The 2028 NFL Amateur Draft:

I draft Fiste. I just need the look and interview by my new OC great here to make this work.

Near the end of the 2nd round here. Who do I like? We have a 6.5 DT for 4-3 named Varela, I don’t need it. I could use RT for Moton, or ILB for MacPhail or S but that’s a lesser need, or OG. Backup RB, stud TE, backup DT, depth for LB, or just a strong BAP. Everywhere but D Line or WR. Even a stud FB. My coaches like OT Jevon Bailey who is the 2nd best OT, but just 5.5. Overrated? Who else.

I love OLB RJ Counts, best as a 3-4 OLB at 5.9 and very underrated.

OG Simon Anderko – 5.3 – top OG. Hard to Read – Run block specialist,

SILB Conor Edison - The best ILB and 5.6 – As Scouted

I got a draft trade for Washington for this pick for their 2 5ths this year and 6th next, and that’s great since I just moved stuff. I really like Counts, but his bars are just okay. He would need to grow. If it were 3rd, I’d be more likely to pull the trigger. Counts, Edison or Bailey? He’s Overrated, Counts or Edison or Anderko? Very Underrated or better bars Hard to Read? My DC is 70 in interviews but just 50 in scouting. If they miss, all but Bailey are useful for depth as I have three OG and we lost 3 LBs. We are a 3-4, but also need a strong Oline. Neither upgrade would be major, both are low to mid 50s and none of these have bars to blow you out.

I go with the needed ILB of Edison.

3rd? All 6s are off save for Qbs. I still need a RB, two are near the top named Ruben Mar, 5.6, Mayar, 5.6, and a few at 5.5 too. Is this a good place to snag one? My staff want OG Chester Robinson, who is 4.8, tied for 3rd best and As Scouted.

What about RT? Four 5.4 Ots are left, two of which are RTs. They are As Scouted and Very Overrated. The As Scouted one is Theodore but he looks not great with the bars. Any lower than 5.4?

I get a Trade Offer from Tampa Bay for this pick and their 4th, 6 and 7 next. Maybe

Let’s see if I can fit need to the BAP.

5.3 RT are Caleb Morton, then 5.1 to Asher Doss. Both of those are very overrated or hard ot read

RB?

It’s deep and two Overrated in the top 4, what about OG Robinson? He’s…okay, an okay everywhere, not specialized in anything.

CB Donny Schroeder – Very Underrated, top CB, 5.5. Not great bars

I take the trade. They are not for this year but future ones where I traded

4th round is here: I take RB Ruben Bar from last pick still around.

5th – My staff want DT Rickey Sappington who is 5.2 and very overrated.

Draft offer for this pick from Tennessee for their 6th and 7th in 2030. That’s when I am getting the Tama Pick i think. I would do it for 2029.

Who do I like here? OG Geoffrey Rosas 4.3, underrated.

6th round -6.29, my staff like TE Khalil Terry who is the top TE left at 4.4 y 0.3 and is Hard to Read I snag him,

7th is here – There a very overrated 5.0 LB left, but I go with As Scouted ILB Darnell Jordan 4.8

7.36 – Comp Pick – S Bill Henn, 4.1, Underrated

The 2028 Carolina Panthers Draft:

1.1 – QB Harold Fiste, Ohio State, 49/74
2.29 – SILB Conor Edeson, Cincinnati, 36/58
3.29 – TRADE
4.29 – RB Ruben Bar, App State, 38/43
5.29 – OG Geoffrey Rosas, Florida State, 20/28
6.29 – TE Khalil Terry, Monmouth, 26/39
7.29 – MLB Darnell Jordan, Northern Illinois, 26/42
7.36 – S Billy Henn, Georgia, 22/33

The man starts out better than Price! Edeson would be great late if he holds. Rosas will need to grow loads. Jordan not that bad that late.

Our Stadium Recon Vote Passes!!!

The 2028 NFL Late Free Agency:

I have 53 on my roster, open cap space of 12.84 mill.

I extend:

SS Winfield for 25.22 mill two years
FS Holland two years 19.6 mill
DE Kidder for 7.2 mill, 2 years
P Coby Allen for 15.8 mill 5 years

16.7 now

I make offers to these UFAs;

QB Marlon Cadogan – 39/52 – 3 years plus some
TE Bubby McAlister – 28/52 – 3 years plus some
RT Mohammed Silva – 16/49 – 3 years

That leaves me a few million for cash to Sign other FAs.

Free:

The best is 8th year TE vet Kyle Pitts with a 55/55 rating and wants 17.3 mill and 7.78 cap hit this year base. I could bring him in and then have him and Schultz as my top two TEs, and then cut Engram and save 2.83 mill and based on how McAllister pans out also Chayefsky and new rookie Terry and if Schultz at 50/50 busts, cut him. If I offered him and signed for 8.25 cap hit plus the 3 mill rough UFAs with bonuses, that would leave me around 5 mill for emergencies and minor stuff later before I cut Engram

The other good FAs are 51/51. None are Ots. At 50/50 SLB Jones is still free

Do I want to cut MacPhail now so Ederson can start? I’ll wait until after preseason in case he busts. But then I couldn’t sign a replacement. But 36 current and 52 current are pretty different. He just wants 10.29 mil for three years but I need to upgrade my LB Corps. I do not cut him since Ederson is pretty green,

I make a 2.53 mill two year offer for WILB Wallace 46/46 to return since we lost four and brought in three.

I offer Kyle Pitts at 8.25 mill cap this year. I have the cash.

Day 2 – Signing are Silva, Cadogan and McAlister – all UFAs

UFAs:

QB Marlon Cadogan – 38/51
TE Bubby McAlister – 29/51
RT Mohammed Silva – 16/44

Silva a big drop, but the other two UFAS re just one minus, if they hold…

Day 3 – WILB Wallace rejoins us

Day 4 – Kyle Pitts arrives, I cut Engram

I extend OG Patrick since I couldn’t find a replacement for 2 years, 12.9 mill cap lower from 8.5 to 7.6

I don’t extend Moton.

I have left for new folks 7.57 mill

I end late fee agency

The NFL 2028 Preseason:

I have 57 players and head to the new playbook with my new OC’s spread offense

We enter training camp

Week 2 – At Baltimore – Can I sweep for a fourth season in row? Out of five? We lose a close one 17-20.

Week 3 – New York Jets – We win a close one 27-24. WILB Wallace injured but just questionable

Week 4 – Cleveland – We win 21-10.

CB Hansel is out for 13 weeks, we toss him on IR

I cut these 8:

QB Stock – Cadogan is a bit higher pot after falling
TE Chayefsky
WR Bury
S Billy Henn
S Garcia

It looks like Silva was cut by my coaches after I gave them minor roster decisions in the year.

Cut MacPhail; I moved Ederson to WILB, MacPhail’s spot
Cut ILB Hobby

I want to cut NT 40/40 Naquan Jones because my coach is starting him over Johnson. And the 8th year vet is fully developed. DT Saenz is 38/38 and is cut, I’ll leave my DC their Jones.

Rookie Lookie #2:

1.1– QB Harold Fiste, Ohio State, 49/74, 53/70
2.29 – SILB Conor Edeson, Cincinnati, 36/58, 44/56
3.29 – TRADE
4.29 – RB Ruben Bar, App State, 38/43, 31/33
5.29 – OG Geoffrey Rosas, Florida State, 20/28, 23/29
6.29 – TE Khalil Terry, Monmouth, 26/39, 29/40
7.29 – MLB Darnell Jordan, Northern Illinois, 26/42,
7.36 – S Billy Henn, Georgia, 22/33, 26/27 - CUT

Please don’t bust Fiste. Is Terry rising?

UFA:

QB Marlon Cadogan – 38/51, 37/44
TE Bubby McAlister – 29/51, 32/48
RT Mohammed Silva – 16/44, CUT by OC

Here is the man and the Panther Hope!

Fiste is studly everywhere save for Footwork, Confidence and that’s it.

Here’s the 2028 Panthers Starting Roster:

I have sorted by potential so you can see our subs. I also am showing you their year. Taylor dropped to 54/54, Schultz to 45/45, OG Patrick to 49/49, C Dalman to 49/49, Winfield to 61/61, Stingley to 53/53, McLaurin to 53/53 but not Tee Higgins. My defense is studly and should keep us in games we need to upgrade that O Line next year massively. DE Kidder rose to 53/53, Johnson is starting for all pass rush downs, but Jones is a pass rush specialist.

No one left can help my team so we are here for the future.

Week 15 – New England – We thump them 38-14. Fiste 21 of 33 for 274 and 5:0; wow that’s a lot of scores. Legette 7 for 101 and 2 scores, 2 more Higgins and one by McLaurin. No pics, we recovered fumbles though. FS Holland, LB Tuipulotu and WLB Streb recovered, FF by DE Williams, NT Jones, DE Hockenhull. 1.5 sacks by Kidder, 3 KRB by Montano

LT Walker is doubtful for 3 weeks

Week 16 – At Atlanta – Will they sweep us? Nope we win, oddly by smashing them in their places just like ours 37-17. Fiste – 23 of 20 for 402 and 3:0. Fiste is punching that Rookie wall. Legette 11 for 188 and 2 scores, the other is TE Pitts. Pick by Horn, 5 kRb by Montano 3 by Dalman.

Week 17 - New York Jets – 33-20. Fiste is thumping with 26 of 33 for 400 yards and 4:1. Legette is 7 for 146 and a score; McLaurin is 5 for 104, scores by TE Pitts twice and WR deLucia added by my HC. Pick by Wade-Smith and 2 sacks by Streb, 4 KRB by Patrick, SIX by Montano,

Week 18 – The last game is here!!! Fiste is 4257 yards heading into the final game with that huge yardage display. Can he move into a stronger spot? New Orleans today – Can ww finish with a win into the playoffs? Dallas are 12-4, so if we win, we get #1 seed, no resting starters. We lose close 27-30.

