FOOL 2147 Season Thread

Playoff Outlook:

Baltimore Gothams - Baltimore is no stranger to the Classic. Was last here 3 years ago but lost. Definitely has plenty of playoff appearances. Last won the whole thing 10 years ago. Not the best Gothams team there's ever been by a longshot but they won the division (so either bad division this year of very tough division). Looking for their 22nd win.

Hammersmith Hooligans - Won the whole thing 7 and 9 years ago but having trouble getting back in it. Have only seen the playoffs twice since then. Let's see if this was a "rebuilding" phase in their life and will come on strong this year and for years to come. Looking for their 17th win.

Napa Valley Winemakers - Last won the Classic and actually last made a playoff appearance 5 years ago. Since then they've entered into a severe loss phase. Really top notch pitching but abysmal bats. BUt let's hope this is a new phase of upswing for them. Looking for their 19th win.

Ann Arbor Winged Lingerines - A win two years ago in the Classic and their 3rd playoff appearance in the last five years. Management lately has been good for Ann Arbor and hoping to make them a big name. They have their best pitching in 20 years. Looking for their 6th win.


Matchups:
Hammersmith last met Baltimore in 2138 and beat them soundly while they lost to Napa Valley way back in 2086. Revenge is better late than never I suppose. Baltimore did beat Ann Arbor their last meeting in 2126. Ann Arbor has unfortunately lost to Napa Valley all three times they have met (2067, 2084, 2085)
