Purple is a tougher color for the Sideline Green skin that I use, but I can manage with any of them.

Red is fine, I agree that it stands out more and I want people to be able to notice my posts.

Just switched to sideline green now. Neat skins. Both purple and red are hard on the eyes with sideline green. Surprisingly yellow looks very good in it.
Bright colors (bright blue, red, purple, etc) do not work well in SLGreen. Darker shades do however, so if you use red, I'd test out the dark red. |

I could of course just bold my posts in black to differentiate,
but I'm pretty sure this color works best for the majority of people. |

If you use black tho, the people that have yellow background and black text won't be able to differentiate so your red idea seems good. |

DEAR INHABITANTS
THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING IN THIS EXPERIMENT. SOME OF YOU VOLUNTEERED. THOSE PEOPLE WERE DUMB. THE REST OF YOU WERE GIVEN NO CHOICE. FEEL HONORED TO TAKE PART IN THIS EXPERIMENT. EACH DAY YOU MUST COLLECTIVELY DECIDE ON ONE PERSON FOR THE CUBE TO CONSUME. THERE ARE TWO GROUPS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE WORKING AGAINST YOU AND EACH OTHER. THEY WANT YOU TO DIE. WE THANK THEM FOR THEIR PARTICIPATION. YOU MUST ALSO EACH DAY SEND A MESSAGE TO ME VOTING ON WHICH DIRECTION TO MOVE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN CONSEQUENCES PERPETRATED BY THE CUBE. ENJOY! You all awaken in a strange environment. The floors, walls, and ceilings appear to be made of frosted glass, tinted white. When you are all awake a message appears on the floor in red:
Choose correctly receive white light Opt the wrong dark as night There are three doors in the room. The first is green, has the letter A and a number sequence: 3 8 1 8 8 2 4 7 8 3 The second is blue, has the letter B and a number sequence: 5 2 7 8 7 3 3 8 1 7 The third is orange, has the letter C and a number sequence: 8 4 5 6 7 9 8 6 9 4 |

Looks like the door choices are pretty random for now, until we can start looking for a pattern.
Interested to see how things play out with 2 wolf teams - Passa's Godfather game had that but we didn't realise until the end that that was the case. I guess it's going to make voting record pretty difficult to read. On the plus side the wolves only have limited night kill potential so they're going to have to rely on lynching to get villagers (and the other team) off. Seems like it's going to be a long game. I think we probably need to have two trust groupings - so a person voting for a wolf from team A will be more trusted in group A but remain neutral in group B. Which is going to make things really tricky to track but pretty interesting. I think we need lots of voting patterns to go off of. Vote Zinto Typically UTR player that I haven't ever voted for before. |

Might be worth tracking what door we claim we're voting for but I'm not really sure. There'll be no way of knowing what people have actually voted for so it might just be more trouble than it's worth. I guess it should give us an idea of which group of people might be lying if we wind up going through a different door than the stated voting led us to believe and it's always fun to have something extra to track.
I choose the green door - clearly I'm a closet Shakin' Stevens fan. |

Too tired to look at the door choices tonight, but we have what 19 players. In a normal game, we'd be looking at 5 wolves, so maybe we have something like 11-3-3-2 (two neutrals) though really the inferno hunter will likely play as a villager I would guess?

Not really understanding how the Jester's Mole and Inferno Hunter are anything other than villagers with their own victory conditions. I guess the mole will win even if it's 2 wolves and him and a villager.
So, I am understanding how the Jester's Mole is anything other than a villager. |

No seer, so I'm guessing more like 13-2-2-2. Unless the wolf factions know who each other are, in which case maybe it bumps back up to the numbers you suggest. |

Only one night kill per team though so I definitely see there being more than you're suggesting, hoops. A 2-man wolf faction would be pretty much pointless as far as I can see. I think 3 wolves and neutrals is a decent starting point, possibly more. It would be really interesting if the wolves knew the identity of each other. It would be a bit Resevoir Dogsy with the wolves trying to lynch each other and then trying to work together every so often to take out a couple of villagers. The village could just step back and see the wolves try to snipe off each other without giving themselves away too much to the village. Fun as that might be I don't think it's likely. Unfortunately. Sounds like a great concept. |

Interesting game setup for sure. I think the lack of a regular NK means that we should be more aware of voting blocks as steering the lynch vote is going to be much more valuable to the wolves than it is usually. Also the BG is a much, much less important role this game. As much chance of blocking a villager kill than one of the wolves.
I think there's likely to be more wolves. There's no seer, but there's also no regular NK and according to the above, the wolf teams have no knowledge of who each other are. If you only know one other wolf, and you can only kill somebody once in the game, I don't see how you can have any influence on the game at all except play like a villager and sit back and hope you make it to the end. I wouldn't be surprised to see as many wolves/neutrals than villagers in a game like this TBH. Which is going to make our job very, very tough. I'll go along with you guys and vote green today... don't see anything in the pattern to suggest any meaning yet. |

Hmmm. If I was a paranoid soul I'd find the run on (for?) the green door suspicious. If this was a lynch vote you'd really react to that sort of run.
What? Oh yeah, I am a paranoid soul. I remember now. Just read through and the wolves get to check out a door a day. I actually think that makes me an iota more trusting of the people saying their voting for the green in a run like that. Can't see a wolf risking that if we end up going through a green door and it winds up being bad. |

Based on a crazy long night last night, I am not sure of my availability much today, so I want to just throw a vote out there. I may or may not (unfortunately) be on around to deadline to move it. Nothing behind this, just picked a random person

Seems like there have been enough random votes to get us started today, so I'm going to avoid adding a throw-away vote for now. Also agree that the door choice seems random and arbitrary for now.

Well I assume the numbers have some mathematical property. But until we get some info on doors it might as well be random as far as we can tell. My first thought is the blue door.