Taylor is one rush score, Fiste is 34 of 45 for 372 yards but 2:3. That’s how you lose. Leggette was 11 for 127, scores by Schultz and TE McAlister. No TOs or sacks, we needed our D to show up. 5 KRB by Dalman 3 by Moton

We finish 13-4

NFC South:

Carolina Panthers – 13-4
New Orleans – 9-8 – WC
Tampa Bay - 8-9
Atlanta 8-9

I end the season.

The 2029 NFL Offseason:

GM Eval – 55 – I made It to the Super Bowl! What else could my owner want?

I have been 4-12-1, 6-13, 10-7x2 division winner and now 13-4

Retirements of Note:

Coming back – RT Moton, without a deal, TE Schultz, ditto, RB Taylor, Higgins, McLaurin, LS Triner, DE Williams, C Dalman, SS Winfield, - all ten year vets. 9 year are Holland, Horn, TE Pitt, SLB Clark, NT Johnson,

Salary cap rises by 4.1 mill

Stadium stuff: It will open 2033, we were 90 full so I drop our TIX. I Drop Upper Deck by 3, Luxury boxes by 50k.

The 2029 NFL Hall of Fame:

49ers legend OT Trent Williams

That’s it

Staff Draft:

As a reminder, DC Quinn Carver and Head Trainer Elliot Easley are out of their deal after not signing with us last year. They were both strong. I head to Staff Draft and skip past OC,

DC:

Is Quinn on the list? Yes! Awesome, anyone better in 3-4? He is very intelligent (90) good playcalling at 70, 90 motivation, 70 interviews, dev, 50 scouting, low in youth and displicpline. I’d love a better scout if possible. I’d swap that 90 motivation all day. Just two weakness. He’s True 3-4, and good with secondary and 54 years old. Anyone else in True 34? His PC is tied for the best.

EJ Speed - 33 year, True 34, 2nddary too, just two low too – they are interviewing and displinice at 40. Not bad. He is 80 dev, 70 scouting, 60 playcalling, motivation, INT, 50 youth, Not bad at all. Young and may be able to grow.

I bring back Quinn.

Head Trainer:

Is Easley here? Nope he was hired earlier this round by the 49ers

I am hiring Benjamin Cabral - 36 years, STR -70, CON – 60 – INT 50

He’s the best at all three things but this is a HUGE Downgrade from Easley who was 100 STR, 60 CON and 90 INT

We are drafting 31. The draft class is revealed. Pittsburgh has our 1/31pick.

This is a 3 QB draft with 9.0, 8.8 and 7.7 in the top 10.

I will need depth here, since I am not drafting first, and will need to get more FA talent. At 2.31 that’s basically in the 3rd round, so just BAP. There is a 6.5 stud TE for once.

Anyone I want to Tag? Coming free of note are WR McLaurin, and RB Taylor, who I figured would have busted by now. I’ll had to FA Day 1 since they are 53 and 54. The problem with Taylor is that Fiste took a lot of his carries, and we need a better Oline too, so maybe only if cheap.

The 2029 NFL Early Free Agency:

I have free 86.4 mill since my draft is missing 1st round.

Day 1 –

I have 33 on my roster

Free:

QB Price – I offer him 18.07 mill 3 years
FB Mitchell – Since I am moving to Spread, I feel a FB isn’t needed anymore and will let him go
TE Schultz - 45/45 12th year vet, wants just one year at 3.34. I do it, since I can free him for little cap stuff
RT Moton – Wants just 3.9 for this year. Who is coming free in FA? RT 60/60 Keyshawn Blakely
WR McLaurin – Wants 11.3 mill for two years. That’s a cap hit this year of 5.3. I do so
RB Taylor – Wants 8.2 mill for two years, cap hit this year of 3.8

Let’s talk about Taylor. Here are his carries last year with the scrambling Fisk in a Spread offense:

255, 1175 yards, 4.61 ypc – Strong stuff

Here were his carries before:

2027 – 348, 1352, 3.91 ypc
2026 – 322, 1511, 4.69 ypc

You can see studly ypc last year too. Here were Fiste’s:

79, for 512 yards, 6.48 ypc

We don’t know how many of those were planned or broke down pass plays. For comparison here is Price two years ago:

67, 330,

So it doesn’t seem like that was planned. Who cut into Taylor;s carries last year then? Bar and Mauro has 66 and 64 each. FB Mitchell was 3. Maybe this is a swap over to Spread from Air Coryell by my OC. I sign Taylor, you cannot deny a 4.61 ypc for a 10th year vet at this spot.

Anyone else to make offers too coming free?

Here is who is coming free:

WR Flood, Mingo, de Lucia
OT Kitchen, Moton
OC Lemanksi
OG Bently
DE Williams, Munoz
DT Jones
CB Reed, Alvares
LB Frazier and Tuitolopu

CB Reed, 47/47, wants to sign 6.78 for two years

WR Flood, 47/47 wants 17.65 for 3 years, 4.9 mill hit this year – I want to leave this 4th WR spot open for draft and UFA, but that leaves me with just 3 WR on my roster. Flood is young too. Any good WRs coming free? I feel like 5 mill for a 47/47 is a bit much in a year when I need to use that cash to renovate my Oline, right?

Mingo is 44/44, he wants 2.97 mill on 2 years. I do that.

CB Alvares – 33/48 is solid in Special Teams at 50/56 and 2nd year. They want minsal for two years with a 40k bonus I do it

OLB Tuitolopu is is a 41/41 guy signed by us last year as injury replacement, is year 7 but 51 special teams, but I won’t resign him.

I have on my roster 39 signed and 13 Free agents

Who is coming free next year for extensions?

WLB Streb – 61/61, he was a rookie – with a cap hit of 1.83 he wants 36.10 mill 3 years which is an increase to 10 mill this year:

OG Montano – 66/66 – Also a rookie, with a cap hit of 3.21, wants 46.2 mill for 4 years, increase this year to 9.7. I sign him, as part of my Line needs.

TE Pitts – I’ll let him go he was a late FA cap space free thing. He wants 23.2 two mill cap rise of 3 mill
FL Higgins – I’ll let go as older 53
C Dalman - I’ll let go
NT Jonhson – Older, wants 7.35 mill for 2 years, cap drop from 4.36 to 4.2, but he’s 8th year vet and 30. I do it.
FS Holland - Cap hit of 10.18, wants two years at 18 mill to raise the cap a bit to 10.43, I do it.
CB Horn – Cap hit 14.73, wants 35.7 for two years to increase to 17.5. I do it.
SS Winfield – 13.78 cap hit, wants extension of 2 years at 19.69 drop cap hit to 12 mil even – do it
CB Stingley – Last year’s nickelback, I’ll let go

What to do with Streb? I could hold off until later in FA and draft to see if I can find a replacement. The FA doesn’t have that good of a WLB there, but I could wait until post draft to see if I grab one, but at 2.31 and on, I feel like finding a good one in the 60s when I have needs at O Line, I’ll hold off until later in FA to see if I have the cap space for this increase in cap space of 8.2 mill.

I move to Day 2.

I have in cap space now 59.17 mill, I want to keep free 10 for after draft, and ideally 18.2 for Streb too. So around 40, but I can go over a bit and resign Streb and then have 8 mill or so.

Let’s start with O Line, who is free:

I need everything but LG. LT Walker and C Dalman are okay subs, but I need stars and starters alike

Let’s start with C. Dalman was my 2nd best Ol last year, as a reminder. We have 6, the top five are all Dalman’s age.

The youngest is 54/54 6 yar vet Michael Niese. He wants 24.96 mil for 3 years, cap hit this year of 6.76

OC Lloyd Cushionberry - Stud 69/69 C with 10 years of experience, wants 45.84 for 3 years, 13.14 this year,

Niese is cheapest and worst but young and wont fall.

Ot:

Most important since Moton left and Walker is just 48/48
LT 80/80 12 year vet wants 30 mill/year.

RT Keshawn Bailey - 60/60 5th year vet wants to sign 52.64 mill for four years, 9.9 this year cap hit; the top RT, four LTs are higher. They all want mad money. Any in the prime rather than too old?

Two are 6th years, 62/62 JC Latham and 60/60 Kiran Amegadije

LT Latham – Wants 117 mill for 5 years, cap hit year of 16.48, 62/62

LT Kiran Amegadije – Wants 107 mill for 5 years, cap hit this year of 15.212

What about lower, any cheaper LTs? Any budget ones in the 50s?

Nope, All cheap LTs are in 30s and low 50s like 51 and 52 – that’s my Kidder

What about OG?

There are two younger Ogs in the 70s wanting 13 and 15 mill cap hit this year

OG Walter Robert – 5th year vet, 65/65, wants 5 year deal for 62.42 mill so cap hit this year at 8.78.

To offer Robert, Amegadije, Bailey and Niese is a total of 40.65 base and then a few million more to make the bonuses sign with us. Let’s say 44 mill for 500 with C and 1 mill with the others

I make all four offers,

Day 3 – Niese accepts! I cut Dalman and free up 5.4 mill

Day 7 - The LT Amegadjie signs!

Day 8 – RT Blakeley signs! One left!

Day 10 - I have a trade offer from the Bengals for Horn, no thanks

Day 11 – Robert signs. I move Montano RG since he’s LG like them, and sometimes my OC will start just the one.

I have free in cap space of 22.64. I extend Streb. Now it’s 14.47 after releasing Dalman.

