It isn't much more then a feeling. In my experiences DT plays very differently as a wolf and I am getting that vibe from him. I am also not a fan of the way he buried his D1 vote.

At some point we need to look at the early D1 voters that were on the known villagers

DT is certainly playing different than last game. Very different. And I have him on one of my lists for this reason: he's the only fighter who has played defense every single day. That's one of the things I've been looking for, as I would expect it would be a wolf strategy. Clearly it's not the predominant wolf strategy, but it seems counter to playing the Rumble side of things which I would have expected DT to get into.

The boos from the crowd rain down on the wrestlers in the ring. While the action has been hot and heavy, only good guys seem to be getting thrown out!

You all eye each other with suspicion. This has not gone how you expected it. You know there are traitors amongst you, but so far, you have been unable to find them.

Off by the ropes, Ravishing Rick Rude (saldana) is still rubbing his eyes at the raking he received from Rowdy Roddy Piper (Chubby). So when a handful of wrestlers happened to dodge out of each other's way while circling the others, he did not see when they came near him. Suddenly, he was pitched over the ropes!

Amazing! Ravishing Rick Rude is out of the fight! Oh, and he's mad! He stares back at the ring of wrestlers in bitter suspicion, as the fans around him point and laugh and cheer. Ravishing Rick Ride is no favorite of the crowd.

The remaining wrestlers look around. If any one of them was responsible for Rick Rude's elimination, that wrestler is not talking.

Ravishing Rick Rude (saldana) was the Seer!

ABLE TO BE FINISHED

Jake the Snake Roberts (Suicane75)
Rowdy Roddy Piper (Chubby)

Please see the Finishing section of the rules for more details.

Suicane75 and Chubby can only go with Aggressive Defense today for Fight Actions.

Fight Action deadline is at 1 p.m. PDT/4 p.m. EST.

Lynch deadline is at 7 p.m. PDT/10 p.m. EST

I do not work at the second job tonight, so we'll actually get a traditional fight and lynch results at the deadline.

Yeah, I was holding out some hope that the bodyguard had tricked the wolves somehow and would pull out a block. Wasn't likely though. Sucks to lose the seer so early, we need something.

Well, I haven't looked close at yesterday's vote. But what stands out in my mind is how NTN went from being a leading vote getter to disappearing. I would like to see him back in the conversation to see what happens this time around.

I don't think that this is that logical. ntn had four votes on him, what happened was Britrock got run up to 5 by ntn, Zinto, and saldana, then Brit (for self-defense) and I (due to ntn's explanation) switched to Zinto. Brit and I both had the first two votes on ntn, so you're assuming that someone who brought him into the conversation then tried to save him. Seems unlikely to me (I know it wasn't me trying to do it and ntn and Brit have both had key votes on each other D2 + D3).

I think I will go a different direction today, but I am not sure where to go yet to be honest.

Could be. Like I said, I haven't looked back. I just hate when people get heat, wriggle out of it somehow and then get forgotten. Seemed dramatic at the time, but I couldn't tell you who voted him or moved, yet, so could be nothing. I'll look back at it before I leave.

Also, I'm not just thinking about votes, I'm thinking about the conversation steering people away from a target.

I just read back, and it looks like you're right. A villager run on Brit, and then you and Brit moving off of NTN was the gist of it. Guess I was just hoping for something! I will look back at older votes, with Zinto now in blue and see what stands out from that.

Just looked back and D1 and D2 and it doesn't seem knowing about Zinto really adds anything to those days. He wasn't in the vote D1, was only in it at the very end D2, and didn't vote on D2.

Looking back through the voting records what strikes me is that the wolves really don't look like they've had to do to much work:

Day 1: mauchow & Simbo -- both proven villagers
Day 2: Runaway on Simbo, runs on both saldana and britrock. Britrock only unknown there.
Day 3: Zinto, villager. britrock 3 votes behind.

Plus most of the late voters have turned up good as well, unknown allegiances for late voters by day:

Day 1: JAG and Lathum late mauchow votes, bulletsponge late Simbo.
Day 2 (late=post saldana reveal): Autumn switches from sal to Zinto and then Simbo; Lathum switches to Simbo.
Day 3: Nothing late, I was last vote on Zinto.

Makes me want to look at the britrock switches but frankly other than that I suspect they've just been hiding out in the majorities or in some of the outlier votes.

He's actually still working on the block of cheese. They make big blocks of cheese in France, and as it turns out, Andre is a very careful and deliberate eater. He is unlikely to completely consume eating the cheese before the end of the Royal Rumble.

Again, the gods have proven themselves... I told you the hand of fate had taken hold of you, Rick Rude.. MAYBE NOW YOU WILL BELIEVE THEM!!

All of you should seek their favor, because I see the path unfolding before me AND YOU CANNOT CHANGE FATE... I will be the last warrior standing when the dust settles and the smoke clears, and I will not be denied!

Yep - I'm mixing up my playing styles.

As for playing defense...yes that's true. I haven't really gotten into the wrestling aspect of things -- been busy with work and haven't had much of a chance to analyze things to the level where I'd feel comfortable attacking someone, nor have I gotten into the "RPing" side of the game as much as I've wanted to.

If playing defense everyday is an obvious wolf strategy (which I disagree with btw...it'd just draw attention to a wolf, particularly when they haven't been under suspicion) then why would I do the "obvious wolf thing" if I was a wolf?
