Kathy Griffin would like to apologize for the obvious publicity stunt to get Kathy Griffin back in the public eye, and promises that Kathy Griffin will never do something so distasteful and over the line again until Kathy Griffin needs more publicity the next time

As a Dem/liberal, I'll all for protests against Trump. That? no way in hell. He's against about everything I believe in, but a lot of people voted for him and wanted him to do these things. If he gets us involved in a nuclear war (if I'm still around after the first bombs), that kind of action might be understandable if not desirable.

It's just stupid because all a stunt like that accomplishes (besides giving her a short term publicity bump) is riling up his base with another example of "all them liberals..." and possibly pushing back anyone on the fence who doesn't want to associate themselves with a schmuck like her.

Let Trump and co fail on their own if that is your goal. They don't need help like this.

I agree-there's already been a lot of stuff he's done that's riled up Dem's/liberals. Build on that and what he's going to do over the next 3 years. We don't need stunts like that. I hope CNN fires her from her New Year's Eve coverage with Anderson.

Exactly and got just what you wanted. To be honest this shit from both sides is just disgusting to me. As much as I dislike Trump, she crossed well over the line, as did the asshats that burned Obama in effigy. Which interestingly enough was just a harmless expression of frustration to those that would now hang Griffin, and vice versa, and so on, blah, blah, blah.