Any cheap FAs to chase that are left?

CB Landon Caputo – 5th year, 59/59, wants two years of 6.75 cap hit of 3 mill this year. He would be my new nickelback for 53/53 Stingley. Also 72 special teams. I offer him at 3220 with 500 bonus boost.

CB Hansal is my kick returner with 52 and Mingo 38.

Could I bring in a stud KR?

WR Felipe Brown – 4 year vet, 35/35 – PR 41, KR 87, special teams 90. Ouch. To sign he wants nothing since he won’t be available until late FA. I’ll wait he’s available since all of the rest good ones are older.

Day 12 – Caputo signs, cap is 11.2. Do I cut Stingley? I would free up 3.45 mill. I don’t want to cut our new dimeback and backup leaving this year

I head to end FA

No 5th year extensions this year, this was Plamondon’s 1st round draftee.

The 2029 NFL Amateur Draft

This should be faster since I am not worrying about the 1st round

2nd round? At the 2.31 spot are a few players in the low 6. Save for 6.7 DT for 4-3 who is Very Underrated. I need to BAP mostly

Needs for draft:

Stud TE, backup WR since I’ll want six with letting FB go; backup or future project C, 2 backup OG, backup DT, 2 backup LB, RT,

So I could grab Tae and then hope he becomes my new Johnson when he leaves next year. My staff want DT here too, but Kareem who is 6.2 and more of an NT naturally, he is very overrated. Other good folks are NT 6.2 Quintan Saad, Very Underrated. Clearly I am going DT/NT here, two are very underrated. DT Tae has better bars, but not NT I could draft him and move him to NT after the draft and give him weight. I grab Tae.

3rd? Three players in low 6s are left. NT Saad is there. Who is frumping around? I need two LBs, any good ones left? One 5.7, the rest are 5.4 and below. That is Brent Rentaria with a Hard to Read and an ILB. At 5.4 is very underrated OLB PJ MacMillian. My staff want WR JR Roe who is 5.4 and As Scouted and tied for top WR. There TE 4.9 and next is 4.5 but I don’t need another backup. All Ogs in the 5s are gone but 4.9 David Walls is underrated. Let’s go LB here. Rentaria? Roe? 5.4 OLB Very underrated named Ross? MacMillian? WLB MacMillian?

MacMillan! Has the best bars, and very underrated

4th? 4.31 is here! My staff want DT again this time Erik Rose. Is OG Walls left? Nope. 4.8 OG Lamont Heard is Hard to Read. RB Nicholas Jablonski is 5.6 and very underrated. As is 5.5 RB Chuck Hamed. The top WR is Hard to Read 5.3 Erick Lee. I’ll skip RB here I am full. Walls or Lee? Lee’s bars aren’t great and next is 5.1 WR As Scouted also bad bars. Any good Ots for leaving Khalil Kitchen? I take Herd, since I need two.

5th! My staff like S Grant Cavoretto who is the top FS at 4.5 and As Scouted. Is there a strong OT there? There are three 5.4 Ots and two 5.3. 5.4 Malinski is As Scouted; the other two overrated, the 5.3 are As Scouted (Amari Shelton) and Hard to Read (Carlos Waters). Can I find a solid backup future starter here? Who has the best bars? Malinski is, I snatch him

6? My staff want OG Felipe Dawson, I still need another sure. He is 4.7 and As Scouted. But it’s less of a need know that I grabbed Herd. I figured UFA for the other. Any other good folks free? Whos the Bap? WR Zachariah Hall is 5.1 and As Scouted .He’s a slot. Or WR 4.9 As Scouted. There is a WR Named Alejandro Sibley who looks great at KR. I snag him

7? My staff want FS Cavoretto I agree.

7.36 arrives, my staff want OG Jaleel Jordan who is the 3rd best and Overrated. I could snag another backup LB here. There are 5 with 5.1 or 5.0 on the board. Any underrated? The 5.1 one Joey Traylor is very underrated I snag hm.

The 2029 Carolina Panthers:

2.31 –NT Tae Krykhtine, Texas, 56/69;
3.31 – WLB PJ MacMillian, NC State, 41/55
4.31 – OG Lamont Herd, Utah, 26/52
5.31 – RT Michael Malinski, Penn State, 21/50
6.31 – WR Alejandro Sibley, Notre Dame,33/46
7.31 – FS Grant Cavoretto, Texas A&M, 25/45
7.36 – ILB Joey Traylor, Virginia, 30/41

I move Tae to NT. Tae looks late-mid 1st in quality, WLB MacMillian and Herd and Malinki are great backups and 55/55 if he develops is a fine starter. The last three are fine, and Traylor was very overrated and if they grow from 41 that could be a strong investment.

The NFL 2029 Late Free Agency:

I have 49 and 11.2 cap space to spend, I still need backup OG, 6th WR, DE, OC, and then BAP UFA

I offer these UFAs:

SLB Sergio Niswander – 26/52 – 3 years minsal plus bonus
NT Van Patrick – 26/50, ditto, if he’s good I could cut Johnson now to start Tae.
OG JB Gerrity – 18/46 ditto
WR Cary Ward – 28/46 ditto

2nd year:

OG Connor Brockman, 28/53, three years, 3.38 mill
OC Brett Snyder – 32/56 – 2 years, 2.56 mill

Who is the best cheap FA 53/53 SS Walker Connell, 2nd year, special teams of 100! Wowzer I wouldn’t have drafted Cavoretto. I offer him

WR Felipe Brown was signed back to his team.

Offer Connell? He could replace Hansel at 85. Or be defense against Holland/Windfield busting. I offer him 5.9 mil for three years

Day 2 - OG Garrity, OC Snyder and DT Patrick signed.

Day 3 - OG Brockman arrives – he arrives as a 28/48

Day 4 – S Connell and OLB Niswander join. That leaves Ward. He has another offer, I up what we are offering.

Day 5 – Ward joins.

Here are my UFAs:

SLB Sergio Niswander – 28/50
NT Van Patrick – 25/46
OG JB Gerrity – 17/39
WR Cary Ward – 27/45

I forgot backup DE. I offer to UFA DE Ted Leech

DE Ted Leech, 19/40

Ready for a little camp action?

The NFL 2029 Preseason:

I have a roster of 57.

Week 2 - at Pittsburgh – We win closely 28-27.

Week 3 - New York Giants – We win 27-23, another close one

Week 4 – At Baltimore – We show up, they don’t 35-15.

Rookie Lookie #2:

2.31 –NT Tae Krykhtine, Texas, 56/69; 62/71
3.31 – WLB PJ MacMillian, NC State, 41/55; 48/53
4.31 – OG Lamont Herd, Utah, 26/52 – CUT by OC
5.31 – RT Michael Malinski, Penn State, 21/50, 28/45
6.31 – WR Alejandro Sibley, Notre Dame,33/46, 39/49
7.31 – FS Grant Cavoretto, Texas A&M, 25/45; 29/45
7.36 – ILB Joey Traylor, Virginia, 30/41, 33/39

Tae rises a bit. MacMillian fell. Sibley rose. Traylor dropped instead of rising. They cut OG Herd since I signed an extra:

UFAs:

SLB Sergio Niswander – 28/50, 37/52
NT Van Patrick – 25/46 , 26/32
OG JB Gerrity – 17/39, 23/36
WR Cary Ward – 27/45, 30/41
DE Ted Leech, 19/40, 22/35

Rise of UFAs are rare.

I cut:

DT Johnson if Tae holds up in preseason, he dropped to 51/51 so that’s good.
ILB Darnell Jordon

S McHugh’s PR is 70. CB Nordstrom is 72. I cut S McHugh.
CB Stingley
WR Mingo fell to 35/35 he’s cut

Here’s my starting roster after a year of seasoning, drafting, and committing to O Line:

The 2029 Carolina Panthers

As you can seem I have sorted my list by pots again. The great news is that Fiste appears to haven’t busted year two like Plemondon. He’s now 63/71. Nasty stuff. All of my O Line are in the 50s and 60s, Montano and Robert are the class but LT’s not bad either. Rookie Tae is studly, and anchoring a studly D Line. 62/71 D line late 2nd round was lucky. Felix has dropped a bit to 55/55 no major issues , and Terrell is still strong. Fs Holland busted a bit to 53/53.No defensive starter in the sub 50s is starting, to even nickel. In skill potions, Taylor dropped again to 49/49. TE Pitts, WR Higgins and Legette haven’t moved. Te Terry is starting at FB. McLaurin busted to 46/46 at the slot. My best draft pick might, super secretly, be A. Shipley who was taken the 8th best WR on the board since he was a great returner and special teams ad has grown to 49/49 deep.

Here’s our highest pick:

Tae is my highest potential draft pick ever in this dynasty and is already starting and hopefully star. He’s amazing at passing and str, and okay at rush. He’s sharp too/ They say you need a stud NT to unlock the 3-4, hopefully this guy can! Last year was great with FF and Ints but not with sacks, will his arrive help?

Week 1 – Atlanta – We open with our rival. We start with a strong win 35-17, Taylor 16 of 134 and RB Benson a score. Fiste was an efficient 20 of 23 for 246 and 3:0 hitting for scores Leggette 2 times on 108 yards and Pitts one. Holland TWO picks. Fumrec return for score by Pitts. 1.5 sacks by Streb, 5 KRb by Neise and Blakely, 3 by the other starters. Nasty!

Week 2 – at Cincinnati – This recent Super Bowl winner is a rough away game early. We lose a high scoring game close.42-45. Taylor 2 rush scores, Fiste 23 of 34 for 311 and 3:0. Higgins was 9 for 144 and TD snags by TE Schulze, Legette and McLaurin. Hockenhull 2 FF, one rec, the other by SLB Clark. 3 KRB by Robert.

