Three home matches and we still lost money. Part of that is surely due to the increase in salary. We're 5.24k in the red.

Quality of Possession Provides Victory
Eastwood Town 3 - 0 Bath City (Blue Square Bet Premier) An efficient performance from Eastwood earned them a 3 - 0 win over Bath City at Coronation Park. Two goals from Freddie Ladapo helped Eastwood to victory. Midfielder Rossi Jarvis gave Eastwood Town the lead with a real poacher's effort in the 13th minute. Young striker Ladapo doubled Eastwood's lead with a tap-in in the 31st minute. Bath City were nearly gifted a goal in the 39th minute after Sam Benjamin's lapse in concentration, but they failed to capitalize on the opportunity presented to them. There were no prizes for guessing who completed the rout in the 72nd minute as that man Ladapo popped up again with a placed shot from close range. Eastwood have been playing above all expectations so far this season and find themselves in 6th place in the Blue Square Bet Premier. Man of the Match: Freddie Ladapo (Eastwood) Attendance: 1,517

Eastwood have been playing above all expectations so far this season and find themselves in 6th place in the Blue Square Bet Premier. Man of the Match: Craig Baxter (Tamworth) Attendance: 822

So, if you're following along, in the first 50 minutes we allowed three goals. Nalborski picked up a yellow for arguing the penalty shot. It was looking grim.
Lacey then struck one in...and in a span of 7 minutes the same guy on Tamworth knocked two in for us. Mind you, Niall Andrews and Freddie Ladapo were probably hot about it because those were potential goals for them. I'll take them and the draw. We were extremely lucky to tie that up. Ladapo 6.7, Falconer 6.8 Andrews 6.0, Jarvis 6.5, Nalborski 5.7, Lacey (attacking) 7.5 Benjamin 5.7, Hessey 6.9, Caines 6.6, Bailey 6.8 Gilpin 6.8 Rewbury, Troke 6.4, Elliott 6.6, ZC 6.9, Daniel

I arranged a friendly for the reserves with Cork City. They had to accept due to the sale of David Lee.
That's when I found out David had been released. He was having a terrible time at CC. I gave him a call and was referred to his agent. Good luck with that, David. We had a wonderful moment in time last season.

The new guys have been great. Outside of Rees, who can't break into the rotation (and has been sent to U18), I'm very pleased.
Hanson's own goal was a shot that hit him in the back and bounded in...off a corner. He was playing his man, not the ball. And that about says it all. Sean Hessey had been fouled just prior to Lampkin's goal. Just outside the penalty box, Hessey fired it to Lampkin inside the box and Lampkin one timed it past the keeper.
No injuries, no cards. We were happy to play for a scoreless draw. This was much more than expected. Ladapo 6.2, Falconer 6.6 Nalborski 6.6, Lampkin 7.3, Jarvis 7.0 Benjamin 7.2, Joyce 7.0, Hessey 7.5, Caines 6.8, Hanson 7.2 Gilpin 6.5 Parsonage, Bailey 6.9, Lacey 6.5, ZC 6.9, Troke

We're 11k in the hole now. Losing Rewbury helps. I should probably look into dropping one our 5 strikers with the team.

A nice match for us until late when Hanson was booked twice in 3 minutes. I wasn't happy about that. I had told the team to stay on their feet with the book happy referee on the pitch.
No other injuries or cards to note. Ladapo 6.9, Falconer 6.8 Lacey (attacking) 7.7, Jarvis 6.8, Nalborski 7.3, Lampkin (attacking) 7.9 Benjamin 7.0, Hessey 7.2, Joyce 7.0, Hanson 6.9 Gilpin 6.9 Bailey 6.9, Troke, Dyer 6.8, ZC 6.8, Daniel

Hanson is warned after the match. He accepts the warning.
Captain Graham Barrett is transfer listed. Not sure what that will do to morale...but he's making 375 a week and doesn't see the green much. Gavin Caines is sent off for a week again. Tired.

That went about as expected. They scored early and late. Tried to keep it close and did. Once I turned up the steam we allowed the second goal.
Gavin Falconer picked up a yellow. Nalborski's complaint didn't bother me. He didn't hit the ground. Overall, a decent game against a far superior team. I'll take the effort. Falconer 6.6, Ladapo 5.9 Jarvis 6.8, Lampkin 6.6, Nalborski 6.8 Daniel 5.8, Joyce 6.8, Hessey 6.7, Troke 6.7, Bailey 6.6 Gilpin 6.5 Lacey 6.7, Andrews 6.7, Dyer, ZC 6.7, Benjamin
