I hereby leave my land to brother Goodman Merriweather (J23) as I feel like I owe him something from the recent past.

Yeah it's a typical Day 1. No vote analysis to do yet.. seer doesn't know anything yet.. not really much of anything to talk about other than the little bit of kidding around that people have been doing.

Know what would have been cool? You do a Salem Witch Trial WW with no witches at all, you just let them think there are witches and laugh as they kill each other. Very appropriate to the subject.

That would have been a perfect April fool's game. Just don't know how to do the Nightkills, unless the mod did it. Goodman Vilkens, storekeeper reporting in. SALE! SALE! SALE! SALE! Having trouble with witches? Don't know who turn turn too? Neighbors dropping like flies? Butter won't churn? Well come on down to Goodman Vilken's store off the corner of Salem Way and Salem Dr., we're having a sale on Magic Repelling Amulets! Guranteed to protect the villager from all supernatural beings, witches, vampires, werewolves, zombies, republicans, people with no sense of humor. Wear the amulet around your neck and you have immunity from any such evil force, rub the amulet 3 times chanting the name of a fellow villager to discover their allegiance. Also a great fashion accessory. So sound good? Buy one amulet for the very low cost of all the crops, gold, and cattle you have as well as signing over all lands owned. Small price to pay for life wouldn't you say product may or may not work depending on the price paid at time of sale, side effects include suspicion of witchcraft from fellow villagers, overconfidence, nausea, indigestion, stroke, heart attack, and anal seepage. Absoloutely no refunds.

As an idea for what we have here, with 15 players we are looking at a minimum of 3 wolves, maximum of 4. I think the most likely scenario is 3 wolves and a sorcerer. We'll have the standard seer and BG. I think the other depend on number of wolves. If there are four wolves, there is no chance at a sorcerer or brutal. With three wolves (with or without sorcerer) I think Autumn puts in the brutal. I think there is likely a duke, especially if the brutal is in and I think there is likely no lovers with only 15 players.
My overall scenario includes, seer, bg, duke, sorcerer, brutal and two regular wolves. |

I'm also not a big fan of the back and forth, I vote you, you vote me pattern we are seeing here so far. I'll definitely be looking at those who voted second is that exchange as possible candidates today.

And I don't like the first votes that are based on previous games, it's such an easy way to hide a vote on the first day. I don't need to keep my vote on clap but at this point, it's seemingly better than a random vote. |

I'll probably look at those as well, but I don't really have too much issue with the initial PB vote. I got that same kind of vote after a similar wolf game as PB and that person was a villager. Coincidentally I was a wolf again.

There's what, 4 or 5 votes so far? I assume it's my vote you're referring to as being based on the previous game -- do you really see it as more hidden than the other votes somehow? I think by nature of it being the first vote overall, it's way less hidden. Anyway, don't worry -- my style is generally to switch votes often. |

Agreed, Day 1's suck. It's all about luck, and the chances of getting a wolf are slim unless you are Alan and get a vibe. Grr.

This post makes no sense to me. We are told in teh first post of the thread that we know, for sur,e there are witches here. I say it would be thematic to have a Salem game with no witches at all, in order to reflect reality. What is wolfish there?

I'm voting for claphamsa because that post seemed like a desperate way to get heat off himself by disparaing somethign really out there. And for not making sense.

I there honestly a difference between voting ramdom and voting for previous game reasons. TBH I am more willing to vote for someone if they went deep/ had a cool role last game. Not because I think they are more or less likely to have a role, but because I think it keeps a certain balance. |

I think it's much easier to hide a vote with a previous game reason. Later in the game when someone analyzes your day 1 vote you can just say oh, it was because of last game! And it generally looks much less suspicious than a "random" vote. The wolves know who they're voting for and the villagers don't. |

Also, as I've stated many times in the past, I dislike baseless runs, especially when they are on me.