RB Benson is out for 14 weeks we IR him, he doesn’t need surgery

Week 3 – At Arizona – We win closely 29-26. Rush scores by Fiste, Mar, Fiste was 33 of 53 for 421 and 1:2. Great yards bad ratio. Higgins is 11 for 139, score by Pitts. 2 sacks each by Streb and Hockenhull,

ILB Cashman out for a few weeks

Week 5 – New York Giants – Can we get back to winning ways today? Nope 30-38. We didn;’t punt though. Fiste was 42 of 54 for 522 yards and 2:2. Legette 15 for 202 yards and 2 score. Higgins 8 for 103. Nasty. Rush score by Taylor. No tos, 4 KRB by Montano, 3 by Robret

Week 6 – At Philly – We needed the Giants to be a Get Right since now we are away at heavyweight division comrade. I’d just be happy to get to 500 with this win. We lose again 21-24 and are 2-4 with understandable losses away save for Giants. Fiste is 21 of 30 for 274 and 2:1. Leggette ANOTHER 200 yard game with 12 for 218 and a score. Schultz other one. Taylor rush score. No tos, 1 sack, 4 KRbby Robert, 3 by Walker

We need to get my D to work better than this

Week 7 – At Atlanta – FOUR away games in a row now against our rival. Another close loss 27-28. Fiste is 26 of 43 for 329 and 3:0. Legette 10 for132, scores by Taylor twice and WR Priebe once. NO TOs again, no sacks, 3 KRB by Blakely

Weel 8 – Kansas City - We are now hosting Patrick Mahomes. The team that won the Super Bowl last year against us…well good news and bad news…we won 28-24! But we lost Higgins for 5 games. Taylor rush score, Fiste is banged up and pulled for Pierce was 11 or 17 for 180 and 3:0, Fiste added 80 yards too. McLaurin Schultz and Priebe caught them. Picks by SS Winfield and CB Alvares. FF by Windlfef rec by Alvares. Weird symmetry there. 4 KRb by Montano

Week 9 – Washington – Can we win with Higgins injured? Oh YES, 40-13. Taylor rush score, Fiste was a quiet 19 of 29 for 258 and 3:0, Leggette 7 for 148, 1 score, the others by McLaurin and Priebe. Pick by Wade-Smith, 1.5 sacks by Kidder, SEVEN KRB by Robert, 3 each by Blakely and Montano

We are 4-5.

Stat?

QB Fiste – LEADS the league with 2843 yards. 20-7.
Legette – Leggette already has 1k yards and is in first.
No great Secondary or sack totals

Week 10 – At New Orleans – Can we get to .500 away? Yes in a low scoring game, 24-16. Fiste is just 24 of 37 for 240 and 1:0, hitting Legette 14 times for 141 and score. Also rush score by Fiste. Pick six by Horn,

WR Ahmad Priebe is doubtful for a few weeks.

Week 11 – BYE

Week 12 – Tampa Bay – We are at 5-5 and not out of it even with our rough middle schedule. We win a weaker game for my offense despite the score of 30-27. Fiste was 24 of 39 for 249 and 1:0 and a rush score. McLaurin is 10 for 142 and the score. SLB Clark with the INT ret 93 yards for the score that gave us the game. Also pick by Winfield, just 1 sack, 3 KRB by LT Kiran

Week 13 – At Baltimore – This season keeps throwing the heavies. Away? We lose another close one 33-28. Fiste is 28 of 41, 335 yards, 3:!1. Legette is 11 of 178 yards and McLaurin 2 scores and Pitts one. Fiste rush score too. No TOs,3 Kr bby Montano

Back to .500 at 6-6. Atlanta is 9-3 and hard to catch them since we’ve already played them twice, but maybe wild card if we can win out or get to 10 wins. 5 games left.

Week 14 – Green Bay – Can we defeat Jordon Love? At least at home like Mahomes?? We beat the m low scoring 19-14. Fiste is 26 of 35, 422, 3:1, and Leggette is 11 of197 and one score and another 2 by Higgens who is 103; n o TO or sack, 3 KR by Robert

K Benson doubtful

We are 7-6.

Stats in low scoring month?

Fiste – 4089 still leads league but just by 170 yards, and 28:9 is 3rd most in pss scores
Leggette – 1826 yards! He leads the league by tons and could set a 2k season!

Taylor was nice with 19 of 149 and rush score by Fiste. Pick SIX by Holland, FF bY Horn rec by DE Kidder. Six KRB by Blakely, 4 by Niece and 3 b yMontano

Atlanta lost and we are one game back

Week 16 – New Orleans – We win 24-24. Taylor is 17 for 120, Fiste 27of 47 for 374 and 3:1, Legette 11 for 216 and 1 score, other by McLarin and Higgins. CB Caputo pick, 4 kRb by Robert

Legette crosses 2k yards.

Week 17 – Steelers – Quiet one score game – 23-21. Fiste just 22 of 33 for 282 and 2:0 , Taylor rush score. Legette and McLaurin scores. Pick by Holland; FF by Holland too and Tae, recovered by CB Caputo and Felix.

Fiste crossed 5k yards.

Atlanta won both and is one game in front at 10-6 to our 9-6-1 Can we get to 10-6-1 and WC or cross Atlanta at 10-7?

Week 18 - at Tampa Bay – Good news, we win 24-22.. Bad news, Atlanta won and we miss WC at 10-6-1. Rush score by RB Davis, Fist e21 of 33 for 2:1 and 366 hitting Legette for 146 yards and Pitts for 141 yards. Scores by Taylor and Higgins. Pick by Horn, 3 KRB by Walker

Season record set by Legette!

League Awards:

Neither Leggette nor Fiste won NFL OPotY. I would have given it t o Leggette.

All-Pro 1st Team:

WR Xavier Leggette

All-Pro 2nd Team:

Qb Harold Fiste
CB Jaycee Horn

Three is okay here. I don’t mind who or where there.

Stats:

Offense:

QB Fiste, 426 passes for 5394 – led pass yards by 210, 39:11, 3rd, 106 QBR, 93 carries, 560 yards, 5 rush scores

How does that not lead O Player of the Year to a QB? Or…

RB Taylor – 257 for 1176, 4.58 ypc, 7 scores

Not bad year for 49/49 but with better blocking that could have been better.

Catching:

WR Legette – 164 for 2452 yards, 14 scores
WR Higgins – 14 games, 59 for 765 and 5 scores
WR McLaurin – 57 for 698, 9 scores
TE Pitts – 37 for 488 and 3 scores

Blocking:

OG Robert – 41 KRB, 3 pancakes, 7 sacks
OG Montano – 32 and 6 and 7

No one else with more than 30

Special Teams:

P Allen – 82 for net of 37.21, 26 in 20. Down year

K Browder - 20 of 26, long of 48, 45 of 46 PAT

WR Sibley – Led with 19 special teams tackles

Defense:

SLB Clark – Led in tackles, 1.5 sacks, 3 TFL, 1 block, hurries and 2 QBKD
WLB Streb – 7.5 sacks, 4 TFL, 2, 2, 9 QBKD
NT Tae – 1.5 sacks, 6 blocks, 14 hurries, 5 QKBKD
DE Kidder – 5 sacks, 2 blockers 6 hurries, 9 QBKD

Also light in sacks this year too

Coverage:

SS Winfield, 2 picks, 7 pasdef, 3 FF,
CB Horn – 2 and 18 pasdef
FS Holland – 4 and 15, 2 FF
SLB Clark 1 and INT RET and 7 pasdef

Picks down from last year a bit but we were above average I felt.

4 FF by Hockenhull led team,

Team Awards:

Offensive Player of the Year: WR Xavier Leggette
– Set a record for most yards in a season receiving. No one else could be here!

Defensive Player of the Year: WLB Matthew Streb
– Led my team in sacks by 2.5, had great overall stats from head to toe rushing that QB!!!

Special Teams Player of the Year: WR Alajandro Sibley – Rookie led my team in special teams tackles. He also had 11 KR returns for an average of 23.45

Rookie of the Year: NT Tae Krykhtine – You might look at a stud NT like him starting and wondering where the sacks are. Sure those’re a little underwhelming, but let’s unpack the rest. He led my team with 14 hurries as well as blocked passes. Two stats. Sure not the sexy sack number, but those are fine. Welcome to the team!!!

Heart Award: RB Jonathan Taylor
– Even with a bad blocking year last and a bit better this one, and then dropping to 49/49 still is putting up nasty numbers!!

Rookie Lookie #3:

2.31 –NT Tae Krykhtine, Texas, 56/69; 62/71, 72/72
3.31 – WLB PJ MacMillian, NC State, 41/55; 48/53, 52/52
4.31 – OG Lamont Herd, Utah, 26/52 – CUT by OC
5.31 – RT Michael Malinski, Penn State, 21/50, 28/45, 28/45
6.31 – WR Alejandro Sibley, Notre Dame,33/46, 39/49, 44/49
7.31 – FS Grant Cavoretto, Texas A&M, 25/45; 29/45, 32/45
7.36 – ILB Joey Traylor, Virginia, 30/41, 33/39 34/39

Tae rises a bit more and is full. MacMillian fell a bit more.

UFAs:

SLB Sergio Niswander – 28/50, 37/52, 50/52
NT Van Patrick – 25/46 , 26/32, 26/32
OG JB Gerrity – 17/39, 23/36, CUT
WR Cary Ward – 27/45, 30/41, 32/41
DE Ted Leech, 19/40, 22/35, 22/35

The 2030 NFL Offseason:

I end the season and scored a bad 24/100.

