out of jail. - The cowboys could break both GE and Lathum out of jail. - The cowboys could break both GE and Lathum out of jail, and kill either GE or Lathum. |
