No need to buy a game it is all on the forum. I would recommend reading an old game and the werewolf basics post.

The Day zero deadline will be 10 PM EST on Tuesday. I should get everything out in the AM tomorrow to give day zero a day and a half of discussion.

My guess is that looking at the Spawn game would be the best research for this game, it also had the mechanics of having to get work done and people holding different positions.

I just went back and reread the only WW game I played in. That happened to be WW5 (nearly 10 years ago).

Background

The second attempt to colonize Mars is underway. The first ended in tragedy. It is believed that the first colony shuttle crashed when landing, but no one knows exactly. They were landing, there was screaming, there was silence. The assumption is all died.

Supplies have been sent ahead to help get you started on building your society. It is possible that extra supplies can be found, the supplies sent for the first attempt.

The trip has been long and you have been revived from your induced coma which kept you stable for the trip. It is time to get down to business.

Quick details. Anything that is in purple is story related. Anything that is in red is GM related. It will be results, or requests for action, or just answers to questions.

Day zero has begun. You have the following actions to achieve as you are in your final decent towards Mars.

1) Elect a leader
2) Elect a primary doctor
3) Elect a primary scientist
4) Elect a primary engineer
5) Elect a Sherriff
6) Decide what you will work on when you first arrive (government, biodome, scientific research center, medical center)

Do not reveal your actual numbers for your skills. You may reveal your biography, as much as you feel comfortable. Everyone may have a secret that they do not want to get out so it is up to you what you reveal of your character.

The 21 Mars Colonists

News is widespread around earth of the 21 Mars colonists that will start a new society. Everyone is celebrating on board as you prepare to land but someone mentions something odd.

"The reports are of 21 colonists... there are 22 of us..."

The Bull Moose Special

One other color text will appear, blue. That will be this game's version of the bull moose special. An event that has been triggered by colonist actions.

I highly suggest that we start getting the biodome going, without food we have no chance for survival and nothing else is going to matter.

The 22nd must be a "non-colonist"... threat maybe? Food and water will be critical. Maybe quick search for previous landing attempt to seek clues as to what occurred? Screaming could have been something other than a crash and burn.

We need a Biodome first and foremost. A Government, Research Center and Medical Center are all fantastic, but we must have the means of proper shelter and a cultivated food source if we're going to survive longer than our predecessors.
