Yeah, I guess I get very wary when I see runs start for a couple reasons. 1- Wolves pile on and drive a vote 2- As villagers it gives us tunnel vision and makes us not look outside the 'favorite'. I like moving my vote around, much more than I did on day one but it seems like you often get punished for doing so so I'm trying to restrain myself to only one (or worst case scenario two) unvotes per day. So believe me, my vote is not very permanant. |

Based on cronin and path's vouching for Jackal's position on the board, I now believe that Jackal is who he says he is.
Therefore, I really don't like CR's vote for Jackal. I don't have much else to go on, but this could be a wolf trying to get a Knight out of the game. VOTE CHIEF RUM |

I'd agree. I tend to unvote too much myself as well. I decided today to take my time making my vote today so as to hopefully do it 0 or only once today. |

And Jackal:
Sounds like st.cronin is near you. If I were you, I'd submit his name for a scan tonight if I were you. |

I don't really get a strong wolf vibe from cronin, I believe he made a mistake.
CR not being able to be around much is dangerous, because he always provides good analysis.. I remember avoiding voting for him in the cruise game, but look what happened there. What he said about me made sense, but as I know I'm not a wolf, I think my vote goes with him for now. Vote Chief Rum |

Well, cripes. There was speculation that you are near me because of you knowing my position and what I can see. So either your partner told you this, or you're trying to avoid being scanned. I might have to scan you, man. |

I don't think CR would willingly put himself out like that and drive a vote for Jackal if he were a wolf. Seems like he made an assesment based on the info at hand. There were no clear candidates for the day yet.
If anything, the Wolves are probably laying low right now...considering they lost one of their numbers yesterday. Here's to someone who's been unusually silent the past two days. Vote Alan T ... for now

Actually I'm not entirely clear how this works - I may be able to move to a space where you can scan me. If I move to a spot you can see NOW, but before I move you had moved somewhere else, would you be able to scan me?

I also don't want to delay moving for you to get out of the way though. I don't really have reason to trust or distrust, but if I was a wolf trying to get out of the way of a scan, I probably would've said that as well.

VOTE LATHUM
He is either a black pawn or a wolf. Here is my reasoning. 1) Lathum did not know how anyone would know where other pieces would be on the board. 2) The only way I can see in the rules that this would be the case would be if he was a pawn that did not move last turn. 3) I believe for various reasons that all white pawns moved last turn. 4) I am assuming that a wolf who makes a kill cannot also move on the board. That either makes Lathum a black pawn who did not move, in which case my question is why on earth not? Or a wolf who made a kill last night, did not get to move, and therefore did not realize that PM's went out giving positions of pieces around one. Airtight? Nope. Enough for a day 2 vote? Yep.

Path, 1) actually makes me think Lathum is less likely to be a wolf. I assume the wolves have been building their own board, and are able to name several players locations.

I think you have to be in Jackal's field of view at the end of the turn. If Jackal stays you should be able to work out where you need to move in order to be seen by him. It's up to Jackal if he feels comfortable staying put though. Not sure I would. I've been moving away from the view that Jackal is a wolf, it just seems unlikely that we would hit on two wolves on the first day. Cronin still looks suspicious to me but if there's a chance we can get a scan on him then I'm leaning towards giving him a day to prove his case with a scan. I have to vote now but I'm really not sure where to go. I'm wary of voting for Chief, just because he's not here to reveal and given my usual time zone problems I don't like voting for people who can't be around. I'm going to work on putting something together. |