Coming back are Schultz, Pitts, McLaurin, Higgins, LS Triner, Winfield, Holland, Horn, all 10 years above, and 9 year SLB Clark, it looks like DC hired DT Johnson back, and then LT Walker. Just one 8th year DE Felix with just 6.5 sacks in three years of starting for me.

For Stadium prices we sold out everywhere again, but not Stadium Boxes at 100 of 158, so I drop Stadium Boxes by another 30k.

Staff Draft:

I skip hiring but looked at Head trainers

We pick 1.18, given to Pittsburgh

The draft is revealed. This is a zero QB draft, the best is 5.7 and 5.4. It’s deep at RB five 6s and 7.2, just four Tes higher than 5.0, no FB, WR is just two 6.3 and 6.1 and after McLaurin busted again we still need a slot, one C at 5.9, two Ogs in 6s, light, four stud LTs and one RT, and the 7.9 LT might get interest, 5 Des in 60s, two Dt in 70s, 2 in lower 6. All Lb combined just three 6. All DBs just three 6s, weak there in the non-D-Line defense.

Tag? Coming free of name are Pitts, Kidder, Johnson and Higgins, but that’s about it. I’ll head to Day 1 of FA.

The 2030 NFL Earlier Free Agency:

Day 1 – Who wants what?

I have 42 on my roster, cap space free of 21.16 mill.

TE Pitts just wants two years at 7.19 with a cap hit this year of 3.39. Done

DE Kidder wants 3 years at 14.34 mill for cap hit this year of 4.11. He’s 53/53 and I drafted him in 2025 in 4th round.

I need the cap space to chase a new FA since Felix isn’t working. I sign Kidder in case I cannot find another and Cut Felix and save 13.43 mill to do so.

WR Tee Higgins wants just 10.7 mill for two years and cap hit this year of 5.05. He’s 52/52 and 12 year vet likely to drop. I’ll let him to to FA and see if we can find a younger or better 2nd WR.

It looks like RB Taylor retired . I will need a replacement but we are Spread on fewer carries, lesser priority. Right now that;s Mar at 44/47.

Any retentions I need?

In their final year:

SE Legette – He wants 51 mill, three years, drop cap hit this year from 21.33 to 16.02. Done!
CB Horn – He wants 36.6 two years, cap hit rise from 19.28 to 21.78. He’s worth it
CB Smith-Wade – He wants 8.75 two years for 4.35, done

Rookie DE Hockenhull – He wants 38.6 over 4 years so 9.74 this . He’s a great run stopping and not that bad at pass rush too. That’s a cap rise of four-ish mill. I go ahead and do it. s

Rookie SILB Shaun Cashman – 58/58 – nice, wants 67 for 5 years, cap hit rise this year from 2.35 to 9.87. He’s the last guy left barring the usuals of Winfield and Holland. Since Holland drops to 53/53 but wants 10 mill each year I’ll wait until next one. Right now I have 26.59 for starting RB, WR and DE in FA. That would drop me to around 19 mill for 9 mill for three key FAs, Anyone I can release after moving into that 10 mill left? Nope

Alright, let’s head to Day 2, trying to keep cash for Cashman, but if the cap doesn’t line up I ‘ll skip by and resign Cashman next year.

Day 2
– It looks like some stud K are available and you know how much I am not liking Nico Browder.

K Brandon Aubrey – 78/78, wants 21.01 mill for three years cap hit of 5.87 and he’s 8 year vet. That’s just a bit more than Browder’s cap hit of 5.86. if I signed him and cut Browder I’d save 5.66, enough to pay for him. I offer Aubrey enough to raise the cap hit to 6.2 this year.

DE?

There is a 6th year vet DE called Matthew Wolfe with 67/76 rating but he wants 48.65 for 3 year, cap hit this year of 13.57. An 8 year vet at 66/66 wants Lukas Van Ness, 43.5 for three years, cap hit this year of 12.24, he’s more of a run stopper. Wolfe too. The next option is 59/59 6th year vet with much better pass rush, but worse pass rush strength with 11.2 cap hit. Then the budget option is:

DE Aidan Moyer, 58/58, 5th year vet. – Run stuffer, wants 3.29 cap hit this year.

The best pass rushers are DE Jamal Lizarraga with 70 the 59/59 one that’s 11.27 or 57/57 Kingsley Enagbre, at 89. He wants 10.42 this year and is 9th year vet,

I want to offer Jamal, but that’s all of my free space, leaving me 15.3. Kidder is 76, could I just use him?

Before I do…

WR/RB?

RB:

Any cheap options better than Mar?

Two 9th year 55 and 54 vets are pretty cheap. Brian Robinson and Jalen Warren. Both are 31.

I offer 55/55 Robinson for two years at 4.1 this year and 8.6 mill total

WR:

FL BJ Sternberger – 6th year vet, 59/59, rating wants 3 years at 20.23 mil. Cap hit this year of 5.57. I love, and make an offer of 6.24 after raising it.

That would cost with Robinson 11.34 – my cash. I hold up there

I’ll ride Kidder this year.

I advance to Day 3

Day 7 - K Aubrey signs and I cut K Browder.

Day 10 – Sternberger joins us!

Day 11 – RB Robinson does too

Do I want to resign Cashman now or wait until next year to see if I can get cheaper? I’ll wait

I head to draft!!

The 2030 NFL Amateur Draft:

Once again no 1st.

2nd round: 2.18. Who’s free? One guy in the 6.0s. 6.3 DE for 3-4 named Brock McKendrick with Hard to Read. The next highest is 5.9. I didn’t sign an FA, this is a good time to snag one here. He is strong at pass rush. I snag him

3.18 –
My staff here like OG Padron who is the top OG by 0.2 at 5.0 and As scouted. I also need: TE since I didn’t sign Schultz, RB for Hutchens, WR for Priebe, OG, ILB, S. All backups. LT Marroquin is 5.7 and As Scouted. We all know how hard LTs are to pay. I snag him.

In the 4th round we have 3rd round trade at 4.7. My staff like OG here with Nicholas Trosclair who is 4.8 and hard to read. Two ahead of him are underrated also 4.8 (Keenan Lynch, Caleb Glantz). This might also be a great time for RB with two 5.4 As Scouted (Rickey Enis, Cornelius Fred.) I take Trosclair .

At 4.18
– Fred still on the board do I want him or TE David Ward the best at 4.7 better than 4.4, he’s overrated but 4.4 very underrated Kaleb Elliot on the board. i snag Elliot

5th – At 5.18 is Fred there? Yes! My staff like S Rashard Meade. He’s 4.5 and Hard to read, I snag him

6th is here – I smash that Enis draft since Fred was gone.

7 .8 – The other pick we traded for is here. Who fell? My staff like LS here Thomas Westerman. We do it.

7.18 –
I do BAP the highest rated very underrated WR player on the board, which is 4.4 Roman Bock who plays the SLOT.

The 2030 Carolina Panthers:

2.18 - DE Brock McKendrick, Maryland, 42/62
3.18 - LT Juan Marroquin, Southern Mississippi, 26/51
4.7 – OG Nicholas Trosclair Iowa, 28/49
4.18 – TE Kaleb Elliot, Miami, 31/43
5.18 – S Richard Meade, Florida, 32/46’
6.18 – RB Ricky Enis, Soutth Carolina, 38/40
7.7 – LS Thomas Westerman, Clemson, 42/42
7.18 - WR Roman Bock, Louisville, 16/28

Brock is strong at DE that late if he holds. Wow bad stuff from Bock. If Juan holds, 51 not bad there.

The 2031 NFL Offseason:

I score a 46,

Returning are;

McLaurin, Winfield, DT Jonese, TE Pitts, Horn, Holland, Clark, Robinson, Aubrey at 9 years,

I have 34 signed but 52 players so most are back,

Stadium Tickets – We sold 100% of the Stadium but still just 100/158 luxury boxes I drop them by another 20k, and then rise the stadium by a bit.

Staff Draft:

I extend HC Austin, AC Starnes, and OC Zaiden.

I don’t grab any new staff.

We are picking 1.24. The draft class is revealed, it’s one QB at 7.7 and that’s it. There are 6 mid 60s and 7 RBs, at WR 1 7,1 6.1 and that’s it. At C 5.5, OG 2 6.0s OT 2 7 and one low 6. None LT, DE? It’s DEEP with eight 6s and 7s. Light DT just three. Lb? 6 6.0s. I could be convinced to draft a stud SLB since we haven’t gotten it much. 6.5 SLB top of the SLB board named Gerardo Howells is underrated. I might be willing to trade up to the 10s if he falls.6.8 WLB Norman Pilcher is very underrated. In secondary 3 7s, 65 6.0s. There is a 5.9 TE very underrated named Bart Grandos I doubt will fall, but who knows.

Franchise tag time – coming free are Cashman that I wants to see if would drop in price, and he rose to 61/61, and I also have free CB Caputo, SLB Clark at 55/55 to see what would happen there since he was underwhelming, FS Holland since he underperformed and is now 51/51, again price drops, And McLaurin too. I head to FA Day 1 through, with cap space of 74 mill minus draft class.

The 2031 NFL Early Free Agency:

Day 1 –

I retain:

QB Cartogen – 2.45 mill, 2 years
SS Winfield – 2 years 22.05 mil
SILB Cashman – 60.72 mill for 4 years
TE McAlister – 48/48 for 5.99 mill 2 years
CB Caputo – 2 years, 9.05 mill
FS Holland – 2 years, 6.54 mill
Dt Jermone Graham - 2 years, 5.11, 47/51
OC Snyder – 3 years, 9.5 mil,
DE Salazar – 48/48, 9.96,. three years

I want to not bring back WR McLaurin since he wants one year deal of 5.09 cap hit, which for a 42/42 guy not to be my top three is pricey. But I am afraid that If I let him go, he will sign and then retire, HOF and we lose out on a Hall of Fame one in ours. Unlike Baseball in Football HOF you are all team,s but not in FOF.

