I love seeing O'Bannon's name being thrown around by us UCLA fans here. Still love the guy, and I'm glad he's still playing somewhere. But my favorite player of all time was his teammate, whom my friends and I still simply call "God"...

...Tyus Edney!

P.S. Dargone, welcome to the forum from another big time Angels fan. We need more of us around, especially with all the disrespect we're getting from the pundits so far this season.

The question was "Who is your favorite athlete of all time?" None of these people are athletes. They drive cars. Does it take skill? Yes. Are they athletes? No. Neither are golfers, bowlers, dart throwers, billiards players, etc. All very skilled and coordinated, but not athletes. There are some athletes (Tiger Woods) who do these things for a living, but in general they are not athletes. I am sorry. It's like people who build models. Takes a ton of skill and talent, but they are not athletes.
