Never heard of any of them but Subways and Quiznos. I like Quiznos, but since Subway started toasting (though it's really just heating) I've been all over the Spicy Italian.

I don't know if this means anything, but a couple of my co-workers and I went to Taco Bell for lunch a few weeks ago, and the owner of the Quizno's in the town where I work was at Taco Bell at noon eating lunch. He was wearing his Quizno's shirt and nametag, too.

Wow, all those sub places you named, never heard of them besides of course Subway and Quiznos.

Here we have:
Quiznos
Subway
Blimpie Subs
Cousins Subs

Those are listed by favorite, I hate Blimpie and never had a Cousins so don't know how they are, so played it safe and put them on the bottom.

Something about Quiznos, I love them, but sad thing is we usually end up just getting Subway. Strange it really is, since me and my wife both prefer Quiznos. It is probably since Subway it closer (not by that much, but is the only reason I can think of), you know darnit, I am going to raise hell about this with her...why the hell do we eat at Subway?

Not sure if its the same chain, but when I travel to Louisville, theres a McAllisters Deli right next to the hotel. They have some great sandwiches but I usually get the giant spud.

Just because he works at Quiznos dosen't mean he has to eat lunch there every single day.

I've had Quiznos and it's pretty good, but don't really go there that often. Subway's been off my board for a while, even though we have one just outside our neighborhood. The wife and I have a couple of regular places in Potbelly (which, while small, are extremely good) and DiBella's (which seems to have locations in Ann Arbor and NYC and that's it), which has a great selection of meaty sandwiches.

I will also throw in words of support for Jason's Deli and McCallister's (there's a roast beef sandwich with au jus that they serve that may be the best thing served between bread slices, IMO) and a local sub place in Charlotte called Firehouse. Whenever we go home to see family, we try to hit at least one of them somewhere along the way.

He's the owner, not a worker. And noon is a bad time for a deli owner to be taking lunch. Especially when his wife does not deal well with the incompetent minimum wage wage employees who work at that particular Quizno's.

I mentioned it above. It isn't a 'local sub place', but a chain:

Unless there are two Firehouse sub shops in Charlotte.

Ah, okay. Only one I'd known about was the one in Charlotte. At any rate, none of those Charlotte joints is up here in Michigan and I'd like it a lot if they were.

This seems inconsistent. Since reading this I have seen signs with both spellings (with and without the apostrophe). Odd. Wonder who gets to decide... and if some are just mistakes? (I'd expect the franchisee to just order signs from a stock setup from the main company -- why would there be two different spellings?)
