On an unrelated note, I got my first juror summons in about 6 years today in the mail. I was probably overdue for one. It is a summons for a court in the middle of nowhere from here though. Hope I don't get sequestered!

I'm a huge nerd because I seriously love jury duty. I've never gotten on a case, but I think it's fascinating!

Hagiwara Shines in Gem
Tuesday, September 23rd, 2087: It was a smooth and solid performance by Hayato Hagiwara of the Georgia Devils against Boston today. He crafted a fine 1-hitter in blanking them 2-0 and chalked up 7 strikeouts and 1 walk along the way.

"It certainly makes my job easy," said the Georgia skipper. "When my pitcher pitches a shutout. I can just sit back, watch and enjoy."

Looking at his season stats, Hagiwara has won 8 and lost 11, collecting 139 strikeouts and 58 walks in 181.2 innings with a 3.22 ERA.

Oh I'm not upset about it. I love shows like Law and Order and am sure I'll love it.

I don't want a prolonged duty solely because of my family... and of course you all, what would you do without FOOL ball for that week?

We would miss it...I mean you.

I think that's the only problem, leaving my students for that long. Though I'd probably secretly love the break!

Boston and Tokyo are still mathematically alive.

Ann Arbor has a magic number of 9

Why is it always Baltimore in the way when I'm going for the most-titles status?!

They aren't going to let you climb over them without a fight
