USC should be up by 50 in this game.

What on earth has happened to Michigan State? Starting to wonder if they'll win another game this year ... sad after the run they'd been on the last few seasons. As mentioned, also shocked at Houston.

Yeah, good point. They'll beat Rutgers I'm sure ... honestly could lose to Illinois the way the offense has played though.

Six turnovers ... and down by only 7 with 7 minutes in regulation.
Does that situation maybe cause us to actually downgrade our opinion of A&M?

Texas A&M needs to drive a stake through Tennessee's heart, and don't stop until the body stops moving.

Tennessee has 9 lives. No matter the situation you just cant count them out this year. It is hard to be super impressed with this team but they certainly have heart. And luck!

So, with 4 minutes left in the Tennessee game, a couple officers come into the hotel and ask if they can watch the rest of the game. The next 30 minutes of real time were boisterous to say the least. By the end of it, the lobby was swimming with Vols fans living and dying with each second.
As someone without a horse in the race, that was one of the more exciting and enjoyable games I have ever seen, and the last few minutes were just flat out insane.

Six whole yards of offense for Rutgers in the first half. Michigan's defense needs to stop screwing around.

All the luck in the world has a hard time beating 7 turnovers. Don't know much else to say about the Vols game than that.
I have little clue whether to think being so close despite a year's worth of mistakes means they're good, or if the game being so close despite so many mistakes means A&M really isn't all that good.

Petersen is going to be a UW legend. He's take about a decade's worth of frustration on the Ducks. He's even mixing in a triple reverse up 35 points. Definitely doing this for the fans

I'm going to guess this is in response to the horribly bogus call late in the Miami-FSU game. That was really really bad call, and replay proved utterly useless.

UCLA loses because Jim Mora coaches like field position is the most imporant aspect in college football. Punted from the 34 yard line.
And Rosen gets hurt. |

Other than Washington the Pac-10 seems very average. UCLA and Stanford both lose. Stanford has to be worried.
Harbaugh and Meyer are making coaching in the B1G look easy. How quickly Harbaugh has turned Michigan back into a power is nothing short of amazing. The Ducks have fallen fast so you can expect a few more of these type games for them after how they were embarrassing teams for the past few years. As things are the playoffs would be looking something like this 1. Alabama 2. Ohio State/Michigan winner 3. Clemson 4. Ohio State/Michigan loser or Washington If one of these teams falter in an unusual scenario I think Louisville or Texas A&M jump into the top 4. |

It would be very interesting to see who would get in between a one loss OSU/Michigan and an undefeated Washington in a terrible PAC-12
Washington schedule is just about as bad as you can possibly get. Three pathetic OOC games, could well come back to bite them |

Teams like UCLA and Stanford arent helping Washington that is for sure. Coming into the season UCLA/Stanford/possibly Oregon all looked like top 25 teams and well now they arent. At this point it looks like Washington may be the only Pac-10 that ends the year in the top 25. Washington is going to have to turn of the throttle all game long and embarrass these teams like they did today. |

Not that I think this will happen, but it is a scenario. Let's say Ohio State beats Nebraska & Michigan beats Ohio State in the regular season, and then Nebraska beats Michigan in the Big 10 title game. All three have 1 loss. What happens then? The galaxy implodes?

And to piggyback Sui. What if Clemson loses a reg season game and then loses in the ACC to champ to a 2 loss team. Do 3 B1G teams and Alabama get in?
Nebby, UM, OSU, Alabama?

Boy, it appears I couldn't have been more right about Texas and Notre Dame after that first game. It was a game of two 'name' schools where both assumed they were pretty good because they were playing another 'name' school. As it turns out, they both are distinctly average at best. At some point it's kinda hard not to laugh at stuff that happens.
Georgia calls seven straight running plays, gain 47 yards, no run under 4 yards. Next three plays: incomplete pass, holding penalty, pass for 4 yard loss

Yep, I think that's exactly right. Much as it would suck for the OSU-Michigan loser(I think Ohio State's better, much as I root for the Wolverines) I would put an undefeated Washington in over them and end up with Alabama-Clemson-Ohio State-Washington right now as the most likely final four. Based on what we know now of course, season's only half over and all that. But I can't imagine the Huskies losing any of their remaining games. Tough luck for Louisville if they win the rest, but sometimes a yard or two is the difference.

Eason is 3/13 for 14 yards ... and Georgia leads 14-0.
South Carolina -3 turnover margin, and allowing 195 rushing yards in the first half explains why.

Georgia looked terrible. They should thank their lucky stars they were playing SCAR, who is one of the worst teams in the country.

No, because 6 of the top 12 are SEC teams. Therefore, it's very relevant!

It's still probably better than their attempt at rating quarterbacks. (That said, I found those QB ratings to be at least mildly interesting in a look at them last night)
