Tyrod with the "hold my beer" move after our "Malik Willis has no game awareness" discussion earlier today.

The Bills playing another Barnburner with the Giants.

No, I'm not saying it's a great game, I'm saying I want to lock both teams in a barn and burn it down.

I don't like the FG on 4th and inches. You gotta be more aggressive when trying to pull off a road upset. Especially when down by 1 pt and worst case scenario is still a 1 possession game if you don't convert.

I still don't understand why teams don't have plays ready for these hurry up situations, so they don't have to waste a down with a spike.

I'm oddly interested in the Texans now... like seeing Stroud look like a fit, and that roster has felt like a blank slate for so long, it's nice to see the team with an actual form now.

I was going to say that question was too challenging for the AI. They'd have no frame of reference since the Lions haven't won squat since before computers were invented. But, the Lions winning a Superbowl is so crazy that we might actually have our celebration in the Detroit River in February.

Always felt like Stroud was the safest/best quarterback coming out of last years draft, and I still stand by that.

I wish I was on it too, but I've yet to see a game. They haven't played any when I'm watching yet but I'll get there. Also, love that floatee lion!

Do you guys remember the movie M*A*S*H where it's the football scene and they do a montage where every other play they are carting an injured person off the field accompanied by comedy music?

That was the Bills/Giants game.

I just saw my first mock draft for 2024 from the Athletic (don't judge, I went to cancel and they offered a year for $24). Is it wrong that I felt disappointed when I got to the Eagles and they didn't have a defensive player from Georgia?

Anthony Richardson getting season ending surgery.

I hope he can stay healthy. Looks like an amazing player.

I'd hate for this to be an RGIII situation.

Rog's best value for the owners is he is willing to take all of the criticism. He doesn't wipe his ass without 2/3 of them agreeing to let him. But they are never blamed for anything the league does because he's willing to be the face of it.

It hasn't been perfectly seamless and I am not particularly a fan of their approach, but I would give him credit for how quickly he has been able to marry legal gambling with the league. I would have thought there would be way more hiccups and scandals (and maybe there still will be), but embracing gambling sponsorships and commercials created a huge stream of new revenue for the league.

I know I'm just repeating myself over and over in these threads, but someone/something has really sucked the air out of these TNF broadcasts.

Jags are close to being good. I may be completely off on this, but seems like the Saints are well-coached with just average talent holding them back.

It is on Amazon just in case you didn't know.

sportsurgeDOTnet is a stream aggregator full of sketchy links, if you dare.

$1 Billion (per year, for 11 years) is why it's on Amazon.

The NFL gives no real fucks about fans or viewership as long as companies are willing to pay completely insane prices.

I think that there's enough blame to go to both players and coaches. But the general sense from the fans is that is is more coaching than players.

When your receivers and QB are still miscommunicating in week 6, to me that is more coaching.

Their schedule is laughably easy. And their defense is still stout. So I still think that they will finish around .500.

But it will be a very bad .500 team.

And they are one of the oldest teams in the league. And poorly coached (on offense). And up against the cap.

A rebuild/tear-down/reload/whatever-they-want-to-call-it is coming this offseason, IMO.

Multiple times last night, Derek Carr had the look of an employee surrounded by co-workers who just exited a clown car. And that was just the times he was on camera. The guy came from the Raiders organization and still had the look of a guy who knows the crap that's going on with his team should not still be happening mid-way through November.

I'm sure he's not blameless, but he had the look of someone who couldn't believe the level of disorganization he was having to suffer through.

Some of these saints contracts are funny. Carr pretty much locked in thru the end of 25 with hits of 35/45 next two years. Ryan Ramcyzk. Locked into 35 million of dead money next year. Marshon Lattimore counts at something like 27mil next year. Taysom Hill, 15m for 6 gadget plays a game.
