I don't think think I've ever seen a tourney where teams were so perfectly matched in the Sweet Sixteen. So far, all 6 games have been pretty exciting for the whole game. I'd have to say the selection committee got this season right.

How was that a foul on Butler? He was getting knocked back with elbows, thats why he gave up room.

And James Brown is absolutely horrible. Is he even at the game?

Call me crazy but somehow I want the teams that played the best during the season to compete for the championship.

These sweet 16 games have been fantastic. Just because they haven't ended up being upsets doesn't take away from the quality and competitiveness of the games.

Yeah I know.

After the Trojans inconsistent play in the Pac-10, I never thought they would get this far. I thought they would play Texas tough, but didn't think they could run with NC.

Ditto all of that, but I like what I'm seeing in the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half.

USC seems more athletic than the Heels, which I wasn't expecting.

USC is definitely one of the most athletic teams in the country. Their weakness is depth, and the 4th foul on Gibson there could change the tide of the game.

Tide has turned. I would be absolutely amazed if USC holds out now. Behind Gibson they have absolutely nothing, and if NC just throws the ball inside to Hansborough and Wright I don't see how we can stop them.

Oof..yeah. I think you better just keep Gibson in as long as possible. If they save him for too long they'll be down 7 and it will be too late.

A lot to do with depth. I guess some guys don't mind going to a big college as the #7 or 8 guy with a good chance at the Championship.

Well, this puppy's over. Not too disappointed. SC was playing with house money at this point. I barely expected a winning record after the Francis murder. Sweet 16 was a really good run. You almost never see a Floyd team embarrassed on the boards like this, but as much talent as SC has, they only have one big guy. Just don't have the horses down low. Yet.

That has been a concept that always amazes me. If it was me I would rather be a starter at Pepperdine then the #10 guy on UCLA. Especialy with how many games are on TV these days even guys from smaller schools get exposer.

Okay, Billy Packer can now officially be declared too senile to be on the air any longer.

I can understand how the traveling call wasn't made, but after watching the replay they just showed, for him to try to say that he wasn't sure that a traveling occurred ... damn, he's lost his freakin' mind.
