Profit: $9,809 Hit the $200,000 mark, with about 4 months to spare. I'm sure I need to keep it this high when the time runs out, so it's no time to start spending money. Duke Hazzard left MAW. Rip Chord will be taking over as the fulltime colour commentator, I'm also going to be cutting more workers from the roster. Ultimate Pheonix is gone. I have too many workers at the top and not enough at the bottom and middle. I need to a few workers, even if they are expensive, to serve as midcarders to help make my stars look better and to teach the young guys how to work. I also terminated Max Mayhem's contract. |

Profit: $10,501 My first $10k+ profit month, although the last few months have been close. Even though I do want to make sure I don't go overboard, I think it's time to bring in at least 1 "star" (relatively speaking) to the fed. I'm thinking maybe Steve Flash, since he looks good against anyone and can make anyone look good, but that will cost me $1.5k per show. I'm still going to think it over some, possibly wait until Jay Chord finally gets signed away before I start a new "era" of MAW. The Masked Patriot is leaving. He signed his 4th PPA contract this month, and will be ditching us to concentrate on the other 3. I didn't really have any plans for him, and it frees up $450 per show. Dewey Libertine is out new referee. 2 days before the KTFO event, Jay Chord signs a written deal with SWF. He's gone. I will miss the great matches he gave me, I won't miss the incidents he got himself into. Last edited by sabotai : 12-01-2008 at 01:49 AM. |

I think I've built up enough good will to buy myself some time forgetting about Antonio. His momentum is down to a C-, and it'll be difficult to raise it back up, so I'm not worrying about it. |

Profit: ($2,644) Lost a bit of money on our card the featured every worker that was available. I was thinking of trying to restart the tag team division, but it'll cost me a bit more each month. Looks like I'm losing Erik Strong. I didn't get him his mid-card title fast enough and now that he's in his last week, I can't renegotiate. I'll see about resigning him in a few months. I think it's time to start giving Edward Cornell a push. He has the skills, he just needs to get a few wins to increase his popularity. I pushed him up to Lower Midcarder and will give him a couple of wins over Shane Nelson, Velocidad and Flash Savage to get him started. Perhaps tag him up with someone in a few matches to see if I can find him a tag partner. |

Profit: $25,711 We've made it to Regional status. Hurray! We took in over $40k in sponsor money thanks to the rise in Size. In order to reach Cult status, we need to get a D Importance in 2 regions. We are E+ in Mid Atlantic, so it's only 2 grade jumps there. However, we're F- everywhere else, which means I've got some work to do, including planning on which region I'm going to go after. Tri State - New York City Wrestling and Pittsburgh Steel Wrestling. South East - United States Pro Wrestling Great Lakes - No fed based there. Tri State is a region with 100% importance, meaning my Importance rating will increase with my Popularity. But, I'll have to compete with 2 feds in a regional battle most times I go there. South East has a 90% importance. The Mid Atlantic region has an importance of 85%, so 90% would still be a bit easier. One fed to compete with, but it's also a Cult fed, so I would not be in a Regional battle with them unless they fell in size. I already have a few workers that have a good bit of popularity in the South East Great Lakes - 85% Importance. No one's there so there's very little chance of a Regional Battle happening there. I could, of course, take my chances and do battle in the Tri State region, but if I keep losing those battles when I go there, it'll set me back and waste my time, especially if I can just go into the South East or Great Lakes and not worry about there. (I'm not sure if a Worker Agreement, which I have with both of them, will negate the damage done if I lose the battle.) (I'm sticking to those three regions since they border the Mid Atlantic region.) And possible the most important part of getting to Regional size is that it opens up the chance to get a TV show. I can try for one next month. |

Notes: I'm surprised he signed with me. I took a shot in the dark at a few workers, and he agreed to terms. It cost a lot. $1500 PPA, $800 downside. Plus he has to have a midcard title, which I doubt will be a problem. I could make him an enemy of Jack Avatar or team him with The Natural (The Can-Am Blondes). Either way, he'll get a title and be a big part of the fed's future. Art Reed Wrestling: Brawling C-, Puroresu C, Aerial C-, Flashiness C, Mat B-, Chain B-, Submissions B Entertainment: Mic C-, Charisma C- Physical: Athleticism A*, Toughness B, Stamina A*, Power C- Performance: C+ to A Sex Appeal C+, Star Quality B+ Face A / Heel A Popularity: C- in US I got Art Reed to sit down to talks as well, except he wanted $2000 PPA and $1500 downside. I thought good and long on this one. I did not want to spend this much. I know we got a huge bump in sponsor revenue, so I can probably afford it. Time will tell and I can easily scale back if I spent too much this month. Still, with the popularity of Love and Reed, they may end up covering the costs of their contracts in the extra tickets they are sure to sell. Plus, even if it hurts, I need guys who are popular in other regions to help me expand out. |

I had a Regional Battle in Mid-Atlantic with NYCW and PSW, which I won (Suck it!), but neither of them held a card in the Mid-Atlantic region, they aren't based there...so I'm not sure why it happened. But it did, and they lost. Ha-ha. Art Reed is already gone. He signed a written deal with PGHW. I didn't think he'd last long. |

Just a heads up do not rush to Cult you want to keep strong in your region and run shows when you can afford it in other regions but you want to build up everywhere. PPV is more important than tv show. PPV money is what will make or break you when your at cult as your expenses get alot higher.
don't want see maw go bankrupt ! kutgw! |

Yeah, at first I was thinking of just invading one region, but I remember how much effort it was to try to keep CGC going because of the costs.
Right now, I'm thinking of starting bimonthly (every two months) small, 1 hour long shows and rotating between Great Lakes, South East and Tri-State for now just to get some popularity increases there. Sonuvabitch I did it again. I forgot about Mean Jean's title run, and I'm not going to be able to get him a title in enough time to renegotiate. So I guess I'm going to lose him too... Citizen X, 4 months left, Midcard title promise Omar Brown, 7 months left, Midcard title promise Owen Love, 6 months left, Midcard title promise Ok, those are the title promises I have remaining. Maybe I can find Owen Love another partner, but if The Natural signed a written deal, one might soon follow for Owen Love. Balance: $390,169
Profit: $4,757 Owen Love signed a PPA with NOTBW, so he'll be staying with us for awhile. For the first time in a long time, I did not get the "it should increase our popularity" message after a card (the main one). I did have South East go up to an F in Importance, so that's a plus. Updated Owner Goals Critical: MAW must not have fallen below #31 in the promotion rankings. (Sounds like an endorsement to start spending money to increase our popularity) Average (3 Goals): Must not extend a contract or sign a worker that has less than a D- in Stamina, Toughness or Industry Reputation. That means Flash Savage will be gone (E+ Toughness). I also have a few workers at D- Toughness, so I guess they barely make the cut. Last edited by sabotai : 12-26-2008 at 08:31 PM. |

He has bad chemistry with Brown, de Aske and Cornell. He's running out of options. I'm going to turn him heel and see how does.

New Workers
Adgee Cross Nothing special. He's a jobber with good Selling (B-). Matt Sparrow High Flyer with good Performance ratings. Start him off at as a face Midcard. And we welcome back Mainstream Hernandez. I also tried to sign Shawn Gonzalez, who still thinks MAW is not big enough. Also, Eddie Chandler and Jack DeColt, both unemployed, did not want to come to the US. |