It looks like LS retired.

SLB Clark wants a 9.1 cap hit this year. No thanks.

That leaves me cash of 21.36 or around 11 mill.

Who is coming free I can free up some cash?

Final Year of Note:

CB Horn, won’t resign, he’s dropped and I want a cheaper deal.
CB Smith-Wade
C Niese, cap hit this year of 9.89 will drop to 7.3 with a two year extension. Note for 53/53
Te Pitts and Bruseloff, cap hits of 3.0 for the latter and wants 20.9 for two years the former 3.79 and wants two year extension of 6.49 to keep the same. I extend Pitts.
WILB Conor Edeson – 53/53 – rookie, look later.
QB Fiste – 71/71, has cap hit of 14 mill, wants 305 mill for 5 years, cap rise this year to 52.67 mill that’s big. +38.65 mill.
RB Mar – Draftee look later

That’s it. I need to keep Fiste. I have cap space of 21.48 after draft. I have a few places to free this. LT Felix dropped to 49/49 and allowed 7 sacks and just 20 KRB< 16 the previous year. Freeing him would give me 19.57 mil. Total with my space of 41.05 enough for the 38.65 but no FAs. My backup starter would be 30/50 Marroquin from last yer’s draft. Then C Niese free would give me 8.72 and my backup starter is OC Snyder at 43/50.

Both backups are close.

I also need to sign a LS

I have signed enough backups to and starters to have a roster of 43. I let LT Felix go, I extend Fiste, I have cap space of 2.4 mill. I cut C Niese. I am now at 11.12

I head to Day 2

I make an offer for LS Evan Deckers with a 62 long snapping for 2 years, 3.13 mill, cap hit of 1.55

Any cheap FA I can swap? Not really.

Day 9 – Decker signs.

I head to the draft!

The 2031 NFL Amateur Draft:

I need SLB bad I couldn’t afford a replacement, I might need to trade for Gerardo Howells.

1st round
. Picking at 1.1 is CB, SLB Howells is still on the board at 1.24,

Houston offers a trade for this pick for their: 7th. No thanks. I snag Howells. He’s good at run d, and average at everything else.

I still need a starting LT, OC, backup OG, backup or starter at WILB, WR to replace McLaurin, CB

2nd round:
2.24 is here. The best OC/LT free makes sense. C Reggie Festa, 5,5 Hard to read, top C in the draft. I snag him.

3rd round:
3.24, who fell? Any LTs? 5.4 As Scouted Ramirez is there. WR? My staff like CB Frazier but very overrated. CB Martin at 5.4 is very underrated. 5.2 WR underrated Gonzalez? Gonzalez.

4th round
: ILB Bryant O’Rouke is the highest rated LB, and 5.8 and As Scouted. I snag him.

5th round: My staff like CB DeAndre Palacious who is 5.5 and Hard to Read. He’s the top corner. I snag him.

6th round: The top OT is LT Awad 5.2 with Underrated. Top OG ae mid 4.0s and I snag 4.5 underrated Tanner Westmoreland.

We have the 6.35 compensatory pick. I pick Awad.

6.43
– We have this pick too. Minnesota offers a trade for 7th this round and next and I accept.

7th
– 7.24 is here. My staff like CB Levon Rubi, we bring him in.

I take DT here with Minnesota’s pick Terrance Herrmann.

The 2031 Carolina Panthers Draft:

1.24 – SLB Gerardo Howells, Texas Christian, 53/64
2.24 – C Reggie Festa, Boston College, 35/69
3.24 – WR Leonardo Gonzalez, Oregon, 33/48
4.24 – ILB Bryant O’Rourke, Oklahoma State, 36/50
5.24 – CB DeAndre Palacious, 28/36
6.24 – OG Tanner Westmoreland, 24/36
6.35 – LT Broderick Awad, Arizona, 21/24
7.24 – CB Levon Rubi, Virginia Tech, 30/45
7.28 – DT Terrance Herrman, UCLA, 26/43

Hello Festa and Howells. Not great thereafter.

The 2031 NFL Late Free Agency:

I have a roster of 51.

I didn’t bring back my lower rated special teamers on Day 1, I have cap space of 9.59.

I make offers to:

S Jaiden O’Shea – He has four PR for scores, 40/40 overall, PR of 92, KR 52, special teams 66. 6 year vet, wants 3.8 for two years, 1.74, I add a little signing bonus to get him to 1.9.

CB Amani Hansel – 57 kickoff, 71 special teams, 5th year. 39/39 – Wants 5.2 for two years, cap hit of 2.35 this year. Anyone cheaper in FA? Sibley on my team with 70 KO is my best returner, but you want another good one. O’Shea could be with a 52 KR.

I offer RB Justice Gregg - 3 year vet, KR of 80, one year 1.1 mill.

WR is hit. Nothing left at UFA, the best are low 30s pot.

UFA:

C Jefferson Knobel – 20/56 – three years with a bonus
DT Howie Farabaugh – 33/50 – three years

There is a good deal in FA:

DE Chrisitan Millet - 3rd year, 54/54 pass rush specialist wants three years at 8.29 so cap hit this year of 2.23 plus some to sign him. Pass rush of 78. Pretty cheap for him. I could sign and then add him to my rotation with Kidder. My worst DE is Mitch Salazar 48/48 with a 72 pass rush, pretty close, current cap hit of 2.7, so I don’t have an open spot

I head to Day 2

Day 2 – Farabaugh signs

Day 3 – Knobel signs too

Day 4 – Gregg signs

I get a trade offer from Detroit who want Caputo, and my 6th in 2033 and offering two 3rd back in 2032 there’s and Tennessee’s. He’s my nickelback, and 56/56 and a 7th year vet, he’s also pretty cheap, cap hit this year of 4.11 a special teams gunner at 79. There is a CB in FA named 52/52, 5th year, coming off injury, wants just 5.07 for two years.

I don’t make the trade. I think I’d be fine, but Caputo is also my injury coverage for Horn, Wade-Smith and then if they fall in skill.

Day 5 – O‘Shea signs! That’s them all

UFA:

C Jefferson Knobel – 20/49
DT Howie Farabaugh – 31/47

Knobel dropped from how we saw him loads. Farabaugh too.

I have left for minor injury signings 5.01

Let’s go camping!!!

The 2031 Preseason:

Week 1 – Houston – Rough match up at the Hall of Fame Game against Houston’s CJ Shroud. At least we are home. We win a close but low scoring game 22-17. S Cavoretto questionable

Week 2 – At LA Chargers – We win 26-3.

Week 3 – BYE

Week 4 – At Denver – We lose 13-23, WR/KR Shibly out for a few weeks.

Rookie Lookie #2:

1.24 – SLB Gerardo Howells, Texas Christian, 53/64, 62/67
2.24 – C Reggie Festa, Boston College, 35/69, 41/69
3.24 – WR Leonardo Gonzalez, Oregon, 33/48, 39/48
4.24 – ILB Bryant O’Rourke, Oklahoma State, 36/50, 38/49
5.24 – CB DeAndre Palacious, 28/36, 34/41
6.24 – OG Tanner Westmoreland, 24/36, 29/40
6.35 – LT Broderick Awad, Arizona, 21/24, 25/38
7.24 – CB Levon Rubi, Virginia Tech, 30/45, 36/38
7.28 – DT Terrance Herrman, UCLA, 26/43, 31/51

Hello Howells! Remember he was underrated, so that light rise is nice but expected. He’s very strong already. I’m happy to see Festa already ready but slower dev In camp and preseason than we’d like. Rise by Palacious, and next round Westmoreland. Big boom with Awad. Drop by Rubi big, huge boom by Herrman. At the time, just two in 60s, and one 50, the 50 fell one, a 43 rose to 51, and just one big fall.

UFAs:

C Jefferson Knobel – 20/49,25/50
DT Howie Farabaugh – 31/47, 24/45

Slight rise by Knobel, fall by Farabaugh

I cut:

OC Snyder fell to 40/40
RB Gregg
DT Farabaugh

Here’s my starters!!!

The 2031 Carolina Panthers Starters:

Wow, the Gods of Random Aging Hammered us this year. WLB at 6 year fell to 49/49 and they are emergency starting Howells there and MacMillian at SLB. Horn and Winfield both are below 50 as is Holand, and even Caputo fells from 56 to 52 and is starting now. DE Hockenhull rose to 63/63. On LT Bailey is starting, under 50 and OC Festa is 41/69 totally understandable. RT Blakely fell to 51/51. RB Robinson fell to 49/49, Mar will start and Enis as FB. WR Sibley is out, but will cover when he returns

I want to sign injured CB 52/52 but he either retired or headed elsewhere.

Here’s my top rookie:

Like I said, great at Run stopping with that 100 max, and then okay everywhere else. In the high 40s and 50s for everything else. Welcome to the team rookie!!!

Let’s head to the regular season! Can we get a strong division winning seed and not be on the road? That’s my goal.

WR Gonzalez out for 9 weeks, C Festa doubtful for 3. SLB Streb back.

Week 9 – At New Orleans - We head to the aforementioned 8-0 Saints prior to their place. It’s hard to believe that any game this early is key...but this is. Mar rushing score, Fiste is 13 of 15 for 124 and 0:0 pulled to chase the win for Cadogen for15 of 228 and 2:0. TE McAlister and WR Polk scores, FF by Hollands rec by Smith-Wade, 3 KRB by Montano

The 2031 NFL Playoffs:

Wild Card Weekend:

We head to 9-8 SF to take on the 49ers. They are, like the Eagles last year, a postseason perineal power, with a stud QB Brock Purdy. We…win an exciting close 31-28 game.

