I agree with DT. Of course, I basically said what he's being saying all day, first, very early in the morning, not that anyone noticed.
I would rather get a possible wolf than an obvious janitor, when the janitor figures in our numbers. That said, I agree with the sentiment that we can't let RPI wait too much longer. Tomorrow probably, day after that at the latest. Interesting, BTW, that the voting trends have led me back to Gramm, even though I backed off of on my earlier suspicion. But better Gramm than RPI...this night at least. UNVOTE HANNIBAL VOTE GRAMM

before the vote - i don't think i ever responded to your comment about being in the thread but being at your desk at work all day Gram - just want you to know that i totally understand that (do it myself actually) and i'm not in any way giving that any weight in terms of my vote for you Gram. so don't feel like that's damned you in any way.

this shit with RPI-Fan is pretty ridiculous. He better either be the last wolf and be doing this intentionally or else he better have some serious RL-excuse.

Always frustrating when people are not able to take an active role in the game. Hope that all is OK with RPI-Fan.

I guarded Jeheinz tonight, so in the event I am dead, Heinz should be cleared.

I wasn't convinced Jeheinz was a wolf, but I was suspicious of the roommate situation and in the event he is good Jeheinz along with Barkeep would be valuable people to have cleared.

4 - RPI-Fan - Hannibal (719), Barkeep (730), Abe Sargent (811), Grammaticus (888),
6 - Grammaticus - Telle (814), jeheinze (816), DaddyTorgo (836), jeff061 (874) Danny (905), CR (906) Most of the day it looks like the geeky kid who never speaks and sits in the corner all day playing WoW was going to buy it. Then suddenly the tide shifts from RPIFan to Grammaticus. You all string Gramm up, waiting for him to turn hairy but nothing happens, he was a student. |

BTW, if there is a night kill, that also clears RPI of any chance of being the last wolf, he hasn't had any activity on the board in a few days, so he wouldn't have put in a kill.

well if RPI Fan hasn't had any board activity than i hope that things are okay with him. i hadn't checked that cuz i didn't really want to meta-game in that way. |

You all wake up the next morning to find Danny ripped to pieces, his bloody varsity jacket cast aside.
What will the football team do now you all wonder? Then realize they weren't very good to begin with |

Ugh, not all that comfortable with the meta-gaming. That said, good point, Danny.
BTW, you sure you can protect yourself from heinz if he is indeed the wolf? Since you will already be there? I don't know the BG rules in this game too well. I remember the roommate rule, and that's about it.

Whoops, Lathum is too fast, no response.
That said, assuming that a protectee wouldn't have some same advantage to killing the BG like the roommate would, it would seem Danny has cleared heinz for us. Danny may have not played a faultless game, but who does? He did a ton more for us than most (while, given, his role allows him the opportunity, too). Also the confirmation on RPI, not that that matters to me. I couldn't see any scenario where it made sense for RPI to be anyone but the janitor. Hope he's okay, BTW.

As for Danny's play, don't agree with him not protecting the Seer, but I did see the reasoning. Other than that I think he's had a very good game. |

I explained myself on that. But if that doesn't help, nothing else I can really say , so pick away. I am going to say me jumping around yesterday sparked a lot of talk and debate which is a good thing. That is a large part of what I was going for. The other being trying to make sure we don't vote for RPI(my initial vote for him was before DT posted his thoughts on that). I'm leaning towards Chief Rum today. He's posted enough including some thought out ones, has been around and has still been able to stay under the radar. And to be honest, I tend to believe the last wolf is someone who did not defy DTs logic. Not going to vote now to avoid what happened yesterday. I'm hoping we can spark a discussion without me putting someone's name in bold though. |

jeff just because there is an explanation doesn't mean it's true. I feel that the quick vote for RPI, when it looked like he was going to be a runaway, followed by an attempt to be on someone else, anyone else, is something that makes sense for a wolf in this situation. I'm going to put my money where my mouth is.
Vote Jeff |

Heh, pretty slim there. I'll defend myself more if I feel the need to. Especially since I imagine I've pissed some people off who will vote for me for that reason alone.
In any case, I hold firm to the belief the final would is not going to have disagreed with DT. If only BECAUSE of my voting pattern yesterday and how I was able to shift focus(see that BK). I'd look at Rummie followed by Telle for those reasons was well as both have been around enough to make the proper plays for the Wolves. |

That's my belief, there's only one wolf and the wolves can not attack while being watched over. See the 1st night. It was a good play by Danny.

FTR, it was my logic first. DT just expanded on it with pointing out how long we had to go before we could remove RPI Fan. So, kinda odd that you suspect me for not disagreeing with...myself!

I am going to say this with CR and jeff here so they can defend themselves.
I think CR and jeff are good votes today. I'm looking at roommates. My guess is that we have a wolf with a roommate out there. Pairs left include BK-CR, where BK is cleared, and jeff-me, where I know I'm fine. Also telle-HL, but I don;t have a take there. So, CR and jeff, I'm looking your way, and I'd love to hear thoughts about my thoughts.

No, we only know they can't attack someone else. I'm not so sure they couldn't attack the BG when he's right there. I tried to talk about that at the deadline last night, but Danny was removed too fast. All that said, I tend to agree that it is unlikely that heinz is the wolf. Of course, I never thought he was the wolf, just based on his play, but that's just me.

Hmm, well, if we reverse that logic, you're as potentially wolfy as Jeff and I. It's only to you that you're not a wolf, which, of course, is a supposition we can't assume ourselves. In any case, I think we have two stronger vote plays in Hannibal and RPI. Hannibal has still made the single most questionable vote in this entire game so far, and we have yet to question it, which is pretty stunning, IMO. And as I stated yesterday, I don't think we should wait too much longer on RPI. One more day starts to move us into the realm where his presence becomes a potential voting deterrent.
