CL Announces Rookie of the Month
Wednesday, August 1st, 2091: Roger Laughren is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Continental League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers.

In July the Georgia hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .352 average with 32 hits, 3 home runs and 15 RBIs.

Mendoza is one of my favorite players of all time and I hated to let him go but we had to make a decision and money won out

Apex has a magic number of 6
Georgia has a magic number of 6

Baltimore, Tokyo, Napa Valley and Noblesville are still mathematically alive.

Hartford has a magic number of 8
Colorado has a magic number of 8

Hammersmith is the only other RL team mathematically alive.

For all of the beatings my preseason predictions take, they are pretty much dead on right now. 3 team race in the RL and 6 team race in the CL!

I almost decided I wasn't going to look until the morning when I saw the first standings and I was last with no pitchers on the leaderboard. I'm happy I changed my mind.

Thanks everyone. Maybe I can finally be that bride again instead of the bridesmaid. Or should I say groom instead of groomsmen.
