Redskins special teams are extra special today. Blocked XP. Then an 8 yard punt.

21-7 Pats, and Gronk does a good impression of the soldiers at Buckingham Palace before the spike

Jesus, I feel for RG III. He makes great plays, and the WR keep dropping the balls. Definitely one of those turn on the TV to watch him kind of guys though.

That firing the defensive coordinator thing really worked out for the Eagles, didn't it?

That's three Pass Interference calls on Fletcher so far. All three of them give the Pats new life (all on third down incompletes), and that one makes it 28-7 before half.

Somehow, I think it's going to be a VERY long flight home for Fletcher...

I don't want to jinx it, but yes I am happy with this offensive performance so far!

Lots of amazing things about that.

That quarterback (Todd Blackledge) was drafted in 1983. That's the last time the Chiefs drafted a QB in the first round.

Am I the only one who thinks it odd that the NFL keeps running that ad about player safety featuring a guy who is probably out for the season? If Brady gets a concussion, wonder if they pull it.

Miami up 20-0 at the half scares the shit out of me. Seen too many second half collapses against the Jets over the years.

I think the Pats were pissed off about everyone writing them off after the admittedly unimpressive win last week against the Jets. They look like a machine.

Not surprised offense is doing what they are, I need a few more mediocre performances by the defense before I consider them only a bit below average.

In the Steelers game, the "good" refs mangle an obvious incomplete pass that was deemed an interception. It wasn't even close but we get 2 mins of commercials for the obvious.

Skins WR are killing RG3 with 8 drops.

I saw the one highlight of Big Ben throwing the first TD, and decided I am very glad that game is not on locally because I don't think I could watch it for long. Those unis look painful to watch for any length of time, not just the Steeler's but in combo with the Redskins white shirt / yellow pants.

Packers have not looked good but could pick up a game on Chicago if they hold onto this lead. I guess Jordy Nelson is what makes this offense go. If they were playing anybody but Jacksonville they'd probably be losing.

The other awesome thing is that one of the camera angles is so horrible with its color correction and nobody has bothered to try to fix it. Most angles are bright, but this one is drab yellow.

At least he shouldn't have time to pout since the Panthers get the ball right back.

Strategy is to continue giving up long bombs to shorten the time of possession and allow the offense to get back on the field. Once you realize that, everything makes sense.

Is it me or does Fox deliberately not displaying the scores of other games in progress?

I see player stats, but I have no idea what the game scores are.

It is starting to annoy me.
