Yea, that's kind of what I mean. I do like the song...but it's intense in such a different way, for me at least.

Thanks Shortie3281. The code seems pretty much the same as that which I copied from the source code or previous posts

I came across this video when researching early rock and roll for my daughter's school project on Buddy Holly a few days ago. It blew my mind though I'm not sure if it will survive the test of time. It's Rory Gallagher's tribute to the guy and song that put guitars into the hands of Lennon, McCartney and many of the British youngsters that went on to revive r n r in 1963. It's Gallagher's version of Rock Island Line with a power that would have Seeger rushing to unplug the amplifiers two minutes into the video

When the video finishes and the links to other videos comes up the second video from the left is the original song from 1955. The video on the the extreme right is another song by the same artist if this early stuff is for you.

Pretty much anything by Bone Thugs n Harmony gets me in the mood to just knock the fuck out somebody. I love their stuff and I'm not sure what fires me up about some of their slowest paced songs, probably the vocals.

Does part of a song count? The last minute of Mastodon's "Sea Beast" makes me wanna kill people...but the first three minutes just make me wanna press stop.

Protest The Hero - Bloodmeat (She Who Mars the Skin of Gods is up there too)

Rise Against - State of the Union

and of course, with Iron Maiden - Aces High (if you had to pick one song about being a fighter pilot and shooting down Nazis, this would be it)

O Fortuna (they used to do this before hockey games here - dim the lights, put on the smoke and strobe machines and play this, have the team skate out at the 1:42 mark.)

Nightwish - Crimson Tide cover

Machine Head - From This Day. The opening riff alone "looks" like a series of explosions going off in my minds eye. The song itself isn't that great, but the opening riff..

The name of the band is enough to jack you up:

Also can't go wrong with Clutch, pretty much anything off Blast Tyrant works for this thread.

Fear Factory - Shock was the one that always got me frothing at the mouth. The first minute got me so amped I would hear him yelling SHOCK when I would hit someone. I can literally feel the release of adrenaline in my body when I listen to it even now. I was laying here sick just a few minutes ago, now I feel like I could blow something up by punching it.

Or The Wedding List.

But if we're not talking Kate Bush, the Theme from Rocky, and Eye of the Tiger are good choices, too.
