Absolute Drift
I earned 3 achievements to reach my goal: Sake Bombs - Fall into the water 5 times Spin Doctor - Complete 5 spins in Driftkhana Bring the Cubic Ruckus - Smash 100 blocks in Driftkhana & MTN Drift Tracks Summary/Review While I am not great at it, though I started to get more of a hang of it, it could be a fun game at times but it gets repetitive very quickly. Not a game for me but the rating will reflect a more overall take on the game as some my like it. Rating: 5/10 Before Time Played: 2 hours Achievements: 4/20 After Time Played: 4 hours Achievements: 7/20

On to ABZU. Aiming for 3 achievements on this one. I have no current achievements and under an hour of play time (I still don't remember that as the game installs).

I remember why I stopped playing this one. Very boring so far, just swimming around under water. Hate the camera, it is not intuitive at all. Keep getting stuck places because the camera ends up in the worst possible location.

ABZU
I reached my goal and it didn't take as long as expected, or as it seemed. Breach - Leap from the water Jetstream - Burst 15 schools of fish while in the jetstream Food Chain - Witness predation while meditating Summary/Review Don't waste your time on this game. The controls absolutely suck, the camera angle can be a nightmare controlling and I still have no clue what the object of the game was. I was swimming around under water. Some times I came upon some sort of underwater diver's companion that only helped me get through to the next "section" but seemed to to little else. At times I randomly ended up in a jetstream that took me elsewhere. I randomly found locations that almost put me in some meth fueled dream where I was swimming above the water until I found some "magic" altar that maybe released fish? I don't know if it released them or if it commanded a school of them to swim. I found some other place that allowed me to meditate, no clue what that was supposed to add to the game. It looks like the people who wrote this game were seriously high on something while making the game. I don't see myself ever going back to this one. Now on to Age of Wonders 3. I had a typo and said 2 in the original post, since corrected. I have a goal of reaching 20 achievements which will be 16 more. Hoping this isn't too lofty of a goal.

What could be a problem for the next couple games is that I may get hooked on them so it may be hard to stop playing once I hit the goal.

Reached achievement number 8.
Caster - Have 50 casting points on your leader. That leaves me 12 more to try to get to reach my goal. May take a while but I am having fun while doing it. |

Age of Wonders III
Going to pause this one and move on. Will return at a later point. I am up to 14 achievements, 6 more to go. Just need to take a break and move on to another game for a bit. Summary/Review I like the style of the 4x game with the turned based controllable combat. The added RPG style elements of leveling up your hero(s) add to the game, I actually suck so far as I haven't had the time to really devote to it and doing a few minutes a pop leads to not being connected enough with my games to keep a good flow to my play style. Started out in Las Vegas (actually continuation from when I played before). I had recently bought a low priced truck. I made two different deliveries, one took me into Arizona and the other one took me a little further. I have found that I can just drive around to find a delivery instead of going to the "online" jobs. I kind of like that approach for now as I will find something from where I am and not have to drive to the job.
I'll give some more details later today, this is all from my poor memory from yesterday before things got a little crazy (wife to ER, not admitted, doing better now but has to follow up with cardiologist). |

Delivered a digger from Holbrook to Clifton. Hated that run, all back roads. Had a 65 MPH speed limit briefly but it changes quickly when getting near a "town" so if you don't pay attention you will end up with a ticket. Luckily I noticed it and had a nice profitable run.

I just realized that I may need to change my goal for this game. A good portion of the achievements require DLC. Will reassess the achievements and come up with a better goal. I thought that only the achievements that I could achieve with the version of the game I had would show; I thought wrong.

Had a nice trip from Clinton to another small town in Arizona (name is escaping me) earlier today. Picked up an achievement.
What's Your BMI: Use a Weigh Station Did have a rough start to that one as I did a bit of damage to the truck in the middle of the night trying to get my load out of where I picked it up. Too dark and too many obstacles. That cost me a few thousand dollars to fix. |

I've run into a slight bump in the road... OOTP 20.
Well, that and bronchitis kicking my butt the past week. This will still continue. |
