I'm getting lots of chances, but they have a good keeper. Still nil-nil.
I'm going to pee my pants. |

Ellis Layton still has a lot to learn. Like for instance not to make half-hearted passes in front of Rickie Quiroz who now could score for Galesburg. to 1-0.
Wow. I'm winning. |

18 minutes into the game Jeff Havens was a hair´s breadth away from giving FCGoblins the lead. A prompt block by Wu See-Hong saved the home team that time.
it's starting lol

Man, what a shot by Nate Camp! Firing from 35 yards he didn't give the enemy goalie a chance and it was 0 - 1.

that's about the only thing sweet about him. he's a mean sob lol
Volkmar Beckmann behaved like an inexperienced youth player in the 21st minute as he gave the ball away to an opponent. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. someone wants to get a pink slip in his locker lol

With 18 minutes played Paul Street could have brought this one home for Galesburg, had his hooked ball gone in, but it went just a bit too high. Hilario Pomar behaved like an inexperienced youth player in the 21st minute as he gave the ball away to an opponent. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
Those 2 missed chances may come back to haunt me. |

John Harder gave his Brooklyn the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged both the guests central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the goaltenders right post.
Crap.

"In the 11th minute an unfortunate play by José Antonio Alcolea gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but Boyce Butler, finding himself alone with the keeper, was unable to take advantage of the situation. The referee showed Franks Lloyd Armstead the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A free kick aimed at the keepers far post almost gave Frank the lead in the 23rd minute, but the ball just wasn´t able to squirm it´s way through the defensive wall."
He has gotten 2 chances...me 0....The Cyclones may be looking for a friendly starting next week. |

WOOOT!
Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 25:th minute goal by Chris Taylor for McGees, putting them ahead 1 - 0. I love that Chris Taylor!

Square´s Art Frazier made a successful breakthrough attempt in the game´s 25:th minute and should have levelled the score, but clipped it over the bar.
Why do they always do this? I suppose it's a start, but when the hell are they actually gonna finish this shit? |

Lucian Tere came close to levelling the score in the 28:th minute, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post.
Allright, who put that post there?

Let's see how bad it is now,
In the games 16:th minute Horangye´s Chad Stafford somehow missed a penalty, the keeper taking a premature dive in the right direction, tipping it. In the 19:th minute Fightings Norman Scruggs received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. In the 20:th minute Roger Sisk went down in a suspected penalty situation after a challenge from the visitors right guard, but the referee, having a good line of sight, signalled to keep on playing. Haha, they couldn't put a penalty against my keeper in. Referre did not have a good line of sight. Crap call!

1 - 1 was the half-time score. Northern, bringing the final ball possession rate to 56 percent, dominated the battle.
Losing possession, but we had more scoring chances...with our trainees. And we're PICing. God, I shoulda tried to win this one. |

if I can get 1 goal to avoid a shutout I'll be disgustingly pleased.
FCGoblins held the ball, with a clear 91 percent possession rate. where's the crawfish when ya need em????????? I'm afraid of the second half lol. I should plant some fire ants in their goal so their goalie gets eaten alive lol

Halftime score was 1 - 0. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Brooklyn, with an impressive 57 percent possession of the ball.
Looks like my experiment isn't working out too well. Let's hope superior conditioning will come into play in the second half.