RB Robinson nets two rush TDs, Fiste is 26 of 38, 316 and 2:1. Gonzalez and Bruseloff scores. Pick by Winfield, no sacks, 3 KRB by Robert

Also:

Bills over Broncos 27-24
Chiefs over Jets – 27-24 too
Steelers over Titans 24-13

Cowboys over Cards 31-19
Vikings over Bears 30-22

Since the Vikes were a lower level seed than us in WC, next week we aren’t heading to New Orleans but Dallas.

Divisional Champ Weekend:

Ideally both away teams win and we host the Vikes next week.

Neither of us won. Close one by us, 40-41. Fiste is 24 of 35, 254, 3:1. Polk, Bruseloff, and Legette scores. LB MacMillian a fumrec. Five KRB by Montano.

Also:

The Vikings lost to the Saints 45-13. Nasty

The Bills defeat the Chiefs 27-16
Texans over Steelers 27-24

The Conference Championship

Saints thump Cowboys 55-27

Houston 21-17 over Chiefs

The 2031 Super Bowl:

Saints over Texans 30-14.

1.24 – SLB Gerardo Howells, Texas Christian, 53/64, 62/67, 68/68
2.24 – C Reggie Festa, Boston College, 35/69, 41/69, 50/69
3.24 – WR Leonardo Gonzalez, Oregon, 33/48, 39/48, 44/48
4.24 – ILB Bryant O’Rourke, Oklahoma State, 36/50, 38/49, 47/47
5.24 – CB DeAndre Palacious, 28/36, 34/41, 40/40
6.24 – OG Tanner Westmoreland, 24/36, 29/40, CUT by OC
6.35 – LT Broderick Awad, Arizona, 21/24, 25/38, 25/38
7.24 – CB Levon Rubi, Virginia Tech, 30/45, 36/38, CUT
7.28 – DT Terrance Herrman, UCLA, 26/43, 31/51, 31/51

Howells grew fast! C Festa was injured, but still grew a bit too. Drop by O’Rourke a bit, a little bit DeAndre now full.

UFAs:

C Jefferson Knobel – 20/49, 25/50, 26/50
DT Howie Farabaugh – 31/47, 24/45, CUT

Ready for Stats?

Stats!!!

Offense:

QB Fiste was 365 of 499 for 4660 yards, 4th most yards, 31:22, rating of 114.4, the best for starters; 99 rushes for 476, 3 scores

Good stuff!

RB Robinson – 244 for 1127, ypc of 4.74, 10 scores, 10th most yards, 3rd most TDs
RB Mar – 204 for 972 yards, ypc of 4.76, 9 scores, 4th most scores

We came THAT close to two 1k rushing players by 28 yards with Mar.

Receiving:

WR Legette – 89 for 1536, 5th most, 10 scores, 4th most
WR Sternberger – 97 for 1092, 7 scores
WR Sibley – 9 games, 40 for 557, 3 TDs
TE Bruseloff – 31 for 382 and 2

Two 1k seasons!

Blocking:

OG Montano – 62 KRB, 5 pancakes, 5 sacks allowed
OG Robert – 42 KRB, 2 pancakes, 3 sacks allowed
RT Bailey – 35 KRB, 6 sacks,
LT Blakely – 28 KRB, 7 sacks
C Festa – 15 games, 38 KRB, 7 sacks

Montano tied for 2nd most KRB overall with a OT and C higher, so he was the highest OG this year, also low sack numbers too. Robert was 11th highest for OG. My OL was studly this year. Remember Bailey was 48/48.

Special Teams:

P Allen – 55 punts for 41.71 NET average, 30

More than 50% in 20 and he raised his net.

K Aubrey – 35 of 38, 52 long, 50 of 51 PAT

Just three misses, Pat, and good long. That’s the best season b y a K yet!

SLB Howells led in Special team tackle with 10

Defense:

SLB Howells – 6.5 sacks, 6 TFL, 1 block, 6 hurries, 10 0QBKD
DE Kidder – 7 sacks, 1 TFL, 6 blocks, 10 hurries, 7 QBKD, 2 FF, 1 FR for a TD
NT Tae – 1 sack, 3 TFL, 6 blocks, 10 hurries, 4 QBKD
DE McKendrick – 1.5 sacks, 1, 1, 9. 4
SLB Sergio Niswander – 3 sacks, 8 TFL, 1, 1, 3

Obviously, with Streb dropped in ability and then injured, rough. Kidder led my team in sacks and blocks. Hockenhull’s injury hurt here too. Down years by McKendrick and Tae. Niswander good TFL number, led team.

Coverage:

CB Horn - 3 INT, 17 pasdefs
CB Caputo – 3 INT, 14 pasdef
CB Wade-Smith - 2 INT, 1 RET TD< 10 pasdef
S Winfield – 2 INT, 6 pasdef
S Holland – 1 and 7
S O’Shea – 2 and 3, 2 RET TD

Both of Horn’s stats led team.

Good stuff team!!

Team Awards:

Offensive Player of the Year: OG Lonnie Montano – Sorry, I hate to give this twice in arow, but he just led Ogs in KRB and was 2nd in the league with a massive 62. He just earned his first All Pro!!

Defensive Player of the Year: DE Thurman Kidder
– This was a 2 man race with Horn. Both led my team in two key stats, but Horn often wins this. Not this guy. With his reliable 7 sacks, and 6 hurries as well, he did quite well!!! He also recovered a fumble and scored.

Special Teams Player of the Year: K Brandon Aubery – Also a two man race with P improving his stuff, but Aubrey just had the best Kicking season yet! Nicely done kicker!

Rookie Award: SLB Gerardo Howells – This was also a two man race with C Festa. He was forced to start at WLB not his natural position and then Streb was injured for much of the year. He was 2nd on the team in sacks with 6.5, and was great at rushing that passer!!! He also led in special teams tackles

Heart Award: LT Herman Bailey
– Full year of starts, got more than 30 KRbs and just 6 sacks allowed at the most rushed position out there? This was his first season as a starter and he dd quite well.

We’ll see you next year!!!

The 2032 NFL Offseason:

I score 49

Coming back:
Winfield, Pitts, Horn, Holland, Aubery, Robinson, 9th year Legette, WR Polk, Smith-Wade, and LS Deckers.

I have on my roster 41 active of 53, I’m not sure who retired

Stadium opens next year. We sold out the seats. Still just 100 boxes. I raise back to 350k since that’s where we last had 100.. I raise prices

Staff Draft:

I extend DC Carver and Head Trainer Cabral

We draft 1.28. Out there are one good QB. 6.3 5 6.0s RB we could use a good one at 1.28, or 2.28 for that matter. I know Bailey was great as a stop gap, but a 48/48 can be a long term starter. There are 6 LTs and one 7.1 to potentially draft. I have not drafted a WR higher than 3rd round last year, and Legette getting close to retirement. And I’m spread. There are 8 7s and 6s and one 7.2 above them. There is one 5.4 FB. Also a 5.8 As Scouted TE Del Toro might be fun if he fell to the 1.28 spot. No Ogs higher than 5.8. 5 De, 7 DTs are on the board in 6s or more. I need a pass rushing WLB for Streb. The best OLB on the board is 6.3 ad SLB. Not a great time for that. I could also use stud CB and S to start. Three dbacks in the 7.0s and four in the 6s so they are there but not deep. I need probably two.

Tag?

I have coming free of big names - TE Bruseloff, 53/53 LB Edeson, Horn, Mar, Smith-Wade, Robinson. No tags I’ll head to Day 1.

The 2032 NFL Early Free Agency:

Now that Fiste is on a cap heavy deal space will be tight. I have free for players 16.99 after my draft, so 6 or 7 mill now, or for extensions, and around 10 mill post draft

What do the players free want?

Day 1 -

Not that much. Winfield in the last year of his deal has a cap hit of 11.9 mill, released for free 9.72. He’s dropped to 47/47. If I cut him, I could try and bring him back for cheap tomorrow.

Last Year of Deal:

SS Winfield – If I resign him now his cap this year drops to 9.11 a drop of 2.79

RT Blakely – 51/51, cap hit of 16.59, If resigned for two years drops to 12.5.i cut and free up 14.75 mill

I now have free 31.74

I extend OG Montano in final year for 21.81 mill, 2 years dropping cap hit to 10.85 from 13.86

I extend Legette and drop cap hit to 18.13 from 19.21

I will let free FS Holland who is down to 46/46. Ditto Caputo who wants like 10 mll cap hit to resign.

BJ Sternberger wants a cap raise of 8.9 to 18 no thanks

P Allen to cap drop of 1.5 mill three years and K Aubry three years drop of a m,ill to 7.14

I want to spend big money to retain NT Tae In his 4th year. He’s won an All Pro. 52.3 mill for three years, cap hit this year rise from 2.34 to 14.25. Done.

I resign:

CB Horn for 3.87 this year

CB Wade-Smith -Two years, 9.40 mill for cap hit 4.41
WILB Edeson – 3 years for 11.13, cap hit of 3.2
TE Bruseloff – 7.44 mill, two years, 3.45 this year

That drops us to 12.14. I need one RB so I resigned Mar to 3 years at 11.55 cap hit of 3.38 this year

8.76 left.

I need more cash.

I extend DE Kidder for year and drop it few hundred thousand

Do I cut and resign Antione or just use his cash elsewhere? Or extend and save 2.8 mill but increase next year’s cap.

