PS4 at some point as I have the PS3 in my den but the PS controllers really suck (WTF were they thinking for the thumbstick placement); it's made for the hands of a 10 year old. Thankfully I found a controller that is basically a 360 controller in terms of layout to use (though I hate the triggers that the PS uses, give me the true triggers like the 360).

Though if it is for the girls it will be an X-Box to replace the 360 in the living room (then I'll hook it up in my den too,,,, so maybe that would be the way to go).

Amazing steps have been made. Even when you compare games from the 90's to now it is amazing and I remember thinking how great the graphics were back then (as they were a big step up from the 80's).

I think pc, xbox and ps owners can all say they have a terrific system and book of games.

You're making my argument for me. Exclusives are what is wrong with the dumb console wars. It's completely artificial and only hurts consumers.

It's also not a matter of developers having more time. It's that the console systems have been setup so that it becomes incredibly expensive to produce titles. Thus you see the same re-hashed AAA titles over and over with little innovation or creativity. B titles have fallen by the wayside and are on the verge of extinction. My gripe isn't with consoles, it's with what both these companies have done to it.

And video games have come along ways over the last 30 years. But they really haven't advanced much over the last 10 outside of graphics.

If anyone is looking to get rid of their PS4 reservation, I'd be interested. Figured someone here or someone we know just might have had a change of plans or something.

It'd go to a good home.

Interesting, sounds like by the time I pick up a PS4 it might be back. I figure I'll wait until next year when the systems have most of their bells and whistles to figure out where I'll throw my dollars. It's weird to think that the systems are only 80% of what they will be in a year or so. It's just like games where it generally takes a month or so for a couple of patches to arrive and the game to be in its full state.

I just walked into a GameStop during lunch today and was able to reserve a new bundle they were literally printing as I walked in, The Epic Bundle. Ready for the price? $999! lol

6 games, extra controller, camera, headset, charging station, 1 Year of PlayStation Plus, 2 $20 PlayStation Network cards.

90% of which will be sold on Craigslist haha (at face value...not trying to scam).

If anyone wants to trade and is preferably in the Chicago area, the games are:

Killzone: Shadow Fall
Battlefield 4
Assassin's Creed IV
Need for Speed: Rivals
Knack (this game looks sweet)
Angry Birds: Star Wars (everyone's favorite)

For about $30, I could have gotten next day shipping, but I won't be around this weekend anyway...should be here next week.

That seems like an insane amount - even with 6 games and a controller.

Jeebus. Especially when I look at that list and see maybe 1 game I'd want (AC IV).

Given that Mike Lowe just picked up a bundle, I'll take over for his offer to make use of someone's reservation if they don't want it.

Yeah, I'll keep an eye out for a regular system, and if I get one, I'll return this bundle.

I might still sell the system...not sure yet.

I have an order through Amazon for the Launch Bundle -- just the system. I am thinking I am going to sell it or possibly cancel.

This is the biggest of the reasons I'll probably end up getting a PS4 at some point.

I have a Knack bundle and an Epic bundle (6 games, 7 accessories) I'll sell if anyone's still looking and having trouble.

Not looking for much, and I live in Chicago if it helps. PM me...

Will be a while but eventually it will be replacing the PS3 with the PS4 in my den. Sometime down the line I'll replace the 360 in the living room. Both may wait for price drops.

My brother just bought my ps3.. so I'm ready financially.. once I decide on a system, trading in my x360 and games will help me pick out a good library of games to boot!

Realistically speaking... $699? Plus controllers, everything altogether probably looking at ~$800 right?

I got the Xbox One and very happy with it. Just have Madden and Forza so far. Forza is astonishing on the new system.

Depends upon how many games and controllers you want. I spent about 650 for my Xbox One with 3 games for it and just the one included controller (will be picking up an extra controller soon.)

I got the PS4 for a little over 500 for 1 extra controller and 1 game for it.

Forza is AMAZING! NBA 2k14 and Forza really took a huge leap from the last versions I played on the 360.

The Wal-Mart I'm at has 40 XBox Ones and 5 PS4s. No line for XBox, PS4 line is already full.

I should also note that a Wal Mart employee knocked the XBox stack over and the ones on top hit the ground really hard.

I want a PS4. I tried ordering through Amazon and everything was sold out. I probably won't be getting either system until next November. I barely play video games and it took me two months to finally beat GTA 5. I will probably find another game to play to hold me over for the next few months.

Finally home with my PS4. I'm usually a numbers don't matter this early kind of guy, but I can't help but think of the supply difference being 40 vs. 5 at the Wal Mart I was at. I wonder if this is widespread?

Probably a store to store thing. Just got back from Black Friday at Wal-Mart with my cousins, and it was 25 PS4s to 10 Xboxes.

The Best Buy I went to didn't even have any PS4s at all today, and the Gamestop sold out of PS4s instantly and at 230 AM still had One's available..

Yeah, Xbox Ones were selling at a decent clip at the few places I visited after work, but nobody had PS4's in stock.
