There is a lot of discontent with Crean. Personally, I think he should get another year or two. Hopefully Brad Stevens would become an option at some point.

Cowgirls lose by 3 in triple overtime after buzzer beater try misses. Hell of a game though and perhaps the best one I've ever seen in person

Just bought a ticket to the Mountain West championship games tomorrow night. Seat isn't the absolute best, but it should be okay, since this may or may not be my last shot to go to a conference tournament championship game if I'm living elsewhere next spring.

Either way, hope UNLV advances tonight so I can watch them play for an auto-bid tomorrow night

I did that a couple of years ago in Indy for the Big Ten after I was kicking myself for never going to the Big XII tourney in KC

Seems like every game I watch UNLV play the last few years, the talent is there but they play stupidly. Rice is an incredible recruiter but the coaching is suspect as hell

Not sure I would want to see MSU versus Michigan in the final or not. If MSU won, Michigan fans would never hear the end of it. Of course, I can't back any of the four for their next two games. I think all four are close enough to where it is a coin flip.

Arizona destroyed another solid Pac-12 team in Colorado by the score of 63-43. The Buffaloes shot a season low 29.4% from the floor, just 5-20 in the second half. Title game will be against the winner of UCLA-Stanford

I really, really hope the rumors of Dejean-Jones leaving UNLV after this season are true. What a fucking obnoxious player and waste of talent. Just like Khatin Reinhardt

Not really a basketball fan but a lot of commotion going on this morning about the ending of the Clemson - Duke game last night.

Clemson loses by 1 after leading by 1 with 10 seconds to go.

Duke takes the lead on 2 free throws awarded for this foul:

http://instagram.com/p/ljG3apx6HB/

Then with 3.8 Clemson in bounds and goes for the win

and this isn't a foul.

Tough sequence and by most accounts the win vs loss here is likely the difference between a tourney birth and an NIT birth.

One could easily question both calls. I think Clemson fans have a legit beef. Not as much as Dayton fans though.

Agreed the Dayton call was tough.

Regarding the Clemson Duke sequence. I dont think either call by itself was egregious, but taken in totality back to back....pretty tough to swallow.

thats the thing. You either call both or neither. Throw in the perception Duke gets all the calls and its easy to see why the outrage.

Imagine my house today... I am a Dayton alum and my wife went to Clemson. I feel worse for Clemson because they really needed to win a couple more games to make the tourney, but I think UD is already in. If the Flyers get left out, that would be an absolute joke.

Yes, but only because we were disappointed for losing a great assistant coach for big men at Kansas. Hopefully he does well there

I continue to be amazed at how good Florida is this year. You could be up 15-20 points against this team and still be worried that they're going to come back. Great defense that leads to offensive explosions. So glad that this senior class is going to be gone next year because it's not even fair right now.

So during the regular season Kansas swept Iowa State, and Texas swept Baylor. Of course both of the swept teams win yesterday and it is Iowa State vs. Baylor for the Big 12 tourney title. Both teams were nearly unstoppable from 3 point range yesterday.

You look at all the times Craft has sparked the Buckeyes in the final minute. He knows he's the man; you figure every once in a while the man has a bad outing. Better to get it out of his system this week than next week.

If Ohio State hadn't been playing against Michigan I would have been very happy with that game. I don't think there is a chance for a higher seed by winning that game. Michigan shot lights out including some absolute circus shots but Ohio State was right there. I like where OSU is right now. I was really encouraged by the game... except for the pain of losing to Michigan.

Hoping for a MSU-UM game in the Championship. They're the two best teams, it would be great watching a rivalry game for the BTT title.

Damn MSU playin tough and we are missing lots of opportunities. Hopefully MSU doesnt shoot 80% the whole way..but if defense not in face waddya expect.

Trae Jackson still stinks and Dekker isn't quick enough.

Time to step it up.

One more hour until an interesting matchup between UCLA and Arizona. Their only matchup this year was a UA 79-75 win at Pauley, but that was way back in early January and the Cats still had a healthy Ashley.

UCLA has a good chance to beat Arizona. But they are just as likely to get blown out by the Wildcats.

Edited to add what is probably obvious, this is the Pac 12 champ game.

Good effort by State, but when you play a team with a bunch of TJ Warrens as opposed to just one, it's very hard to overcome, especially when it's the third game in three days. They shot a torrid percentage in the first half and didn't have to have Warren carry them, but once the shots stopped dropping and Duke finally clamped on Warren sufficiently so that his normal high-degree-of-difficulty shooting became almost impossible, it was a matter of time. Still, a great effort especially by TJ over the past three days. Nearly played themselves into the tournament, but they'll be kicking themselves for all the "if-only" results they had this year. Shoot, two measly points probably is what kept them out (losing at Syracuse by one on a turnover, losing in OT to Carolina at home on Paige's layup).

On to the NIT it looks like.

That's the thing. Zona is playing great D. UCLA is playing great on offense.

Looks like we're not getting the blowout version here, but it's a tight game right now.

This has been a great game.

UCLA can go really far in the tournament if they get the right matchups.

That was a fantastic Pac 12 title game. Arizona's FT shooting is their main wart and it reared its ugly head today. Still, some great shot making by UCLA.

As someone who grew up in Big East country it depresses me to no end to see the Big East title game come down to Creighton and Providence.

Shame there is so much greed out there.

Lunardi just updated his "bracketology" and has Michigan as a 1 and Louisville as a 3. I can't imagine the logic for that setup.

Michigan won the conference and is in the conference final. The B1G is a power conference. The B1G has supposedly better teams.
Louisville a 3 Im not sure. I would think they should be a 2.

He's just modeling based on past selection criteria. Pretty much everyone has Louisville as a 3 seed due to their RPI and the fact that their only non-conference top 50 win was against Southern Miss. Yes, they're playing great basketball right now and will be a lot of people's final four pick, but if you use past selections as a model, they're a 3 or maybe a 2 seed.

Part of the problem is that the #1 seeds are comparatively weaker to past year number 1 seeds.

I'll go along with the first half of that prediction - CBS is out of control when it comes to adding commercial breaks.

But the game will be decided and Michigan will be back to a 2 long before it impacts any scheduling.

Well if MSU keeps it up there won't be a reason for it to run long. If Michigan makes a run like WI yesterday, which they probably will, it will be extended but I don't think it will run past.

An update from the committee room says they have two contingent brackets.

Florida was enroute to a blowout when UK finally decided to get it going. Down by 15 at one point, it's a 1 point game in the last minute.

Boy, does that put MSU into a 2 seed just for destroying two very good teams with their fully healthy team.

I really hope Wisconsin still gets the Milwaukee site for week one. I was hoping to go to the games.
