Believe me, I completely understand muns. Tanaka, my stud catcher, was asking for 6.95 before the season started. I offered him 6 and he declined. I am now offering him 13.865.

Haven't even been able to take a look at any of the stuff that came out of this year, but what a series! Five games decided by a run, two games going deep into extra innings. A heck of a showing by both teams, too, who were clearly evenly matched. I didn't expect it to go that well for us, Charleston hits a lot better than us. Tom Williams who won the RL Best Hitter award is now a free agent though, as I declined to sign him this past year and so, it remains to be seen how the 7th best hitting team in the RL will manage to get back for the three-peat, as I'm certain the entire league will be locking and loaded in '65. |

File is up for the end of the 1964 season, simmed to the start of FA. It's dated October 18, 1964.
I'll get the HTML up tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest. I'm working on something else. Last edited by Young Drachma : 06-30-2008 at 10:41 PM. |

Wow, hell of a series!!! Just finished reading over it now, and it was just crazy. The First three games were just heart breakers for Charlestown. Couple pitches different here and there and its a totally different series. DC said it best, both teams were very evenly matched. Heck of a way to finish up the first full season with a full slate of owners

New file marked December 1, 1964 is going up now. If nothing else, this whole free agency period ought to be REALLY exciting.

To compensate for the LARGE addition to the free agent pool (there are now 3000+ players there) I'm going to add a short-season A and rookie league for each team.

I see someone used an exemption already, I was under the impression those guys were not in the file until tonight though? Did I miss something or is my brain a day behind for some reason.....

He used it on a guy that was a free agent generated by the game who was a rookie. You can use it on any rookie, so long as they've never played in our league before at any level (R-MAJORS) There is a new file up now. Everyone please download this one or else you'll be out of date tomorrow when we take in exports. Basically if you've download the file before 10:27pm CST on Tuesday, you need to get the new file. I have to say that I didn't much appreciate the "replay" feature of OOTP9 until I realized now that I could go back and watch replays of the FOOL Classic games, because I was really curious to know what happened. To view replays, just use the league schedule and go back to whatever date you're looking for and you can "Watch Replay"