I cut him and head to Day 2. To resign he wants one year deal of 3.28 mill I offer plus a better bonus bring him in.

I am offering him 3.75 mill. I have free 19.13 and if he returns, around 16 mill.

Who is cheap and can come? RB? RT? CB? WLB good in sacks since we don’t have it in the draft?

RB Devon Shoulders – 60/60, age 26, year 5, wants around 21.9 for 3 yers, cap of 6.23 this year. Strong starting RB Option

RB Pierre Estep – 55/55, year 5, wants 3 at 12.8 with a cap hit of 3.75 this year. Cheap budget option

CB Denzel Selle – 54/54 – 6t hyer vet wants 13.31 mill for 3 years, cap hit of 3.84 this year

I could do both of Estep and Selle.

What about WLB?

WLB Clarence Gooding, year 7, 54/54, wants just 11.50 for three years, but just has pass rush of 42 and tr of 11, he’s a run stopper.

The best cheap pass rush WLB is 38/38 Jessie Frizzel with a 82 pass rush, 33 str, 0 run stop ,age 28, for 11.6 for three years. 79 pass rush age 24 38/38 Courtney Tracy wants 12.05 fo r3 years ,more well round with 44 str, 55 run def. I feel like a draftee could give me that.

There is a stud WLB wanting 27.88 fortwo yers, but he;s 66/66.

WLB Dexter Morgan has 74 pass rush, 92 strength, 46 run, 42/42, wants 10 for three years, cap hit of 2.85.

Streb has a pass rush of really bad to Morgan. I want to offer Morgan at 10.5 and cap hit of 3.02 but should I? Can I free up another 3 mill in cap cash? I make offers to Estep, and Selle and hope to draft WLB

Day 7 – RB Estep resigns with Buffalo for a lot less. There is a 55/55 ninth year vet wanting 3.46 cap hit, but that’s old and will fall. There is a 53/53 6 year vet with cheaper 3.19 like Estep. Or do I go for Shoulders a stud and not worry about RB in the draft? I could pull the offer for Selle. Cheap not great Berton (53/53) young, cheap veteran 55/55 (Blake Corum), pricey young Shoulders, or just skip ahead to draft? Since Mar is 45/45, a 53/53 would be better. I have no RBs they all left save for Mar, who I resigned. For that reason I offer to Berton 11.96 for 3 years cap hit of 3.5

Day 11 – Winfield rejoins, I get a trade offer from the 49ths for Montano for their 3rd and fourth. I could use some picks, since they are cheap compared to QB stuff. But not Montano for 3rd and 4th.

Day 13 – My other two FAs join us!

I head to the draft!

The 2032 NFL Amateur Draft:

Who will fall to us at 1.28?

I need RT, LT, WLB, RBx backup or stud, starter Wr and backup, starter WILB better than Edeson, starting FS for Holland,

1st – I have a trade offer from Houston for their 3rd,4 and 5th, no thanks.

I have on the board:

RT Young, 6.8 As Scouted
LT Cancilla – 6.6 Hard to Read
LT Lorenzo Munoz, 6.5 very underrated

RB Hampton – 6.4 hard to read

My staff like Hampton. TE Del Toro still on the board. Hampton does look like a stud. RT Young has great bars. Audible out for Del Toro or Munoz? None seem like bad bars and unless they bust after preseason are good. What’s my biggest need? I just signed a 53/53 RB and I have spread so fewer action there. At TE I have 4 on my roster with 52 Bruseloff, but a strong starter would be great. LT I have Bailey, and at RT no one. I bring in Young. That’s my biggest need.

2nd –
Who do I like here? Who is on the board?

My staff want RB Jacoby Goldstein. He’s 5.9 but Hard to Read.

We have five people with 6+ left, C, not it, and D line, but also 6.3 LT Owen Parr - As Scouted. Del Toro off. There is CB named Rob Broussard at 5.7, Hard to Read.

Parr has good bars. No thanks to Gibson, I don’t like him 2nd round pick, Broussard? Not this high. What about WR? The top is way back at 5.3, very underrated Edward Shafer. He look okay, not amazing. Parr seems the best, but he’s not…sexy. I grab Parr.

3rd Round: Is WR Shafer on the board? Nope. My Staff like CB Andy Sadler, who is the Overrated top CB at 5.4 on the board. Not great bars. At WR there is 5.3 Brad Solari, hard to read, 5.2 As scouted Octavio Luevano and 5.1 Willliam Bonora Hard to Read.

Any good WLB fell here? Or WILB? 5.3 Hard to Read ILB Markus grimble 4th LB on the board, but not pass rusher, could be WILB. I like Grimble’s bars.

We have the 3.36 compensatory pick. My staff like CB Marler, Is WR Solari still on the board? I grab Marler then, I need depth here.

4th Round – My staff like WR Willliam Bonura here. He feels like a body. What about S? No 5s are left. The top is 4.5 very underrated Johnathan Ayala. 4.5 Tre is too, is this a good time to draft RB? The underrated 5.3 RB Ramon Fitzwater? I do Bonura,, but I don; t like it.

5!!
! My staff here like S Titus Cheney who is 4.3 and Hard to read, I grab him

6th! My staff here want to go with RB named Diego Unger who is 5.2 Hard to Read and the 2nd best on the board.

7th – We pick 7.27. My staff here like OG Alvin Petruzzi. He’s the top OG at 4.1 We snag him.

The 2032 NFL Panthers Draft Class:

1.28 – RT Jacoby Young , Wisconsin– 35/63
2.28 - LT Owen Parr, Boston College, 28/58
3.28 – ILB Markus Grimble, Nebraska, 30/57
3.36 – CB Leslie Marler, Shippenburg, 34/50
4.28 – WR William Bonura, California, 29/40
5.28 – S Titus Chaney, Syracuse, 29/41
6.28 – RB Diego Under, Montana, 36/41
7.27 – OG Alvin Petruzzi, Arizona, 24/50

Young looking solid at 1.28. Again Parr is okay. Grimble not bad here, Marler and Petruzzi okay too.

The 2032 NFL Late Free Agency:

I have on my roster 56. I have cap space of 7.95. I have five players i didn’t sign I could. The only good one left is OLB Sergio Niswander with a 52/52 who wants to resign 58.98 for a run stopper. Even now he’s pricey. For example, 51/51 run stopper PJ MacMillian wants resign 7.39 for two years a cap rise from 1.83 to 3.57

Instead, let’s move to the 2nd FA:

Day 1 – Which Undrafted rookies FAs are here?

UFA:

FS Reid Romero, 26/54 – offered typical 3 year deal with bonuses to make them mine
RB Troy Currie, 44/54 – Ditto
QB Steven Nguyen, 28/49 - Ditto with more since he’s a QB
WLB Glenn Hildebrand, 18/45, pass rush of 43/87 ditto
OC Hakeem Fravert – 19/54 - ditto

I’d love to extend Sibley since he wants 15.05 for three years, S O’Shea since they are returners and gunners and good players too. Anyone I can extend or cut? Just Sternberger, and that’s a nonstarter. We’ll wait until next offseason then.

Day 3 – Nguyen and Romero signed

Day 4 – Hildebrand and Fravert sign. Currie has four offers, I increase the cash offered.

Day 5 – Currie signs!

UFA:

FS Reid Romero, 26/46
RB Troy Currie, 43/51
QB Steven Nguyen, 28/44
WLB Glenn Hildebrand, 17/37
OC Hakeem Fravert, 19/47

Drops in all, only Currie is still 50+

I head to Preseason

The 2032 NFL Preseason:

I have on my roster 61. I cut LT Awad to get to 60

Week 2 – Baltimore, we win 34-6, no injuries

Week 3 – At NY Jets – 10-32 loss, no injuries

Week 4 – Miami – We win 24-10

RB Mar questionable for a couple weeks

Rookie Lookie #2:

1.28 – RT Jacoby Young , Wisconsin– 35/63, 42/64
2.28 - LT Owen Parr, Boston College, 28/58, 33/57
3.28 – ILB Markus Grimble, Nebraska, 30/57, 33/48
3.36 – CB Leslie Marler, Shippenburg, 34/50, 35/45
4.28 – WR William Bonura, California, 29/40, 30/39
5.28 – S Titus Chaney, Syracuse, 29/41, 30/39
6.28 – RB Diego Under, Montana, 36/41, 35/41
7.27 – OG Alvin Petruzzi, Arizona, 24/50, 26/48

Young rose maybe, Parr fell maybe, Bonura too, as did Chaney, and Petruzzi. Grimble busted hard, Marler some, rough.

UFAs:

FS Reid Romero, 26/46, 26/31
RB Troy Currie, 43/51, 43/47
QB Steven Nguyen, 28/44, 30/41
WLB Glenn Hildebrand, 17/37, 18/26
OC Hakeem Fravert, 19/47, 24/44

Rough falls by them all

I need to cut 8:

RG Troclair
QB Nguyen
OC Fravert
FS Romero
FS Chaney
CB Palacious
RB Unger
TE Elliot

Here our first round and only good pick, although maybe Parr will hold:

They are a bit green, good at run blocked, str and okay at scheme and great at pass blocking. Low endurance. Welcome!!!

The 2032 Carolina Panthers

Here is our starters and everyone back down to 42. Holland and Heron are 41. Bailey starts for Parr in his last year for us, since they had a strong year last and then 47/47 pretty good compared to his green newness. Streb fell to 44/44. Leggette fell to 50/50. Winfield 43/43

Ready for the year?

The 2032 NFL Season:

I need to win. The Saints have a QB named Cid who is 74/74. I feel like I am in the AFC West with Mahomes or Tom Brady in the AFC north as the Bills or Jets
