Today has been a lot easier than normal. Although Stack Hambrick was in the lead, you still considered other candidates before going with her. She seemed rather pleased to help.

"Well, I'm not anything other than what I am, but if you can learn something by my death, I will be pleased to give it to you"

With that she walks towards the fire and steps in, just like Claude did yesterday. However, unlike Claude, she experiences a lot of pain and yells and screams a lot.

Her screams are like sirens calling out. They pierce your being and all of your thought is concentrated on them. For a few minutes, you almost share her pain.

Then it is gone. None of you were paying attention to see if she had the same red misty glow thing that you had in early days, that seem so long ago.

Eager for an answer, you quickly check her locker, but find nothing to indicate that she was a Blakekin of any sort. In fact, you find numerous pictures of Christ and poems about his torture and death for others.

Stacy Hambrick (JAG) was a High Schooler and the Martyr.

Chapter 7 has ended. Chapter 8 begins and ends at 1:30 am.

Folks we need to talk about the weekend. When do you want Chapter 9 to end? Friday night? Sunday Night? Saturday afternoon? I'll do almost anything.

As I posted in the sign-ups, I won't be around much (if any) tomorrow as I'll be heading to Baltimore.

So I'll probably dump all my thoughts now and put in a vote tomorrow morning before leaving to catch my flight. Any time I have online beyond that will be an unexpected surprise.

Agreed, but it does tighten up the voting records from Day 1 quite a bit.

Selfishly, at this point do I hope you end up being bad because it would mean that we have a substantially easier time the rest of the way.

As far as weekend deadlines, I'm leaving at 6 p.m. Saturday, and will be on the road all night until we get to Redding at 10-11 a.m. Sunday. I will be sleeping most of the day, but will be around as much as I can on Monday (which might not be that much), and definitely cast a vote.

Day 1 - voters on Pass = me, Clap, and Jackal. I think the chances are extremely high that there is a wolf in this group and I know I'm not one. Take your pick on voting for The Jackal or Clap, with a real possibility that both are wolves.

TheNorm had a big swing vote today and was on the wrong end of that vote. This was exacerbated by the fact that he held onto this vote until about five minutes before deadline, even though he was the last vote left standing for a couple of hours (pretty sure of this, other later votes were switches, right?). That would get magnified applause if he was right, but the suspicion is also magnified because he was wrong.

I'm going to type up the people that I have a little higher trust for than the norm at this point, but save that post for later in the night so as to not potentially help the wolves with selecting their target.

I've been voting late throughout. I knew I'd get suspicion if this one went wrong, and it did. Now if that's all you've got is a late vote (and ignoring the other votes that were already on JAG) as a means to try and pin it on me, then also know that you (like Schmidty currently wants to) will be wasting a vote on me.

By holding the vote that late, you draw more attention to your actions, for better or worse. That is pretty much a fact.

Having a pattern of late votes is 100% your prerogative - we have a bunch of hours to make decisions and anyone should use that time as they see fit.

I think if you have paid attention to my posts today, I'm probably not gunning for you above all others tomorrow. That is Schmidty's job

Another night brings more nightmares and a feverish night of restlessness. You awaken, if you can call it that, and move to the school, confidant that you will find another of your troop dead.

You have done away with pretenses. Your old friends and associates have no meaning anymore. The old world has gone and left you jaded and yearning for rest, real rest, which you fear you will never again get.

With a yawn and a stretch, you arrive at the school and begin your daily tally.

6 of you...7...8...9...10...

11?

You are all here!

You know you didn;t kill a Blakekin yesterday, so at least one of your is still possessed, but for the first time in a long time you begin to see light at the end of the tunnel.

Proposed Chapter 9 deadlines:

At least two of you have said you will be out most of this weekend:

Chapter 9 due on Sunday night at 10 pm

Chapter 10 due on Sunday night/Monday morning at 1:30 am

Is this okay?

Another option.

Chapter 9 due Friday at 10 pm likenormal. A few will not be around.

Chapter 10 due Sun at 10 pm.

Whichever you prefer

OK - hopefully we had a bodyguard block last night. That would make the day easier, obviously.

Here is my list of trust/distrust. I'll be heading for the airport in the next couple of hours, but if there is any early morning chatter I'm around to participate.

PB - cleared by seer in game with no cunning

NFG - why put first vote on Danny? shading towards villager

TheNorm - did not seem interested in vote analysis on Day 4, wolves need to spread votes out on Day 1 so someone might have gone with Danny? 3rd choice for wolf at present time

Clap - Pass vote D1, had chance to move his vote and make a difference at end of Day 3 but declined. Rarely on at night, but was around for JAG/Jackal showdown. Think he is wolf, reasonable chance he is a wolf with Jackal.

Jackal - Pass vote D1, high volume poster but many have been casting doubt variety rather than analysis that he purports to have been doing. Think he is wolf, reasonable chance he is a wolf with Clap.

Jets - Vote for JAG on D4 looks bad if Jackal is shown to be a wolf. Not a serious candidate for vote on D5.

MartinD - Vote for Hoops on D4, where would he have gone if he was around near deadline? Would love to see him pick up where JAG left off with vote analysis, as he has shown some inclination to think along those lines in previous games. Mild suspicion.

NTN - has pseudo-claimed a role and has not been challenged on this claim. Probably 2nd trust behind PB, but a distant 2nd.

Schmidty - has become a tough player for me to pick out, but I'm leaning towards good.

Lerriuqs - trust level goes up quite a bit if Jackal is a wolf based on Day 4 vote. Did not participate in Day 1 vote when Danny was in the line of fire, so slight trust there.

OK, well I'm not going to be around to argue with you today. But if you have a couple of minutes now I would be interesting in hearing what it is that helps you build your levels of trust/distrust. Why are you more suspicious of me than Jackal? Or, if you don't want to cover that specific pairing, then list your overall levels of trust/distrust and why you have them slated there?

I've put mine up, for better or worse, in Post #885.

In a general sense, yes. But in a specific sense, why do you have me as more suspicious than Jackal? Why Jackal more suspicious than Schmidty? Just to pick the three names on your suspect list.

Lone Blakekin – You are one of the Blakekin, but the fierce independent streak of your host has driven you from your flock. At the beginning of the game, the Blakekin know who you are, and you know who they are, but you have a separate set of abilities that only you can use during even chapters. You may not pm with each other.

This is the only Blakekin role that I can find that would potentially make last night's "no kill" a negative for us.

I'm hoping we have a BG who pulled off a block last night. But if that person can't identify a Blakekin then we probably are not going to learn about it until later in the game when either the BG (or the target, potentially) finds themselves in line for a lynch.

Clap, so far you, me, and MartinD have been around and none of us have copped to the BG block. So what are you assuming happened today if noon rolls around and we still haven't had anyone admit to registering a block?

I'm out for the duration of the day (assuming a regularly-scheduled end time) in the next couple of minutes, so I don't have time to wait to see everyone check in before making assumptions.

If no one claims BG block I would say that it is not a stone-cold-lead-pipe-lock that there was a block and the BG is keeping it on the downlow. I was hoping that was the case, but figured I should check roles to validate that assumption. The role I posted is the wildcard in the mix.

Clap, you still have not answered the question I've asked - why do you distrust me more than Jackal? What is the separator for you?

This kind of information starts to become important down the stretch ... having some justification for your votes is helpful in determining your sincerity of purpose.
