Added Grandpa to the game as well.
Going to need more people in order to get all the roles into the game.

I've made this offer before, but I am willing to play multiple spots. You can sign me up for 7-8 in total, just make them all villagers.

A few pieces of trivia about the movie (mistakes and blunders):
In the sword fight between Man in Black and Inigo, when MIB throws his sword down and then proceeds into his flip from the "horizontal bar" onto the ground level, he lands a good five feet from the thrown sword. In the next cut, he reaches a foot away to grab the sword's handle. While the Man in Black is on Fezzik's back during their fight, one of Fezzik's lines is heard while his lips aren't moving at all. When Fezzik leans Westley on the castle wall, the wall moves. When Westley is fighting the ROUS, you can see a techie by the tree step in and out of the picture. In the final scene, in the close up of the grandfather saying, "As you wish," the wall color is different from the color of the wall in the wide shot. This is because the close-up was a pickup shot done well after the original scene was shot. |

I know you were hoping more signups, but I'm actually looking forward to a slightly more moderate number of players. The 20+ games are a lot to grasp, it's hard to keep track of everyone. A player more would be perfect here I think.

Looks like we'll be using a smaller numberr of players. Will give it until tonight for the signups (make one more push for people) and then send out the roles tonight. Unfortunately not all roles (and possibly items) will not be present.
I may try to run this game again sometime later in the year to see if we can get more players (would really like to see how it plays out with all roles involved). I will have to tweak some of the roles for the abbreviated version. |

Tweaked The Princess to only allow a 50% chance of a random conversion.
Not all roles will be in the game.

There is trouble in the land. Princess Buttercup has been kidnapped, rescured, kidnapped again, gotten engaged and is ready for mawwage... maybe.
As good villagers you must help her find her rue love and rid the kingdom of Prince Humperdink and his bumbling band of boneheads and blowhards. Game on. Along with your day one votes you may also select an item. You may select either the Ioccane Powder or the Wheelbarrow. At the end of day one I will randomly select one player from the list that selected that item. That player will be given the item. Game on!!!! Day one Deadline is 10 PM EST on Tuesday. |

So, quick glance over the rules/roles.. There's 16 of us so there's no way we have 6 roled villagers, 6 roled wolves, and a neutral.
Something like 5 roled villagers, 3-4 wolves (I can see 4 if the ROUS is in), and the dread pirate roberts with 6-7 vanillas seems likely. |

This could be a bit rough since the wolves could potentially have multiple scanners, makes it much easier for them to narrow down the seer/bg pool. Plus the 50% conversion chance. Should be fun though, we'll see which way the luck falls early on.

Glad to see we're going. I think this is a great size for a game. Yeah, I'm not sure what is likely to be included, not too much help in guessing I don't think. I'll look over the list and throw out a vote before bed most likely.

I'm off to bed. Looking over the list, I'm going to throw out the first vote, on Darth. He made it to the end last game, and frankly I just find Darth exasperatingly hard to get a read on in game. He saved our butts last game, but I spent the whole game wondering about him.
VOTE DARTH VILUS |

Some interesting roles there. I think it's fairly safe to assume we have Westley, Inigo, Fezzik and Buttercup and maybe Miracle Max. I think the Grandpa role is very interesting but we might have to wait for the "full" game to see that. On the wolfy's side Humperdink is probably a given, unfortunately for us, along with Rugen. I think it would be inconceivable to have a Princess Bride game without Vizzini and I don't think there can, or should, be 5 wolves so I'd guess one of either the Albino or Clergyman are in.

16 players with a possible convert. I'd say we likely have 3 wolves with a slight chance at 4.
