I propose that Kodos start a poll-thread where we vote how to move forward.

They have been really good in pass protection but cant open any holes. The receivers need to catch the ball.

The Giants barely made the playoffs last year, and won the Super Bowl with one of the hottest 4 game streaks in NFL history. I don't see how people have expectations that they're going to be dominant in any way, shape, or form this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost 10 games.

Yet Al is trying to convince us that they are the model NFL franchise.

You were critical of someone earlier this thread about the 49ers and asked how much niner football they watched, I could ask you the same about the Giants last year.

They had injuries most of the year and got healthy the right time. They have a 2 time Superbowl MVP at QB, 2 all pro caliber receivers, pro bowlers on the O-Line and the best D-Line in football.

Teams in the NFL don't "get hot" for 4 games in the play offs, it doesn't happen. They won because the peaked at the right time and have tons of talent, to sell them short is a huge disservice to them.

The Giants may end up having to send Bill Belichick a thank you note for taking Ballard off waivers. When the Giants signed Bennett, I thought he may end up, overall, being an upgrade and so far, he's been solid.

Does a fan have a whistle or something? I swear every other play on a Cowboys possession someone is blowing a whistle at random.

I thought that one play was a delay of game, then they went ahead and it counted.

If Eli Manning screamed "NOOOOOOOO!" while being slammed from the top rope.. I'd watch.

I don't remember the regular refs blowing the whistle 80 times to stop each play.

The rules for roughing the passer say the head or neck area.

"In covering the passer position, Referees will be particularly alert to fouls in which defenders impermissibly use the helmet and/or facemask to hit the passer, or use hands, arms, or other parts of the body to hit the passer forcibly in the head or neck area (see also the other unnecessary-roughness rules covering these subjects). So that was about 45 yards of offense and 245 yards of back and forth penalties.

Murray probably would have scored if Bryant doesn't give up on blocking there.

Quickly TiVo'ed back to that Cruz drop and he tried to trap it against his body. That's usually what leads to drops like that. Catch with your hands, not with your body.

Seriously? A blitz that leaves CB #5 on an island on the most important play of the game when he's been getting burned all game?
