I'm at lvl twelve, and I've got TWO quests requiring turkeys, and I'm still 12 labor points shy of being able to hunt turkeys. :grumble:

Haha...

Alright, I am at level 5, possibly level 6 before the night is through. I am going to be doing some tobacco picking before hitting the hay. I am very close to El Dolado, so hopefully some time tomorrow or Monday I will be in the area to donate some moola.

Sweet. I am currently praying and will then have 2 hours for building. Are we still on the plan to get the tailor up to level 2 right away?

Are we going to need to worry about a mortician at some point? Right now if people start attacking us, we won't be able to hit them back. Do we need to care?

Starting on the tailor level 2 in 10 minutes.

even to hit back, you need to go and visit that person's town. If he's a dude from outside the are, I say we send a telegram saying we're taking names, and then we retaliate later...

dola, and if it's someone from the area, their mistake, they will pay dearly for that in the future. As I said before, people from La Vie Boheme are much higher in level, but they seem quite pacifist. Other town, we'd eventually crush them...

duoble dola, I'd say mortician could come after level 2 of residences, when we have people other than workers who are permanent residents of the town.

I am on the east side of the square that has both towns...6-1 or 6-4 closest town is Kosova City.

btw I am now level 11 and a soldier just got enough points to guard the fort.

The last game like this I played was Omerta, and I joined about a month too late to make any real headway. If I join now, is the game too developed to have any real fun?

I don't think so, seems to be more resource gathering oriented at the moment, with the potential for some occasional gunplay. Plus the map is pretty spread out IMO, meaning you don't currently have to be particularly concerned with larger towns 6 or 8 map quadrants away.

Level 7 took longer then expected. Got too involved in the questing. But now I can't do any of the quests so its time to work on experience points.

Level 8 now, btw.

Beans beans the musical fruit, The more you eat the more you toot. The more you toot the better you feel, So eat your beans with every meal. Dat King's been doing a lot of bean picking lately, so that little ditty is stuck in my head. Level 8 now, 9 should be a sure thing tomorrow. Just walked into El Dolado, and I can probably spare $100 for the town...anyone around who can send an invite?

The group of quests I'm working on is taking a long time. Still trying to get my union flag, fool's gold, two more leather and then at some point I still need 1 more trout, 2 beans and 3 posters (don't really want to do that one at level 17, but will eventually).

I think I have 12 hours in so far with the guarding the fort. At least, I will have a decent amount of money to donate to the town now when I visit there in the next couple days.

I am sleeping in lovely El Dolado, and will be level 6 by the time I wake up IRL tomorrow. If I could get an invite for the morning, I will donate some of the funds that I have and be on my way (not sure if you can send an invite to have me open in the morning - if not, no biggie)

not really, you can join and play on your own. If you wanna see where our towns are, click rankings on the right menu, then click towns on the left, then enter "FOFC" in the second search box at the bottom. Click one of the brown crosses next to town names and it'll center your map to the town and you'll see where you are compared to us. But you can indeed level up by yourself without really walking to us, at least for a few days...
